• Julie (9/5): Lovely place to spend a weekend, hidden in the woods. - The location although remote was idyllic and perfect for our plans to visit Silverstone. The property was perfect for us and our ancient dog. The bed was very comfy, the shower very efficient. Debbie, our host was very friendly. Some kitchen items appeared a bit dated and better washing up products would make cleaning the crockery easier.

• Kim (9/5): A warm, comfortable, stay in a lovely location, with a friendly host. - The door was unlocked when we arrived and the host came over to show us round not long after we got there. Location, comfort, space, facilities iee. double oven, plenty of crockery, cutlery, etc;; heating (underfloor heating) very good. If I had to be picky, one of the saucepans is unusable (I was cooking a Christmas dinner).

• Karin (9/5): Heerlijke complete oase van rust en comfort! - Warme en gezellige cottage, heel compleet ingericht, zelfs kruiden, koffie, suiker, alles was er gewoon. Heerlijk grote handdoeken, zelfs ijsblokjes in de vriezer. Prachtige locatie, prachtige golfbaan in Whittlebury, dichtbij Oxford en leuke kleinere plaatsen. Echt top!

From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a warm hug. Cosy? Absolutely. We wanted for nothing — except maybe an extra day or ten! And the surroundings? Pure magic. Tranquil trails, enchanting woodland, and the kind of silence that makes you forget your phone even exists. Whether you're escaping the hustle or just want to curl up with a book and a brew, The Dog House is the kind of place that makes you wish you could move in permanently. The host was superb as well! 🐶 Verdict: The Dog House is paws-itively perfect.
