(5/5): Stay here if eerything else is full. - Sanders is located centrally in Landstuhl, though if driving there is no parking available and you have to walk to public paid parking a couple blocks away. The building appears to have been a recent conversion, haphazardly done, with an odd assortment of units. We were in two - unit 1, a 3 bedroom apartment on floor 1 with two full sized beds and one queen (advertised as sleeping 6 but this is questionable) and unit 3, on the 4th floor with one bedroom and three small convertible cots in the main living area. Both units were large, and unit 3 had a small balcony and nicer decor, while unit 1 had the bare minimum of furnishings and a funky maroon sofa covered in blankets. Both units had a bathroom and washer dryer, but the units had appliances that were either nonfunctional or full of mold in the filter areas or interiors. The units were sparsely equipped with linens, but the radiator heating worked ok so more blankets were not necessary. No elevator in building. Both units had dirt in the corners, dust kitties under the beds, and funky odors in the drains. Though messaged a number of times on Booking.com about various things, I never received a response from the manager.

• Rudman (1/5): - From the moment you walk into the building, the stairwell is dirty and cluttered full of random things. Then you had to walk up 6 flights of stairs, only to get to a door that someone had tried to break into. There were visible marks of someone trying to pry the door open. So the apartment was definitely not safe for a family with children to stay in. We didn't even stay at the apartment since it was too hard for me to walk up that many stairs after having surgery at the local hospital. When I tried to tell the owner that it would be impossible for me to stay because of the surgery, they kept the money and tried to say they needed to pay a cleaning fee when we never entered the actual apartment. We opened the door and left after seeing that someone tried to pry it open. We were in the building for a matter of 2 minutes. Also, it was impossible to find any parking nearby due to ongoing construction. Do not recommend this place at all!!

• Tapia (8/5): Would stay again, however a few things need improvement! - Property provided everything needed for a 2 week stay. Chipped wall paint. Not all beds had the same mattress as others. Lights were out in hallway entrance, living room and bathroom to include lamps in the apartment. Shutters to outside Terrance were broken. No parking for the apartments. No microwave for reheating food. Couch had stains and felt not clean.

Die Taschen mussten hunderte Meter getragen werden und dann noch Treppen hoch. HIERAUF WURDEN WIR BEI DER BUCHUNG NICHT HINGEWIESEN!!! WIR HABEN EINMAL IN DER NÄHE AUF EINEM SEITENSTREIFEN GEPARKT UND EINE VERWARNUNG I HÖHE VON 55 EURO BEKOMMEN!!!!!!!!!!! Gegenüber der Eingangtür und den Fenstern war der Ausstoß einer großen Dunsthaube. Alles stinkt nach altem Fett, auch im Appartement. Im Appartement : Küchenaussttung mangelhaft, Keine vernünftigen Töpfe, sehr wahrscheinlich aus der Steinzeit, Kein Brotmesser, keine Abtrocken- tücher, wenn man die Dunstabzugshaube bedienen will sind die Finger voll Fett, GRUNDSÄCHLICH SAUBERKEIT MANGELHAFT. Ich könnte jetzt noch zig Sachen aufführen, aber ich bekomme jetzt schon dicke Finger. Preisleistungsverhältnis 🤮🤮🤮

• Marita (3/5): Don‘t rent Apt #6 - unless you are a dedicated smoker and love people smoking in front of your apartment door - The apartment is very spacious! The apartment is very dark, only two small windows you can open. Although it says the terrace belongs to the apartment, a big ash tray was on this terrace under the roof on top of the door to the apartment. This invited renters of other apartments to stand in front of my apartment and smoke. I immediately informed Sander‘s apartment bit they only reacted after I had left! In front of the entrance to the apartment you find as well old socks, broken fake trees, and of course the community ashtray which was knocked over by wind at night and the cigarette buds were scattered in front of the apartment. Nobody cleaned up. My group are all non-smokers and the property was listed as „non-smoking“. So I really did not expect this. The smell in the staircase is not the best as well - the door to the kitchen of the cafe/restaurant on ground floor is always open - it leads to the staircase

Wir sollten über einen code den schlüsselkasten öffnen, konnten aber niemanden über die angegebene Telefonnummer erreichen. Nach lagen Bemühungen entdeckten wir unter dem Punkt eine Nachricht senden in der email den code 🤪🤪 Es fehlten auch die Nachttisch Lampen.

