Pamela (2/5): Accommodation very disappointing compared to photos on Booking.com - The location Agent's staff helpful There were 34 stairs (4 flights) to reach the apartment - didn't see any reference to this in description. I am an elderly lady with a 20kg suitcase so getting to and from the apartment was a dangerous and difficult exercise. Booking.com photos of apartment not a true reflection of the current condition of the accommodation: Maintenance (light hanging from ceiling and extractor fan not working in bathroom) and cleaning poor; clothes airer broken; couldn't get coffee machine to work (and not emptied); cupboard for dishwasher jammed shut; cupboards with etc, etc, etc

Fiona (10/5): Very happy with our accommodation thank you so much - Washing facilities, comfy bed, lots of storage. Perfect location and everything we could need. Host was helpful and instructions to get key clear. Coming into the lobby main entrance downstairs and smelling cigarette smoke it seem to get worse. Some street noise that you got used to
John (1/5): Absolutely no bliss here - Not much. There was a lot of street noise; venetian blinds were dirty and did not stop much street light - no curtains; the lavatory continued to run after flushing; free to air TV did not work; exhaust fans did not work; heater rehostat was broken; some furniture was very worn; the whole place is pretty tired. We booked for 5 nights and left after 2 as a good night's sleep was impossible; approached the unit manager for a refund which was refused. Also 4 flights of steps from street level - not good if you have heavy bags or are elderly. Good luck finding the keys if you arrive after dark.

Kohiti (8/5): Very good - So very convenient to being central in Melbourne for shows, restaurant and transport We were hoping that we could sit outside on window terrace and watch the world go by but widows didn't open safely. The street lights couldn't be blocked out.
