Matt (2/5): Avoid this place - Location was very good - but then San Marino is not very big. Accepted our booking in the late afternoon and after which the host tried to get a cleaner in and forced us to wait until 9pm. They should not accept a booking if the room is not ready, or at least inform us of that option before accepting. The reason they did this is the host tried to make as much money as possible from the previous guests by charging a super-late check-out to the previous guests. We tried to cancel because we really needed to be in there by 7pm (booking.com said check-in from 4pm and it was available) but he made it impossible and was extremely aggressive/passive-aggressive. In the end we gave up and went with it... but when we got in at 9pm then the apartment was dirty and not cleaned properly despite their last minute efforts, the WiFi and coffee machines didn't work, bathrooms grubby. Horrible. I give positive reviews to nearly all booking.com stays but this was a nightmare and I would strongly avoid this place.

Kessler (10/5): Great location in beautiful town, steep mountain roads, amazing views. - Nice, big, comfortable place in great location just off a main street in San Marino. Of course, if you're in San Marino I think every place is a great location, as it's not exactly the big city. San Marino is an old European town on a mountain, with beautiful views all around, different from any other city we visited. The main industry is tourism, so it's all tourists and tourist shops, but it's very clean and friendly and still has that medieval European vibe. Also, you've got to love a place with a vampire museum and a museum of torture. I can't complain, because it's part of what makes the place so unique, but the city is very steep. You're always walking up a mountain or down a mountain, which can be hard on those with weak knees or other physical issues slowing them down (we're not so young any more). They have benches along the streets to sit and take a break, but getting around can be tough on us old folks. They told us that's why San Marino girls have the best legs in the world, but I don't know if we saw any real San Marino girls, as the only locals seem to be the ones running the tourist stores. LIke Venice, it's a unique place but seems like also mostly just a tourist spot.

The house is exceptionally clean and tranquil, boasting comfortable bedding and a terrace with a splendid view. All of these factors made my stay thoroughly enjoyable. Additionally, I would like to commend the staff for their attentive service and the overall ambiance of the place, which added to the charm of my experience. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a delightful stay in this beautiful area.
