Guest Reviews
- Guest (5/5): The bedroom was clean & tidy - Great location The staircase as you went in was really grim & dirty, also quite noisy people walking about late night early morning!
- Bozhidar (6/5): -
- Eleonora (2/5): Non consiglio - Niente. La stanza con un odore di stantio e finestra piccola e in alto che non si può aprire. Rumorosa e bagno non era pulito. Non sono riuscita a dormire e ho fatto il check out un giorno prima.
- Alessandra (8/5): -
- Leszek (1/5): - There was no window in my room, only a small vent at the top, behind which there was some kind of passage behind the wall. A man was sleeping and I could hear him snoring all night long.
- Berry (1/5): No response from owner. - Nothing on this trip, previously the room has been fine. No response at all when I said I couldn't make the reservation, not even acknowledgment.
- Matt (6/5): - Comfortable bed and pillows, good location Very very hot in summer, there is a fan but the rooms only window is very high up and can’t be reached, I’d book again in the cooler months but not peak summer
- .Maciej G. (9/5): Idealne miejsce na krótki pobyt blisko samego Centrum - Znakomita lokalizacja w centrum, dużo sklepów, pubów w pobliżu, wygodny pokój, czysto, dodatkowo serwisy streamingowe na projektorze. Na krótki pobyt idealny nocleg. Łazienka niezbyt komfortowa, cena oczywiście dość wygórowana, ale to w końcu Londyn.
- Giuseppe (5/5): -
- Abel (8/5): - El barrio era muy bonito y la cama era cómoda. Además del detalle del microondas y el frigo El regulador de temperatura de la ducha no funcionaba y solo salía agua muy caliente.
- Mykyta (7/5): Clean and comfortable room with useful amenities, good location near Brick Lane. - A clean and comfortable stay near Brick Lane
The room and bathroom were both very clean and tidy. I appreciated the complimentary shower gels and shampoos — a thoughtful touch for light travelers. It can get quite hot in the summer, but thankfully there’s a fan to help cool things down. I didn’t get a chance to try the projector, but it looked like a fun addition! The location is ok, but the highlight is definitely how close it is to Brick Lane — a great area to explore. Shower temperature issue
Unfortunately, the water in the shower was boiling hot and I couldn’t use it. The temperature adjuster didn’t seem to work properly — if anything, it only made the water hotter.
- Salvador (9/5): Good stay for a night or two any more than 3-4 nights you will need more ammentities. - Good location. Pretty stuffy in there, ventilation was poor but overall decent for the price.
- Camryn (8/5): Very good - Bathroom had no toilet paper, shower and bathroom were a little old and needed a bit of an update/fix, but the place did the job for the night !
- Finn (8/5): Very good - Very convenient for me, located both near the tube and by where I needed to head to.
Instructions to access the room were clear and there was no faff.
- Kaplan (8/5): Value for money - Descriptions to reach place was clear, room and shared bathroom was clean. Projector has an access to Netdlix you dont need to set up anything. Refrigirator was working well.
- Fernando (7/5): Good for short stays - The location is very good. There are bars and restaurants nearby. It is quite a lively area.
The accommodation is fine for one night or if you are away all day. Surprisingly the room has a very cool cinema projector. The room has no windows and the accommodation is very simple. The bathroom was not very clean, but that's the thing about being shared
- James (1/5): Bad - Leaving the property All of it conditions were awful and dangerous with screws exposed pointing out of the floor
- Jack (9/5): Superb -
- Eleri (1/5): Do not stay here!! - Broken wires in the corridor to the flat.
Extremely steep stairs to access the flat.
Shared bathroom was dirty with hair in the shower.
Door to our room was extremely thin (like polystyrene) so we could hear all other guests coming and going. The other guests came in at 3am and were running the corridors until 7am. We barely slept due to the noise.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable.
As a female I didn’t feel safe - especially when I walked in on 2 guests in the bathroom together (they had not locked the door).
There’s a mini fridge in the bedroom which kept on making noises throughout the night.
