Guest Reviews
- Jinu (6/5): -
- Carmel (2/5): Disappointing - Unfortunately there is not much to say positive about it - general upkeep leaves a lot to be desired No light in main hallway
4 flights of stairs so not good for anyone with mobility issues
Not enough towels crockery or cutlery
Beds extremely uncomfortable
Ripped wallpaper
Issues with Electrics
Ripped rubbish bags on balcony which is also fire escape
General location is not the best
Pictures of property are definitely not recent or accurate
- DENIS (9/5): -
- Rebekah (8/5): -
- Minnie TORRENS (5/5): - Parking was fine. Apartment was spacious. It could have been cleaner. . Bed linen tired and worn.
- Joanne (1/5): Terrible stay well clear of this property - I did not like anything about this property. As soon as you pull up to the front door there are bins overflowing black bags everywhere rubbish all over the front of property. As the taxi driver waited as there was people fighting in the street and also told me it was one of worst streets in Belfast ,as I was on my own with 2 young kids ! As I went in and checked the place I was hit with an awful smell ,the kitchen was dirty crumbs on worktops ,empty bottles half full bottles left! Nothing like the pictures definitely false advertising ! The place was awful dirt everywhere, dirty pillows unsafe ! Same as above . When I contacted the owners saying about everything and that I couldn’t stay there , I had to go get other place to stay a hotel and the owners wouldn’t refund me , asking did I take pictures, I wish I had but the taxi man was waiting for me . I told the owner to go look at the property and she would see exactly what it was like , she also said are cleaners are great ! I said if you think that’s great there is something wrong ! I have just finished my cancer treatment and it was my first time getting away in over a year , which she was also made aware of . The lady wouldn’t give a refund which is awful , am sure you wouldn’t have stayed there with your own kids .The only people be happy to stay there is teenagers wanting a party house for the weekend! Not suitable for family false advertising nothing what it looks like on booking.com . People should not be aloud to do this as this has happened a lot of people not just me and it should not be aloud on booking.com.
- Jake (10/5): -
- Lewis (1/5): Didn’t stay as it was too bad - Nothing. This was the worst place I have booked and didn’t stay it was that bad. We cancelled and booked a hotel instead Property hadn’t been cleaned. There were chips, pet treats and other rubbish still left there. The beds had been made but not cleaned as there was still dried skin on the sheets along with hair in another bed. The outside looked like a slum with rubbish left all over and open bags of rubbish too.
At least one bed was broken and plug sockets were hanging off the wall
- Pauline (9/5): Excellent location, lovely apartment, - Lovely appartment , plenty of room for the group Liked everything about apartment except the amount of rubbish piled up outside, we could believe how much rubbish was everywhere
- Radoslaw (7/5): - Beds for whole family Cold bathroom
- Gracia (8/5): -
- De Freitas (9/5): -
- Andriya (8/5): -
- Stacey (9/5): Very nice clean place - It was warm and cosy lots of space The bed on middle floor was broke on one side which made it uncomfortable to sleep on and the tv was very hit and miss it kept cutting out because of signal.
- Aoife (8/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Great sized apartment - Great sized apartment
- Michael (6/5): -
- Jamie (8/5): -
- Graeme (9/5): Spotless apartment, good value. - Place was spotless. Easy to get to by foot, taxi, bus from city centre. Good value. Minor issue, front door lock was a bit temperamental, a bit of waggling of key to get it to turn.
- Kevin (8/5): - You get a lot of room for 8 people nice wee place
- Michelle (5/5): - As easy to get to. Big and spacious . Catered for all our party so we could stay together and a very good price. When we landed there was heaps of rubbish, bin bags etc on the front step that we had to move. The entrance way wasn’t hovered or cleaned recently. There was cobwebs everywhere and behind the beds hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Was not the place I thought it was .
- Brudge21 (2/5): Not comfortable - The price was decent and sitting room was nice Bathroom and bedroom on the first floor were absolutely freezing
Beds were extremely uncomfortable screws kept falling from the one on the 1st floor.
Kitchen was dirty, no cloths, no bin bags, cracked tiles
No light on top of stairs
With a bit of tlc would get a lot more
- Pamelatttt (6/5): - How comfortable it was It was clean and comfy but the freezer was completely frozen over couldn't fit anything in it
- Darren (10/5): Clean, comfy and very reasonably priced - We have stayed here many times before. Im Amanda and you'll see my reviews below. This is one of the lowest priced accommodations in Belfast yet its superb. We live in county Fermanagh but my mum just lives on the Anteim Road so very handy for us if we want to come visit her and stay. The apartment is clean, well presented and the beds are comfy. Always a bowl of Tayto on arrival too. Can't fault it at all!
