• Jacqueline (8/5): Nice flat in a great location - Location was perfect. And it was easy to find and very clean. We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Unfortunately the shower pressure was too weak to really bother with.

• Moyo (8/5): - Cozy apartment, very cute and comfy, convenient location walking distance to the attractions, restaurants, etc Not the fault of the apartment, nearby clock chimes through the night, every hour, so wakes you up if you're a light sleeper.
• Woods (7/5): - Ideal location, lovely comfortable bed, quiet. Navigating bins outside entrance. The entrance looked a bit untidy. The bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from previous guests. Some of the kitchen cupboard doors had dirty marks on them

• Katie (7/5): - The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped and very central as well as being close to bus station. Victoria, the owner was very helpful and provided very clear instructions on getting in to the property. Unfortunately, no fault of the owner, but the location of the property and thin windows meant that we didn’t sleep well due to loud groups of people on the street outside in the early hours of the morning every night of our stay. This of course isn’t a fault of the owner but something to bear in mind if staying in central Alnwick and you want a peaceful nights sleep.
• Maureen (8/5): Lovely property would definitely stay again. - Great location, lovely property, perfect for a few days away. Just a minor gripe, plastic toilet seat is a no no from me, however it would not deter me from staying here again.

• H Ruth (7/5): Central location, near chiming town clock (!), comfy and clean - The location was excellent, very central to Alnwick although the apartment is right near the town clock which chimes every 15 mins, including through the night! I couldn't get the heater to work in the main room so I was cold during the evening. The heaters in the other rooms came on but not in the main room. As it was Dec 22nd, reliable heating was needed.

• Sandra (8/5): Great central apartment with all you need for a couple of nights - Great central position, clean and comfy with everything needed for a couple of nights stay. It was cold on arrival, all radiators were switched off and it took an hour or so to heat it to a reasonable level. I would expect the heating to be on for arrival in December.

• Lisa Joanne (9/5): Hidden Gem - Everything. The location right in the middle of Alnwick, the communication from the host for self check in, the comfy apartment.... The only thing if I had to be picky... Someone in another apartment kept leaving the coded main gate open and the front door off the latch. This is obviously down to one individual and your own apartment door has locks, so we still felt perfectly safe.

It was absolutely freezing,it took us all night to warm the place up,it was that cold we had to sit with our coats on . I would really recommend this time of year making sure heating was on . Just a couple of little things that lamp in the living room are really bright and could do with another little table to put drinks on while watching TV.

• Philip (7/5): An enjoyable stay in a good central location. - Breakfast was not part of our stay. The apartment was nicely fitted out Kitchen a little small. No toilet brush and no recycling facilities. A toilet brush and a recycling bin labelled next to waste bin. Often the door to the outside was left on the latch and the gate was left wide open so security wasn't great but that may be something that's beyond the owner's control.
• Martin (10/5): Great stay in Alnwick. - Great central position near the castle. Within 50 metres there were 2 of the best restaurants you can find with lovely Asian cuisine (SherKhan) in one and a steak house pub/ restaurant ( The Market Tavern) and one of the best steaks we have ever had (in 71 years ). Handy base to get to places like The Farne Islands, Beamish and Newcastle . We spent 4 nights there . Nice kitchen if you need it. Exceptionally clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. A Morrisons just around the corner. You can park right outside from 4 pm and 10.00 am for free .

• Naseer (10/5): A fabulous stay in the most luxurious appartment - Eveything was simply greaf. The location of the gorgeous appartment is amazing as many restaurants and grocery shops are just nearby. The tourist attaction places are also on minutes of walking distance Nothing to complain

• Peter (7/5): Alnwick center apartment - Perfect location for a Saturday and Sunday night stay. Well situated for short and long stay parking, right in the centre of town. Plenty of facilities in the flat for making tea/coffee/food etc. The keypad entrance gate did give a secure feel to the place. A really nice bathroom/toilet and an electric shower. Good WiFi. Smart TV to hook up to our Netflix account, although there wasn't any Terrestrial TV this was not an issue for us. Cobwebs around the bedroom walls/ceiling, the room decor was very dated and badly painted, especially the main wall opposite the bed where a paint roller has been run over and patched or covered something but the paint isn't even matched! The bedroom curtains didn't block much of the daylight/street light but did offer privacy. Also in the bedroom, we presumed not part of the decor, was a very full vacuum cleaner next to the hot water tank cupboard... not a great look first thing on a morning. The Wardrobe had lots of stuff stored behind it, and a large fan on top of it, which made it look like a dumping area due to the lack of storage space in the apartment.

• Steven (8/5): Loved my stay, I’ll be back. - Spotless well kept property right in the centre of Alnwick, god knows how Victoria manages to keep those light carpets spotless. Yea and coffee was a nice surprise. Photos don’t do it justice as they look a bit twee, wasn’t the case. Defo will be back, thanks Victoria. Downstairs entry door left open all the time.

• John (7/5): Location Great, Flat spotlessly clean and comfortable, but couldn't stay again so close to the Bells - Very impressed by the spotless nature of the property and the lush carpets throughout. Location for eating and drinking was excellent too. Unfortunately the bells ringing every 15 minutes all during the night from the Town Hall/Alnwick gallery meant I didn't get a good nights sleep. despite the bed itself being comfortable.

I stayed on a Fri & Saturday so it was very noisy as next door to a pub, lots of noise/shouting from people standing outside smoking etc till early hours of morning.

Very poor soundproofing from outside and the flat upstairs. The wooden kitchen utensils were perfumed (? from some cleaning products) which leached into our food making it inedible. Attention to finer details

The flat needs a mat by the front door to save the carpet when it rains. There were no tea towels or dish drainer. The bedroom window rattled in the wind. Needs a non slip mat in the bath when using the shower. No coffee table for second person - not good to put mugs of liquids on new carpet

• Elizabeth (8/5): Great location in a clean, modern apartment - Super convenient location in the centre of the town, close to shops, restaurants and attractions. Recently refurbished with new carpets, kitchen and bathroom. First floor flat with main room views over Fenkle Street. Easy to get a parking spot on the disk parking cobbles outside, but car had to be moved by 10 am each morning - plenty of all day parking by the castle or Ratten Row.
• Michael (7/5): Nice little apartment in Alnwick - Location was fantastic in Alnwick. Easy to find and get in. Generally comfortable eg. bed sofas etc. Kitchen well equipped. No welcome/leaving pack and instructions for water heater etc. Seemingly no heating in main living area. It was quite cold despite being August. Some of the crockery/cutlery was not very clean.
