Guest Reviews
- David (9/5): Great for a family - Very clean, room for parking. Importantly it had 2 shower rooms and a downstairs toilet. The rooms were all a reasonable size and we were provided with towels, toiletries in the shower and cornflakes for breakfast for the first morning. There were plenty of plates, glasses and mugs and there was a pod coffee machine with pods provided. There was a hairdryer and an iron and board. It had a back garden which would be nice in the summer The microwave was too small for the bigger plates, which was frustrating. The second shower room was very small, but we were able to use it. There were also quite loud renovation works next door. Not the fault of the property but would have been annoying if staying longer

- Lisa (7/5): Basic house in good area for hospital however not without issues - Great location for the hospital and parking was easy Walked into the house and the stair carpet was filthy with black stains on it and 2 of the bedrooms had windows which wouldn’t close (let alone lock) and one had scaffolding very close to it from the
house next door which is being renovated (workmen were respectful and only there between 7.30-3.30 ish so no issue with noise.
I raised issue with windows and safety as well as cold (temperature is now dropping in evenings) and the owners were great and very responsive sending someone out the next day but alas couldn’t be mended during our 4 night stay. The maintenance guy did put a ratchet around the handles to secure the window at the back and the owners did waive the early access fee as a gesture of good will but would obviously have preferred to have been able to use those rooms (especially as one had a double bed in it rather than having to sleep in a single!)
The house is very basic but it was perfect for our stay as we had hospital visits every day.
- Lisa (9/5): Great communication, great property! - Clean, modern, close to city centre, perfect for what we needed
- Jenny (9/5): Good house for a family stay in Cambridge - A good tidy property in handy location to the hospital. The house has everything we needed for the 6 of us.
- June (7/5): A well-located, comfortable place for a group of friends to enjoy a short break together. - Location and easy access to centre on public transport.
Great heating and warm.
Plenty of room for our requirements.
Owners were swift to answer our problem with the internet and sorted out the problem. Cleaner - dishwasher was smelly with food in the filter and a large piece of glass. Tub of sludgy water outside the back door. The swing bin in the kitchen had a new liner in but was smelly. Bins were overflowing and all refuse was mixed up with recycling etc - we took our recycling home.
Radiator in bathroom and single room wasn't working.
Only 2 dessert spoons provided.
- Elena (7/5): Good - Space for the family, 2 bathrooms and wc, beds for 7 people. The only 1 key for the whole family of 6 people. The dining room had only 4 chairs... It was a noisy traffic outside.
The two-person bed (at the ground floor) was very uncomfortable for 2 people.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spacious house. Clean and comfortable. Location was a bit out of town but still easy enough to get around.
- Lorna (10/5): A clean and well provisioned house suitable for a large group - Very welcoming, with milk and breakfast options available for us too Very good value for money - not too fault!
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Leonidas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Penny (6/5): A bit disappointed considering the cost of the property. We would not stay again. - The property was clean and tidy and newly decorated. Parking for 3 cars. Two beds had a very uncomfortable mattress. A few things were missing from the itinerary - milk, dish cloth, sponge (for washing up), ironing board and iron were broken, headboard not attached and with sharp staple which caused injury, shower gel dispensers not filled-we purposefully did not take any as it was specified that this was provided. We notified the property which said they would address these things in the future