Place is adorably decorated and very comfortable, street parking was easily accessible in front of property. Also, very close to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (the reason we were in the area). Would 100% recommend to anyone and will certainly be rebooking for any future visits.

The beds were so comfortable and we liked that the kitchen had the essentials plus coffee and tea The drain in the shower did not drain properly and we couldn't properly close the windows. Also the parking limit of 2 hours was not very convenient

• Eric (5/5): Host is great. Apartment location and kitchen, not so much. - The host was very responsive to all requests and questions. We had an issue with the dryer and he had someone contact us within 24 hours. Getting the keys was very easy, using the lockbox. The apartment was very big and, despite not having AC it was easy to keep pretty cool with all the windows open and the rollers up or down depending on the time of day. The apartment is very big as is the balcony. You can watch planes take off and land at Ramstein AFB and you can see Nanstein Castle from the balcony. Sander's Cafe is 2 floors down from the apartment so you have cooking smells all day long, as well as the exhaust fans from the cafe that are pretty loud (and smelly) while sitting on the balcony. With no AC, you must have the windows open almost all the time. It gets very loud due to the location. All night there are people and large trucks up and down the street. Just one street over is like a completely different world with almost no noise. Our biggest complaint was that the kitchen was not clean. EVERYTHING in it, cabinets, dishes, glasses, appliances, were covered in old cooking grease. We spent half the first day trying to make it usable, but had to give up on several things (many dishes, pots/pans, the vent hood) as they were just too nasty to clean. Because of dietary restrictions and our schedules, we intentionally sought an apartment for the ability to cook, this was very disappointing and caused a lot of inconvenience for us the entire time we were there.
• An37 (7/5): Stayed for a night - Check in was smooth and easy. The apartment was spacious. Unfortunately, we stayed here during extremely hot weather. It was very hot and uncomfortable as expected. Each room had a fan, but outside of one, there was something wrong with the fan. The shower didn't drain properly and there was standing water during every shower. We acknowledged quiet hours, but the neighborhood didn't. People were walking up and down the street all night and they were very loud. The apartment is also on a busy road so cars are zooming past all day and night. Overall, not a horrible stay, but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

• Camara (8/5): Nice place for larger families - Our family had 3 adults and two teens and had plenty of space. The apartment looked newly renovated and the description of the property was very good. We did not use the kitchen other than the fridge to store a few drinks so I can’t speak for the kitchen much. Beds were comfortable and clean. Overall, we had a positive experience. There was no ac but several large windows with a fan. It may be nice to add another fan for the other room with beds. We had no issues getting the keys but some issues getting the key to unlock the outside door to the building. We had to mess with the lock for a few min to get it to turn.
• Ammar (8/5): Apartments Landstuhl, I found the property to be conveniently located for my needs and well-equipped with essential amen - I particularly appreciated the property's convenient location in relation to my work, as well as its provision of essential amenities such as utensils, washer & dryer, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV. These features made my stay comfortable and convenient. I was disappointed with a few aspects of the property. The dishwasher had significant mold in a few spots, and there was a rotten stinky spill in the fridge, pictures available upon request. Furthermore, the couch could benefit from freshening up as it had a slight smell. Additionally, the laundry dryer was leaking water onto the floor, and there were limited supplies of toilet paper available. These issues affected the overall comfort and convenience of my stay.

