Guest Reviews
- Chris (8/5): Comfy home in quiet neighborhood - Property was spacious, plenty of parking, comfy couch and beds. Lots of towels. Super quiet. The exterior could use some upkeep for better street appeal, and could have used more utensils in the kitchen. Home is in a neighborhood away from restaurants and stores, etc...but Fairbanks is relatively small so easy to drive to wherever you need to go.
- tanuvasa (10/5): Family approved stay! Very clean and beautiful! - Amazing stay. Very comfortable and affordable too! Loved how each room at a smart Tv installed! It was so hot I wish there were more fans.
- Scott (9/5): We had to leave early because of the fires and we sould have preferred to have stayed. - The beds were very comfortable. My main complaint was that someone mowed the lawn early in the morning on our first morning we were there. See above.
- Kenneth (9/5): Very comfortable, quiet and pleasant. - Very quiet, yet close to the airport , which was much appreciated since we’d had 24 hours of storms, delays, missed connections. We were grateful for the breakfast items and cooking supplies left for us. It was perfect for us.
- Amy (8/5): Met our needs without being luxurious! outward appearances do not match interiors! :-) Go for it! - I liked the proximity to the airport and to the downtown area. I liked that with 3 people we had our own rooms and were able to spread out a little bit. This property did not have black out shades! Yes, we did come in the summer when the sun does not set for more than 2 hours and it really is not dark at all. The mini blinds did not do the trick! I suggest that they have black out shades or heavy pieces of fabric over to block out the light. Bring your eye masks! :-)
- Girl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raymond (7/5): Good - That the bathrooms were connected and only one shower. I thought we had two separate bathrooms.
- Ibrahim (7/5): Good - Clean and comfortable Located in a rough part of town. Didn’t feel safe.
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kanisha (10/5): I’ve stayed before but I love it every time I’m always so comfortable here and it’s a great part of town love this place - Great quiet place plenty of space would recommend it to anybody visiting here
- Carol (5/5): Clean place but in a rough neighborhood. - It was nice inside and clean. It was in a rougher neighborhood than we normally enjoy.
- Nath (4/5): OK for single travelers, not for families and too expensive for the amenities. - I could find this property easily on booking.com, host/property manager was responsive and reachable on phone / text whenever I needed to speak to him. The kitchen had many items -- cooking oil, etc. The property is advertised as 2 bathroom but it's really 1.5 bathroom. The prop mgr enabled us to use the bathroom in the unit upstairs for one day. However, we did not get any refund or anything for the second day. Also, the bedrooms downstairs are very shabby, unit is smelly. There are no curtains and the blinds are very poor, they don't block any light. It was very difficult to sleep at night as there was constant light falling on our eyes.
- Edwin (10/5): Enjoyed our stay in Fairbanks - We all had a great time. Owners are the best! A few items are dated but still work well.
- Rabie (10/5): Cool place - Everything Nothing
- Patricia (8/5): The apartment is very comfortable and is a fair value for the price but it should be cleaner! - It has goo location , it is comfortable, it has all the necessary! The host always reply fast and answer all the questions! The bathroom was not clean, the shower curtain was dirty with mold, some glasses in the kitchen were dirty also.
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and spacious. Great host.
- Ngaire (10/5): Very comfortable apartment that suited us well for our 2 nights in Fairbanks. - Beds were very comfy and sheets and pillows were deluxe! The host was quick to respond to our requests and kindly stored our luggage for us while we waited for a midnight flight to depart. Nothing- everything was great!
- Mechell (10/5): We had an amazing , awesome trip loved every minute , didn't want to come home . - The location was great easy to get to everything we done , wasn't far from town . We would stay there again. It was cozy just like home .
- Sanjay (3/5): Not a good experience - Liked nothing but did not like:
No lights at the entrance
Bad driveway
Hard to see the number at night
Poor mattress
Nothing to watch on the tv
Demands cash payment. Cash I did not have
- Michael (9/5): Well appointed and conveniently located - Nicely decorated and clean. Very comfortable. Upstairs guests we’re pretty noisy late at night.
- Khazanov (9/5): Superb -
- Hyland (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Comfortable and good value. - Great location near a large playground, friendly staff and just all around a great host! Would highly recommend! I had a hard time figuring out the door at first, but that's actually a good thing for security purposes.

- Vilia (10/5): I would have liked to stay longer, it felt like home! - Beautiful surroundings, quiet, very comfortable and the washer and dryer were a plus!
