- Diana (10/5): - It was quite area, comfortable beds, nice dining area, everything was feeling like at home. 100% recommended. None
- Mrs Tracey Anne (9/5): A lovely stay in a clean well presented area, close to local amenities. Really lovely views from the front bedroom windo - Well situated, clean lovely quiet area, well stocked with everything you could need.
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Perneet (8/5): Lovely homey cottage - Ample space for all of us, clear instructions on the facilities and the area, the decor was thought out so it felt comfy and homey. Beds were a little uncomfortable, but lots of bedding was provided. The lock on the bathroom was broken.
The photo of the driveway was a bit misleading - a bit tight, but there was plenty of on-street parking
- Russell (1/5): Bad - The mood
- Deborah (6/5): We were there to see family, a funeral, so location was great to be near. - Just a few hints: No bed side cabinet in little bedroom for glass of water at night, to put my glasses, phone etc, maybe take out the wardrobe as there is a big wardrobe in the big bedroom, replace with a chest of drawers to put things on. A mirror on the wall for makeup, by the window, in the little bedroom. The mirror doors in the big bedroom are tinted. You can’t see clearly to put on makeup, we were all crowding around the little mirror in the bathroom. Perhaps a mirror downstairs.
Bath mat in the bath, slipped in the bath when having a shower, it is a narrow bath slipped when turning around, a grab rail on the wall to help with getting in especially for us oldies.
We didn’t use the garden as out, unable to comment on the outside.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - Location close to family. Comfortable, well equipped, homely cottage Off road parking The back garden needs tidying and an outside light would be helpful.
- Patel (10/5): Exceptional - Nice house
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Fantastic weekend definitely will return 5 star - Spotless in a quiet location definitely will return Nothing

- Sarah (7/5): Cosy, comfortable base to explore the area from. - Cosy, comfortable base to explore the area from. N/A
- Claire (9/5): Cosy, comfortable accommodation with amenities close by - Lovely cottage feel to it. Clean and tidy with plenty of space. Welcomed the heating that had been programmed to come on during our stay. Shame about the slight smell of damp
- Nadia (7/5): Pleasant stay - I recently stayed at this lovely cottage and had a wonderful experience. The cottage was clean and located in a fantastic spot, making it easy to explore the area. The kitchen was well laid out, but it could benefit from a few extra frying pans, cooking trays, and kitchen roll. It would have been helpful to have a few more essentials like fresh coffee, kitchen foil, and clingfilm on hand. However, despite the limited stock, what was available worked fine for our stay.
The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, which was especially convenient as we were traveling with four little ones. The host was extremely helpful and responsive via text, even providing us with a hairdryer upon request, which was very kind. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend this cottage. N/A
- Jessica (10/5): Very nice and clean beautiful home, had a wonderful stay. - Everything Nothing
- Ferdinand (8/5): Very good -
- Mohammed (10/5): Swansea cottage - It was magnificent to spend weekend in this beautiful cottage. Everything was clean and all facilities ware available. Very comfortable. Definitely will come again.
- Amanda (10/5): Peaceful and tranquil home away from home - Very clean and spacious and comfortable. Being able to sit quiet in a morning with a coffee on the decked area was amazing and so peaceful and tranquil. Everything you needed to be able to cook and clean was readily available and is very much like a peaceful home away from the chaos of being at home. Excellent communication with the host and very friendly and speedy and through response to any queries. Thank you for letting us stay and hope to return again in the near future Only issue really is the smell in the bathroom from I assumed to be drains but not a massive issue really and I can appreciate is a common occurrence in homes anyway. The only other small thing is that the smaller bedroom the door doesn't close properly but again only a minor thing which was easily resolved to meet our needs by swapping rooms.
- Jon (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was a lovely cottage! - Kitchen facilities were very good and the lounge space was perfect, with nice decor. Great that it was dog friendly. The house booklet was very clear. Hot water system/shower was not very good, particularly in the morning. The water was warm for about a minute and then went cold.
Clothes drying rack was broken a couldn’t be used. Hand towel in bathroom would have been useful.
- Lianne (9/5): We very much enjoyed our stay and we’re very comfortable and felt at home - Very clean and large bedroom. We liked all the plants and the layout of the property. Hot shower. Nice little garden for a morning coffee. 10 minute walk to bus stop into town Would have been nice to have some salt/pepper , oil etc in the cupboards. Extra bits like a glass jug would be handy also! There was coffee and sugar but didn’t look like they’d been topped up for a while
- Sarah (10/5): Great little find, highly recommend - Very clean and very comfortable couldn’t fault it There wasn’t anything we didn’t like
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect little get away - Gorgeous cottage Nothing
- Gcoocg (6/5): Nice cottage but we expect the property to be water tight and damp free! - It was a lovely little cottage with plenty of space downstairs. Offstreet parking, warm and well furnished. Great location for our needs The kitchen had a broken drawer handle, its a long handle so it would drop and block the other drawers, plenty of cutlery but no real cooking utensils a wooden spoon and a potato masher. A spatula, a fish slice, a spoon, any of these super cheap items would make all the difference. The wardrobe in the small bedoom is rickety.
The main issue was water ingress. At the top of the stairs, water was running down the walls. This is not acceptable, also its terrible for the property. So much water had collected behind the wall paper it bulged like a hot water bottle. Its been doing this for ages as there are dark stains on the wall and ceiling. There are damp patches elsewhere in the property and water stains on the ceiling. The owner has put dehumidifier tubs all over the house so they are clearly aware that the property is damp. In our opinion this is not suitable for letting in its currant condition. It poured with rain every day during our stay, It's Wales, we're Welsh we're very aware of Welsh weather, but knowing the property was leaking so badly made us anxious and of course the pervading damp smell which the owner had tried to mask with plug in room freshners.
- Solo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy. Responsive host. Well stocked house with everything you need for a short break. Will be back.
- Michael (8/5): Great - Very comfortable; clean and well presented; pets welcome. Near plenty of local coffee shops, cafes, etc.. Back garden wasn’t quite enclosed/secure enough to let the dog into the garden on its own, other than that it was great
- Paul (7/5): Good - clean and tidy it's a long way from the main street. it's not a cottage it's a end of terrace house with very step hill to get to it. but having said that it was easily a 7 .
- Jacquie (8/5): Lovely homely stay which was comfortable and enjoyable. I would be very happy to stay here again. - The facilities were great, space, decor was great, comfortable and homely.
It was very much appreciated to have washing up products and clothes available as well as tea.
The beds were all very comfortable and the towels were nice too. Nice to have necessities like toilet paper and shampoo available too. There was a very strong musty stale smell which required us to get some plug-in air fresheners to cope.
There wasn’t a clothes horse to hang washing on which wasn’t very convenient and the back door area had a large amount of rubbish which wasn’t very appealing. There was rubbish strewn around out the back too which was disappointing.
- Asadur (7/5): Good - Looked like it was newly refurbished and we may have been one of the first people in. Kitchen was well equipped except no kitchen knives were available. Everything seemed new and un-used. The house was clutter free and spacious for 2 adults and 2 young children The living room floor was not mopped and dirty. There was no mop, broom or vacuum to clean as we went along which was not nice especially since I had two little kids playing on the floor
