• Mike (10/5): Delightful cottage offering a warm welcome in a quiet cul-de-sac with a large parking space - Very clean and homely. Lovely touches in the welcome pack and consumables available. The parking space was perfect - large enough for 2 SUVs. Just be aware there are steep stairs- not a criticism, but some might find them difficult.

• Matthew (10/5): A perfect pre-Christmas break in lovely Beverley. - Very comfortable, cosy and well appointed. Perfect location for exploring the town. The host, Louise, responded promptly to my queries.

• Jill (10/5): A lovely, homely two night stay with high standard decor and resources, close to all local amenities - Really well presented, comfortable & cosy place with plenty of room & well resourced- Loved it! Nothing really, but suggest a brighter light in bedrooms to aid putting on makeup and a small side table / chest of drawers would be useful in rear bedroom for a surface to put bits & pieces on. Minor things which wouldn’t put us off booking again.
• Emily (10/5): fabulous house, host was really nice, we were comfortable and really enjoyed our stay - the ONLY thing that was unexpected, was the minister chimes every 15 minutes, every hour of the day, which was a little rough to sleep through.
• Claire (9/5): A fabulous stay and a great base to attend our son's wedding. - The property had been substantially renovated and was modern, comfortable and had everything one would need for a stay including a welcome array of basic of provisions on arrival. It was a great central location and included a parking bay. The owner was particularly helpful on the morning of our departure, which was also the day of our son's wedding. As it is an older property the stairs are quite steep but there is a good handrail.

• Susan (9/5): Would def come back/recommend, and the location was great - Location, furnishings, very well kept and milk, orange juice, shortbread, tea, coffee and dishwasher tablets were thoughtful touches. Also great communication to let us know how to access etc. oh and the view of the minster from one of the bedrooms The downstairs bathroom and steep stairs (though completely understand this is what to expect in this type/age of property), and the bed wasn’t so comfortable (for us - very subjective). None of that goes close to outweighing the positives though.

• Karen (10/5): Fantastic central location, tastefully de orated and great host. - Fantastic location and nice extra touches like fresh milk in the fridge. Decorated to a very high standard and the host was. Ery responsive and helpful. Nothing! It was great. It does have steep stairs which was a bit of a challenge for my husband but he managed and that is due to the age of the building.

• Barbara (8/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Property was clean, comfortable and quiet. Good location, handy for town centre. Personally I prefer a bath rather than a shower, but no complaints overall.
• Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, right in the heart of the old town. Had never been to Beverley before but it was lovely. We had a great day at the races, and can also recommend the excellent Monks Walk pub, which is very near the house.

A bonus was the parking space which was available some of the time we stayed. The shower and kitchen were both lovely. We would definitely book again. We liked everything about this house.

• Geoffrey (10/5): A warm vibe throughout. - Not applicable. The overall feel was of the property was great. A small item, and the only one. The toilet seat would not stay in a upright position for a male.
• Beverley (10/5): Beautiful comfortable house - This place is so close to the centre yet really quiet. Louise has literally thought of everything it was perfect relaxing stay with my sister and mum. And I've already booked to return.
• Linds (10/5): Kitchen was gorgeous. Appreciated little extras on arrival. Lovely bathroom. Had great time. - Breakfast NA Location was amazing. Close to centre and very quiet. Front door would be more private with a blind to put down at night. Not necessary however. Stairs were incredibly steep. We are both fit for our age but struggled with bags. Might be worth mentioning in description because the elderly would find them extremely difficult especially as there is not upstairs toilet.

• Angela (9/5): Perfect - Having stayed last year at this property it was nice to see that the standard was still excellent. Really good location very walkable close to the centre of Beverley . Parking is a bonus. I would say only one drawback is the bathroom shower room is located through the kitchen and the stairs are extremely steep, so anyone with walking disabilities may find it very hard.

• Caroleen (10/5): A great place to stay. The owner had provided us with everything. Can’t wait to go back. - It was a self catering cottage. Very close to the town and all facilities. The house was beautifully decorated and furnished. There was car parking which is rare being so close to the town centre. Wi-Fi was also available. It was a great house. The stairs are steep and could have been difficult but I coped with coming down backwards.

• Robert (10/5): A great place to stay in a ver pleasant town. - Unassuming exterior, but the house was beautifully and very comfortably furnished and the rooms were larger than they appeared in the photos. Very comfortable beds and sofas. New high spec kitchen and bathroom. We liked all of it!

The kitchen was very well equipped with milk, water and fresh orange juice in the fridge, the 2 settees in the lounge were very comfy and the beds were exceptionally comfy, we slept really well both nights. The bathroom was a good size with a good shower. We have stayed in Beverley a few times and always head the minster bells through the night but not here as the double glazing is almost soundproof. Louise was very approachable and we are looking forward to returning already! There was nothing to dislike.

I would say the Only drawback was the bathroom and toilet were downstairs through the kitchen so if you were a person who needed to go to the toilet through the night the stairs are very steep.

The owner had thought of everything——complimentary toiletries and towels,milk, water and orange juice in the fridge, well stocked kitchen etc. beautiful shower room,very comfy furniture and spacious bedrooms.She obviously has very high standards! The property has its own private parking space too and is only a few minutes walk from Beverley town centre. Nothing at all! Loved everything!

Louise let me know when I could get in which was a lot earlier so was brilliant, I loved it. the only thing was the front door, it had a bit of privacy but would have loved to put a blind down on the night

All things perfect and helpful Zero. Nothing to improve on. This lady has provided a homely feel, to a 2 bed house with 6 star quality. If I could find a problem I would need a microscope. I've worked in world class hotels, thus place is amongst them.