- Sandeep (7/5): Good -
- Benjamin (9/5): Nice homey and comfortable place for a family to stay. - Very nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked. Easy to get in and out. Really appreciated being able to use the washer/dryer. We were there at the hottest time and the room air conditioner unit wasn’t enough for the whole house. But I’m sure it’s not needed much of the year. It would’ve been nice to have fans.
- Todd (10/5): It was a short stay. It exceeded my expectations - Convenience and comfort. Price was extremely reasonable. It was all good
- Onya (10/5): Quiet 3-bedroom apartment. Convenient location. - Beautiful and spacious, quiet location. Modern. Convenient, and had a playground within walking distance. Easy parking.
- Angel (10/5): Nice apartment and very clean - Big place with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Washing machine and dryer was a plus in our case. Very nice place to stay in family No restaurants/shops nearby
- Anonymous (10/5): Great location time well spent thank you - It was spacious had a lot of room clean host contacted us and worked with me and my husband and our in laws close to everything communication skills were fantastic No paper towels
- Mucia (4/5): Not what we expected. - It was a place to rest and sleep, that’s all there was to like about it. It was remotely located and could use upgrades.
- Pam (9/5): Great! - Comfortable beds, new and clean, fully stocked kitchen
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (9/5): Awesome room with everything you need to have a wonderful stay - The room was well equipped with all that you need to have a comfortable stay. The place was clean and very cozy…highly recommend this place Nothing…awesome stay!
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfortable and close to everything. Nothing
- V.ku (9/5): Superb - Great living area, kitchen. We had a problem with the washing machine but the owner promised to fix it. The mosquito nets on the windows should also be fixed. The door between the toilets only locks on one side.
- Christopher (5/5): Once you get in, most things are ok - So just that you know how you get to this apartment it is locked by a passphrase so you need to get your passphrase sent by email before you get to the apartment. Always check that you have this information before you proceed. In my case I thank the owner for the trust he gave us to send the passphrase before we actually have payed for the apartment. Once we got in, we got what was advertised and could even make 2 bathrooms for the two bedrooms. So, as said we had some problems getting into the apartment because we did not have the passphrase. So we needed to do a 10 minute drive to a public internet and then drive back. For us it was completely unclear whether we meet the owner at the address or whether there is a passphrase. Once we got in, two major problems and one minor occured. First thing was there was only a rest of toilet paper available. Luckily, we always buy toilet paper for our trip so we went back to the car and solved the problem on our cost. Second problem was that you could not really darken the room. This is important because in early summer there will be no natural darkness. I hope owner will invest 200$ to install some better curtains to fix that. Third problem was payment: We could not pay over this platform so we wen't back and forth for an alternative. Check that before you get yourself to the apartment.
- Jill (8/5): I would stay at this unit again. - Location was great, easy to get anywhere in Fairbanks. Comfortable queen and king size beds. Unit was clean, Large room size.
Lower unit was only four steps so it was easy for a family member that had some mobility limitations.
Owner was responsive to requests or inquiries that I had. I am from the Midwest and am not used to 20 hours of daylight. So, I had trouble sleeping without blackout shades. I brought an eye mask which helped me out.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Derek (8/5): Great value and central location for downtown and shopping excursions. Quiet neighborhood was a bonu - The location was excellent for all of the shopping n College Ave and downtown. Very clean and with adequate dishes and cooking supplies for use. Only 1 and a half bathrooms, hard with a group of 6. Just enough towels for 6 people, no spares when the ladies use an extra for their hair!
- Sandra (1/5): Bad - They wouldn't show me the place before showing it to me so I declined to.stay I was outside and in a bad part of town NEVER AGAIN
- Pablo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was as it was supposed to be comfortable relaxed neat n quiet will stay here again with family if available awesome and beautiful place
- White (7/5): 5 adults- 4 nights stay - 1. We like that the accommodation is only 10 mins from airport.
2. The owner is very responsive and replied to messages very fast.
3. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, pot and pans and cups.
4. The washing machine is easy to use and the washing comes with capsules. 1. We didn't realise that this accommodation only comes with 1 shower with toilet and another toilet. We 5 adults have to queue to use the shower.
2.No mirrors in the house other than in toilets.
3. The property is located in the basement while the upper floor is occupied by the owner's son which on 2 mornings we were awaken by heavy foot steps walking around above us.
4. The property was advertised as newly renovated but upon checkin, we saw 1 of the kitchen cupboard was already gone (refer to pic)