No plug on the left side of the bed as it was taken by the fridge.
We were meant to stay here for 2 nights but after the first night I was so upset we had to move to a different hotel.
- Vendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yves (6/5): Pleasant - Reasonably easy access to the main road and local amenities, room 2 was spacious and well furnished with wif-fi and a cool looking projecter (didn't have the time to check out). Shared spacious bathroom Unfortunately access to the kitchen area seemed off limits although there was a microwave and fridge in the room. The window didn't have any blinds which was an issue and the upstairs neighbour had a rather boisterous dog! Always take earplugs just in case
- Margherita (8/5): Very good -
- Souhila (9/5): Superb -
- Juan (9/5): Superb - I chose this location because it had the best reviews in the area and it didn't disappoint. For the money, what you get is perfect and they have everything systemized already so things go very smoothly. Every morning I had coffee across the street and then ventured around to explore the city. The neighborhood is super connected with even a direct shuttle bus to Stanstead within 5 min walk, great markets, shopping, restaurants, and cafes.
- Sheriffdeen (10/5): Satisfactory - Location and closeness to many amenities Cleanliness
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wil (9/5): Superb - Super friendly host. Clean and comf accommodation at a very reasonable price for the location
- Anil (9/5): Superb -
- Natalie (10/5): Hosts were so helpful, accommodating and friendly will definitely be back thank you to sergio & his beautiful wife - We actually requested to be moved to a room
With a window as it was very hot which the host did without any problems both rooms were lovley and clean but definitely prefered the second room which had our own bathroom balcony and a window we had a great stay here. 10/10 to the hosts Nothing we didnt like just the blue bedroom lack of window although the room was really nice and clean
- Ozlem (1/5): Horrible building, the flat is ok. - The entrance to the flat was dirty, scary and not very pleasant. To get the key for the flat, I need to go outside, somewhere near the road sign and get the key.
People in the building looked like drug users and very aggressive. The flat itself was not bad but I wasn't sure about the safety. The door was so flimsy, I regret getting this place but it was only for a day so I put up with it.
- Joshua (7/5): Good - Decent room and reasonable for the price. Room was clean and shared areas were tidy. Not in the most pleasant of locations. Difficult to find too. No ventilation in the room and lots of noise from other guests.
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Price was great and the room clean. Quite noisy but to be fair that was no fault of host
- Mario (8/5): Very good -
- Rachaelmejia (9/5): We had a lovely time during our stay, great value for money.. - It was really good value for money for a long weekend in London and still quite central. Not the fault of the owners, but the other guests were very inconsiderate. Talking loudly on their phone outside our room and in shared areas at 7.30 on a Saturday morning! We wanted a little lie in from work days! Also in the evening they were awake and running up and down the corridor until 1am when I finally had enough and told them to be quiet.
It was a but further from the tube than I had hoped. It might have helped to have and idea of bus numbers to where along that road, but I didn't ask so they may have been able to give me this info. Just an idea, but tea/coffee and milk in the fridge would have been a lovely addition when you get back at the end if the day or first thing in the morning. Thanks for our stay x
- Sumit (8/5): Very good - The host was very polite and good guy The wash room was shared and uncleaned
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Klas (7/5): Close to Brick Lane - Great for a place to sleep. Shared bathroom is always a bummer, but acceptable considering there were only a couple of other rooms sharing it.
- Rhian (9/5): Perfect stay with lovely hosts - Fab location! Lovely hosts who let us check out late and where always checking our stay was going perfect. Extremely good value for money. Really appreciated the projector to watch Netflix ect. Clean and everything we needed! Anyone who struggles to get up steep stairs/has a lot of luggage I would not recommend for you. The property could definitely do with a lamp!
- Virginia (10/5): Lovely and cozy x x x - We liked all! Feedback would be maybe a nice lamb, better bedding.
Very happy though, great location would recommend :)
- Islam (10/5): Exceptional - Room was neat and clean. The staff were excellent and very helpful.
