• Emma (10/5): Well equipped, warm comfortable cottage in wonderful location between several beaches. - Kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The location was great, sea view and a lovely pub opposite, and coffee shops nearby. The instructions were clear & hosts communicating was great. A footstool would be great but other than that slight improvement there was nothing we didn’t like!

Fantastic location - Cullercoats has everything you would need, also brilliant for exploring the area, being 5 mins walk to the Metro and 20 mins walk to both Tynemouth and Whitley Bay. Comfy and very well equipped cottage, safe and easy parking. A bustling place but quiet at night. Sea view is a huge bonus.

• Jackie (9/5): Quick break in top class accommodation - Lovely property in centre of Cullercoats very close to the beaches. Accommodation was beautiful, very tastefully done with underfloor heating, quality bedding, lovely decor. Looked like new. We only stayed 2 nights so hard to find fault. I'd warn dog owners that beach access is restricted May to September. One beach is all banned, the other two have areas requiring leads or banned. We worked it out! Shame though as dogs love a run.

The hosts were very helpful before we arrived and had thought of everything. Made the holiday really relaxing for us.

• Daniel (10/5): Absolutely ideal property for a beach holiday at Cullercoats. - Positioned right at the coast, the location could not be better. Cullercoats beach, a pub and some lovely cafes just a 2 minute stroll away. Sea views from the front windows. A nice small sunny back yard. Beautifully furnished and a well stocked kitchen makes it feel more home from home than a rental property. It’s ideal for a small party of 4 (plus small child?). Shame we usually come with a bigger party so can’t use it more.

• Nicole (10/5): Great cottage by the sea - We had a great holiday at the cottage. Its location is excellent—from the living room and front bedroom, we could see the sea. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away. It was a great base for exploring both the coast and Newcastle. The cottage was clean and very well presented, with good kitchen facilities. The Hosts (Luxe Holiday Stays) were very helpful. They even posted back a possession we accidentally left behind. Nothing - everything was great.
