Guest Reviews
- Andrew (10/5): Nice affordable spot. - Affordable and in a great location. Nicely stocked. Comfortable. Sam was exceedingly pleasant. No parking.
- Leighton (3/5): Very disappointed. - There is a large kitchen and an adequate sized bathroom. There is a large back porch area off the back of the apartment. The bed was comfortable with regard to the mattress ( however, it had an adequate bedding is there was only one thin blanket). This apartment is simply not ready for prime time. When booking an apartment with the kitchen one expects the kitchen to be at least adequately stopped. There was very little in this kitchen. There were some dishes for eating and a couple of pans for using the stove rather low quality, there was nothing for using the oven not even a simple baking sheet. There were no potholders. There were no knives for preparing food spoons or other items for preparing food such as mixing bowls or even a bowl for salad. No spices, such as salt or pepper. There was some silverware just thrown into a drawer on top of an old towel. There are one or two old hand towels, one of which was torn and stained, there was an adequate amount of dish soap and other cleaning supplies and there is a working dishwasher although it is quite old and is extremely loud when it runs. The combination room bedroom area is quite small. The bedroom was quite comfortable. There is a small couch placed right at the end of the bed and it is almost unusable because it is small and quite uncomfortable, the television was quite nice and worked very well worked very well. We only had hot water on our first day after that there was no hot water and it wasn’t able to be fixed before we ended our stay several days later. The manager did offer us passes to take a shower at a fitness center, we use the washer and dryer the basement of the building and the dryer ended up shredding. Some of our clothing was quite unfortunate. It ruined several pieces of our clothing. The apartment also was not adequately clean. I had to scrub the bathtub the first day I was there in order to use it in the tiling is and the plate the carpet is not look or smell clean. The bed was made up only with sheets. I was eventually able to find one blanket inside the closet, which was quite thin.
In short, we spent a five days there without hot water.
- Leighton (4/5): This place not up to standards. - The kitchen area was large. There was very little in the kitchen or apartment to make it usable. There were some dishes and silverware. No cooking utensils, knives, baking sheets or other pans for the oven. No potholders or oven mitts. There were 2 hand towels in the kitchen, torn and with stains. The silverware was just in the drawer without a divider. There was a very small closet but it was unusable because there were no coat hangers at all and no hooks for hanging coats etc. The bed was quite comfortable. There were only sheets and pillow cases on the bed when we arrived. We located one thin slightly stained blanket in the closet.
The level of cleanliness was not good. I had to clean the bathtub to use it the first day. The carpet doesn’t look or smell clean .
During our stay the hot water stopped working after the first day. The manager did call a plumber. Unfortunately the problem could not be resolved while we were there. This meant that we had no hot water for showers for all but the first day of our stay. The manager did offer to provide us passes to a fitness center so that we could shower.
