Guest Reviews
- Heena (9/5): - Lovely home, nice touches with biscuits, teabags and toiletries. Would have been nice to have some fans as we stayed at a time when it was very hot and uncomfotable.
The floorboards in the main bedroom need fixing as some felt very loose. My daughter also got a splinter from that room (through her socks!) so please fix the flooring for health and safety reasons.
- Deepti (10/5): Perfect stay in Cambridge - Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and cosy home away from home. Love the colours! Perfect location to explore Cambridge, and with the best Chinese restaurants nearby. N/A

- Kaia (10/5): Comfortable and inviting, a lovely spot to stay - A really lovely, comfortable spot. We enjoyed it immensely! About a half hour walk to the city center, and really close to excellent food and cozy pubs. Would have stayed longer if we’d had time; it was just such a great spot to come back to after a day of exploring the city. Thank you also for the tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge! We were super happy with it - no notes :)
- Michelle (9/5): Great place to stay and good location - Spacious and comfortable Parking and stairs
- Christine (8/5): Great - Great location, extra bits like tea coffee biscuits such a lovely touch. Hosts seemed nice though we didn’t meet them. Bed in front room very uncomfortable.
- HELENE (10/5): - La maison très agréable, super bien équipée, les 2 toilettes, la literie confortable, le jardin. Le centre accessible à pied en traversant des parcs avec des vaches.
- Cindy (9/5): Gezellig gezinshuis, leuke uitvalsbasis - Leuke buurt, huis van alle gemakkken voorzien. Host kwam direct langs toen we een praktische vraag hadden. De pick up was favoriet! Matrassen konden wat steviger

- Robert (9/5): Excellent, sadly too short. - We met the host on site who was very welcoming and friendlyy. The lock was very modern and easy to use. No problems with entry. It was a lovely property with a short walk to the pub. Sadly we had to cut our stay short due to family issues at home. We will return though.

- Kiki (10/5): Lovely house, a home from home. - It is a very cosy house with a nice garden not far from the centre, near a cosy pub in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. The house is fully equipped and the owners are easy to reach and are very flexible on arrival and departure times. Everything was actually very good, so really no negative remarks, but if I could adjust one thing I would put a dimmer on the spotlights in the kitchen and sitting area. Those were very bright.
- Tracy (9/5): Superb -

- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Anna (10/5): Lovely stay - Loved the look of the house and the room it gave us. The record player was so lovely and enjoyed tinkling on the piano.
Parking no issue, loads of bits in the kitchen to help cook. Enjoyed the walk in to the centre, helped work off all the lovely food and drink off. Only two very small issues,.
The bath towels were on the smaller size but perfectly functional.
The beds do squeek quite a bit.
- Magdalena (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice home :) It's great for 4 people. 20 minutes walk to the center. Very friendly and helpful owners :) Highly recommend 👌 All went great
- Wenqing (10/5): Exceptional - The house is really cosy and nice. The owner is very nice and the house is clean and has many facilities to spend a nice moment with friends or families.
It is easy to find a public parking place. It is about 25 minutes' walking to the visit spots.
- Snaith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevisan (10/5): Great experience in Cambridge - We were delighted with the house It's even nicer than the pictures! It was spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts were very considerate and helpful when there was a misunderstanding about the booking. We definitely recommend it!
- Jianbo (9/5): Superb - Very clean, comfortable and great location. Excellent for family.
- Alwyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terri (10/5): Perfect thanks 😊 -
- Elaine (10/5): Lovely house in a great location - Lovely house in walking distance of the city centre. Had a variety of shops a very short walk away including M&S Simply Food and Asda. Great pub on the corner. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Easy to park on the street. Great communication with the owners. Nothing
- Kate (10/5): Didn’t want to leave. Quite happy to live in that house forever ! - A fabulous house, home from home, everything from heating, lots of quality kitchen facilities, basic food items and more so we enjoyed a full English both mornings. The record player, funny hats and lots of board games and cards, we enjoyed a kitchen disco, a rowdy game of Irish snap and card games sat night! So nice not to have to rush with a late checkout 1pm. Beds really comfy, beautiful bathroom shower. Communication from hosts excellent. 20 min walk to city centre Nothing!
- Patrik (10/5): Cozy and Fun Home from Home in Cambridge. - This house is really a friendly living space, and you can fell it's vibe right as you step inside! It is located in a quiet friendly street, away from the busy town cetre. I visited with a group of 6, and we could fit comfortably. There are 2 two person bedrooms on the upper level, and a foldable couch on the ground level. The kitchen and the overall living space is so spacious, we never felt crowded when we were inside.
And big plus for the many bits and stuff you can find everywhere, this place is not just well equipped but also fun to explore! There are a lot of useful or just fun stuff that makes this house a home (vinyl player, piano, guitar, board/card games, radio....). I would highly recommend booking this place if you are travelling with a smaller group to Cambridge! The town centre is about 10-15 minutes walk away, but we actually came for that quite enviroment. Also there are plenty of shops and pubs nearby too, just not the big ones.
The beds are a bit too soft for my taste, but they are not too bad for a shorter term (3-5 days).
Handling the shower is tricky but it can be tamed :)
- Penny (10/5): Birthday break - The house was gorgeous & spacious. Lots of places to sit and relax. Bed was comfy. Lots of lovely eclectic furniture 😀 wonderful choice of records to play.
Not too far from city centre, about a 20 min walk. Great pub 1 min walk away, very quirky and friendly. The shower was a bit difficult to work, the cold water was awkward to get on, but once temperature sorted was very powerful . 4 of us shared the house and we didn't run out of hot water which was great.
- Andrew (9/5): Would definitely return. - Very well equipped and comfortable with rather more space than we had expected. Quiet location about a 20 minute walk from the city centre and just a couple of hundred yards from the supermarket. Very good gastro pub [Geldart] just 50m away. Would definitely book again if on another stay at Cambridge. The garden could do with a bit of attention, it didn't bother us in December but would benefit from a tidy up for the warmer weather. Parking is quite busy you'll find somewhere just not necessarily right outside the door.
- Joao (8/5): Good stay in a stylish family house - - Easy check-in & check-out
- Good house decor & cosy
- Good wi-fi connection
- Good value for the money and location - Smoke alarm running out of batery and it kept beeping every 40 seconds (annoying at night)
- When it rains heavily, the kicthen ceiling leaks
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (10/5): Great! - Lovely house. Great, homely, interesting, clean. Helpful owners. Sofa bed not very comfortable.
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - This house is lovely, it's beautifully decorated, the kitchen has everything you could need. Record player is a lovely touch and upstairs bedrooms are lovely and comfy The sofa bed downstairs was quite uncomfortable, there are no blinds on the back window and the front window blinds let a lot of light in. Could do with a sofa bed upgrade and some curtains/blinds downstairs if it's advertised as sleeping 6
- Zarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margie (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): A beautiful house which is comfortable and relaxing. - the property feels like a home from home with many additional details that I would not expect in a rental property.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Great little home from home. Clean, attractive and characterful Was all great.
- Belkycita (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (8/5): Very good -
- Augustė (10/5): The most lovely stay in Cambridge you could imagine! - Everything about the place was just absolutely lovely - in fact, everyone kept on using the word 'lovely' to describe it so it is well worth the title! The downstairs was very spacious, the bedrooms very comfortable and the bathroom felt luxurious. On top of that, since I was staying there for the night before my wedding, the host left a lovely card, biscuits and prosseco! It was a wonderful experience and I felt right at home.
- Helen (9/5): Lovely house in a great location - Lovely clean and comfortable house. Lots of space downstairs, good sized bathroom, kitchen and rear living space. Lots of quirky features, the vinyl collection and record player were real highlights The beds were comfy but did squeak a fair bit. We thought parking could be tricky, we were fortunate to find somewhere fairly close. The garden was a little overgrown.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Hayley and Rob were very helpful, the house is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is brilliant for local food and drink places and convenient for getting to town.
