• Brett (9/5): - Location is great for an easy walk into the City Walls as well as a host of pubs, restaurant's and site seeing.
• Janet (6/5): The host was really helpful and went out of his way to solve the issues. The location and price was a good combination. - The location was very good, and the host was very attentive. The beds were comfy and the location was fab (and it was all accessible by lifts). My mum struggled with the shower in the en-suite (but I am not sure if that was her?), and the loo brush was broken. Access was via a secure garage, and there were issues getting into the garage. Previous guests had broken the table, and the internet TV had no domestic channels and required my logins ( which I hadn’t expected). When we arrived ( in Nov ) the Juliet balcony was open, making the apartment cold, and unsecured. The big doors in the lounge would benefit from a voile /film of some sort as it did feel a bit overlooked.

• Sarah (7/5): Great stay but the smaller things mentioned about be would make it somewhere we would look at returning to. - Location was good. Communication with host was good. Calling the phone number to gain access to the car park didn’t work - luckily we were there when the cleaner was leaving and she assisted. It is not clear which WiFi you connect to - the WiFi box is hidden in the cupboard - There is no welcome pack with this information. There are no mirrors apart from in the bathrooms for getting ready - the mirrors in the bathroom steam up and take forever to clear. There are no curtains in the living room, despite offering a sofa bed. There were only 5 tv channels. Being only 1 key fob, made it difficult if out in separate groups.
• Linda (10/5): Was a great place to relax after a day visiting the sights of York. - The apartment had everything needed and more for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was very clean and safe place to stay. The extra things like tea coffee and sugar was appreciated as well as the shower gel shampoo and conditioner. I could wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants a trip to York. There is nothing to dislike about the property.

• Ian (8/5): Good. - Limited clothes space. No place to put clothes in bathroom. No food storage in kitchen. Could only get a few news programmes on TV apart from a film, this may be our limited knowledge. Of how to operate these things. These are small things but make a difference. Some leaflets on site seeing would have been helpful.obviously internet available but sometimes easy just to see a leaflet in front of you. Probably an age thing!

• Bauer (7/5): - Man ist sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Großer Pluspunkt ist ein kostenloser Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage. Erklärungen, wie man an die Schlüssel kommt ect. sehr gut, auch sonst schnelle Kommunikation. Ein Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad, ein zweites Bad vom Wohnzimmer aus. Wir haben zu fünft gebucht, meine Tochter hat auf einer Klappcouch im Wohnzimmer geschlafen. Es ging für sie, weil sie klein ist. Große Menschen passen nicht auf die Couch. Außerdem kann man das Wohnzimmer nicht verdunkeln. Es gibt auch keinen fünften Stuhl für den Esstisch. Zu viert alles kein Problem.
• TheNorfolkPirlo (8/5): Fantastic Option - We were a group of 5 who met up in York for a reunion. The accommodation is excellent value for money. Clean and modern, the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well presented. The living room is a great area to relax and catch up. The location is great, it's about a 10 minute walk into York centre, opposite the apartment block is a Costa Coffee and an Asda, there's also a couple of really good cafes nearby. Communication with the host was good, no issues, hassle free stay. Parking space within the complex is a massive bonus. On arrival, instructions state to call a number for access into the underground parking area. This didn't work for us, and we were let in by resident instead. There was also information to put a parking permit (that would be placed on the table in the apartment) in the car, but that permit wasn't there. Perhaps updating the arrival instructions would help. Main issue (mentioned in other reviews) is that the third bedroom or bed 5/6 is also the living room. The drop down sofa bed isn't the most comfortable (fine for a couple of nights) however there are not any blinds or curtains. This means, especially in summer, that the room is light, very early. Not a deal breaker for us, but can imagine it being an issue for others. Even with the above points raised, for the price, this is a great option for a place to stay, it was pretty much half the price of 3 hotel rooms, so we would definitely consider staying there again.
• louisa (9/5): Wonderful stay - Had a wonderful 3 night stay at this apartment, the communication with the owner was brilliant if we needed to sort anything. Beautiful apartment in a really good location close to everything you need. The facilities and extras in the apartment are great. Beds are so comfortable so we had a really good sleep! Added parking is a massive bonus and very easy to access the basement level parking. Thankyou we would definitely come back 😊 The sofa wasnt very comfortable we found but we padded it out with the extra pillows and duvets in the cupboard which solved the problem for us enough to get comfortable. Would definitely recommend a new sofa or new padding for it 😊

• Glen (8/5): - Well equipped, very clean, onsite parking, great location. Host friendly and professional. Excellent service. Darker curtains in the bedroom and in the lounge would have enabled a better sleeping experience. Sofa bed in the lounge could have been better, was a little basic.

Spacious apartment No blinds in living room which is supposed to sleep the fifth guest, the badly signed entrance to the underground car park, only one fob, no instructions for appliances, lack of response from owner, the breakdown of the one lift making difficulties fir my disabled father.

• Nicola (7/5): Nice thanks - Location Returned keys but then couldn’t get out of garage without a key. Rang number to have gate opened and it hung up on me. Had to retirieve keys go back through the main entrance hall and get someone to stand by the door so that it didn’t lock me in again. Hard to get to lock box as a car was parked next to it leaving 6 inches of space only!

He was very helpful when we had a slight glitch with the car park gate not opening. However the parking is easy to find, very secure and under cover which is reassuring. The location is perfect and walkable to town.

• Brenda (10/5): B's Bday weekend to York - Perfect in every way. Not too far from city centre, very modern and clean. Met our expectations and more. We would definitely return. Issue with connecting to WiFi but was rectified.
• Megan (10/5): Excellent. - The apartment was clean and spacious. There were already things like washing up liquid and washing tablets which were helpful. Everything about the apartment was perfect. The only problem we had was on arrival we couldn’t get in. We found the car park but no one was there to open the garage door, the number I’d been given on email didn’t work to open it and I had no contact information. If it wasn’t for one of the residents we wouldn’t have been able to get in at all.

• Douglas (10/5): A great place to stay in central York - Extremely clean and chic new apartment just a short walk from the centre of York. The basement car park was a great bonus and the gym was very new and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Plenty of lovely towels. The en-suite was missing soap.

• James (10/5): Perfect spot for visiting York - I stayed here overnight with friends, visiting for a concert. The apartment itself was immaculately clean. Two bathrooms for four guests meant it was very easy to get ready. The location is perfect, just on the edge of town, so you are close enough to walk into the centre, but just far enough away to be away from too much late night noise. The bedrooms can be set up as queens or twins. The beds were extremely comfy, so it's a good job we didn't have to check out until 11am. Parking couldn't have been easier, underneath the building, and very secure. I will definitely be back. Thanks. James.