Wished the Sanders Cafe opened earlier than 9 so that we could have taken advantage of their breakfast. location good if want to be in or near landstuhl but the street outside was loud throughout the night with car noises and some people noise. Had to have windows open because it was warm when we were there but closed them in the middle of the night which did help with the sound. Did not have a lot of shampoo available. We were 5 people and did not bring shampoo with us since most of our hotels had shampoo. shower slow to drain but I did fix it after removing a hairballl (not ours).
• Wilhelmus (6/5): Never again - Location in Landstuhl but there are better and cheaper options. The entrance was a dump. Stank and lots of empty boxes before you can enter the apartment. Furthermore, booking advertising said there is a balcony. Not at this apartment number 6. Also, you couldn’t open a window because of the noise and smell from the restaurant below. The kitchen was complete but didn’t look clean. No privacy because people renting apartments with balcony could always look into the living room. Would not recommend this apartment number 6.

• John (6/5): Overprised, not clean, and careless property msnagement. - Location. Very close to the train station. Kitchen wasn’t clean and property needs some upgrades for the price they charge. Wine glasses were dirty. Spider nets were on the dining furniture. Didn’t have wine opener. When I contacted property manager the answer was - we cannot provide you. We left headphones and property management didn’t tell us till we contacted them. When we came to pick headphones from the property, headphones were gone. They provided phone number but nobody picked the phone. Based on their response they do not care much about customers.
• David (7/5): Great option in Landstuhl, could use some improved QC. - The location is right on the main street in Landstuhl. Easy access to train station, restaurants, local trails, etc. The place has been modernized at some point, so looks nice style-wise. Access was easy by lock box key. Parking on the street was easy and free, just have to move the car during the day. Balcony is a nice perk for fresh air and nice views. Staff was responsive and helpful. The apartment has plenty of space! Entry is through a hallway shared by a restaurant, so the passage was partly blocked by stacks of crates. Kitchen equipment needs to be checked. There were only two glasses and two coffee mugs; also one of the main cupboards was jammed shut and broken when we arrived so we didn't have access to a lot of the kitchen equipment located in that cupboard. We let the staff know and they appreciated the feedback. The place was generally clean, but things like splash marks on stainless cupboard surfaces were apparent. The turnover staff should have noticed the broken cupboard (the door was resting on the floor), and it seems an inventory isnt regularly done, resulting in the lack of drinking glasses. It is a good option to stay in Landstuhl overall! Just needs some improved quality control.

Wish it had closer parking but I am familiar with the area so found a place with sufficient parking.

• Rini (9/5): If we were to come back to Landstuhl we would definitely stay there again. - We really loved pretty much everything about the apartment. It was so spacious for our party of 5. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as was the bathroom and laundry room. The Sanders Cafe was wonderful! The staff there were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! One of our guests seemed to be allergic to something in the beds so she slept on the couch and felt better. The only other minor issue was that since the apartment was on a main street, it was a bit noisy with car traffic and people traffic.
• Kyle (5/5): Nice apartment, but needs some improvements. - It was a large apartment in a location with easy access to some very nice hiking trails. Being right above a breakfast café of the same name is very convenient. Going down for breakfast was easy and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues during this stay. First, there were no check-in instructions when I arrived, and there was no one present at the property. No one answered the phone when I called and it took quite a while for anyone to respond to a message. So I was stuck standing on the street with my suitcase with no way to enter the building at 2130 at night. The apartment was quite dirty. Large dust balls all over the floor in the bedroom, trash on the floor, opened food in the refrigerator, dirty toilet, and used soap in the shower. Being charged a 40 Euro cleaning fee and coming into a dirty apartment was not enjoyable. Overall, it's a fine apartment, but there are several areas of improvement that are needed. Because of the condition of the apartment and the difficulty I had accessing the apartment, I would not stay there again.

The view from the balcony was amazing with a beautiful sunrise and sunset every day. The location was great as I was able to walk to the base hospital daily and then walkable activities as well. Not a thing I could say was bad a out the property