- Aljaz Igor Topole (10/5): Big house, a lot of space, everything we needed - We love the space. A lot of rooms to sleep in. Big kitchen, big house. We enjoyed the stay
- Hossain (6/5): - Everything Bed is very bad
- louise (7/5): -
- Hayley (7/5): -
- Jane (3/5): Would avoid at all costs - It had WiFi and plenty of hot water The apartment needs to be renovated. The bathroom smells mouldy, the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen are all loose, the door handle was coming off one of the rooms, the kitchen tap was falling off. The freezer wasn't shut properly and was iced over. The light in the main stair case wasn't working so you couldn't see up the stairs or the lock to get in. The kitchen light is so dim you can barely see what you are doing in there. The mattresses are all worn and uncomfortable and there seemed to be a huge oil strain on the carpet as you walk in. Also the fire escape was blocked with bin bags and there were rats out there.
- Robert (9/5): Great large apartment - Very large apartment, modern furnishings with all you need for a stay away from home.
- Des (1/5): - NOTHING ITS ACTUALLY VERY SAD THIS PERSON IS GETTING AWAY WITH A SCAM. PROPERTY IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE Door is absolutely filthy, nothing like photo. The smell on entering. No light dark hall. Stairs were manging. Large stain on carpet on entering. Horrific mold smell met us coming out of bathroom, its was worst ever it actually made me gag. It got worse the first bedroom was a mass of creases, all bedding worn out. Beds felt so uncomfortable. On taking off pillow case, pillow was yellow and smelly. All bedding was sane. Lights all dimmed to cover dirt, freezer completely frosted over. Kitchen was filthy. Heating didnt work.
There should be a law against these type of properties being rented out, its disgraceful.
It was so bad we put key back and left and drove home to Meath.
I was very surprised Bookings allowing this property on their books
- Willie (6/5): Low Budget friendly - Good location
Spacious No entrance light at top of stairs (pitch black at night).
Floor tiles loose in bathroom and kitchen.
Mushrooms growing out bathroom wall.
Bed broken and held together with bits of wood.
Mattresses in all rooms very uncomfortable (the floor would have been more comfortable)
- Jean-marc (4/5): - Forte odeur de moisi. Lits pas confortables. Une seule lampe de chevet dans deux chambres. Luminaires faibles.
- Tumma (7/5): - Good location and nice apartment. The utensils were not neat and some necessary utensils were missing in the kitchen.
- Imran (1/5): - Very unhygienic bed sheets and pillow case with full of hairs .May be they washed once a month .Beds Very uncomfortable. Beds and bed sheets
- Fayaz (7/5): - Location is just a 10min drive from city centre.
- magdalena (5/5): Overall experience not great - The amount of rooms The apartment cleanliness was not great, beds were very uncomfortable (materacem worn off), duvets and pillows smelled really bad, toilet seat holding on one screw only and not fitting perfectly, which was very awkward. Overall wouldn’t recommend. Far from city center and neighborhood doesn’t look to safe
- Clare (9/5): -
- FERNANDO (7/5): -
- itziar (8/5): - La amplitud La calle nos pareció un poco rara,
- Amanda (4/5): Disappointing -
- Chris (5/5): Passable - The contact that we had was superb, we could contact her via email or by phone and she was always there. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. The property didnt appear to be on the best road. The finish of the tiling in the bathroom and the kitchen wasnt good. The tiles in the kitchen and bathroom moved. The fire escape was blocked by black bags of rubbish. There was only 2 of us, if there were more there wouldnt have been enough cups and bowls.
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dallas (1/5): Death trap that stinks of garbage!! - Nothing Blocked fire escape making the apartment a death trap.
Smell of garbage
No hot water in the kitchen so cannot wash dishes.
Not enough pots or pans or utensils to cook a real meal.
Freezer had old food in it.
Kitchen smelt awful.
None of the bedroom doors close fully.
Very poor lighting in all areas to hide the dirt and many defects.
Broken plugs
Broken toilet
Host is so cheap they don't even supply a toilet brush.
Hole in duvet and stains on the sheets.
Really disgusting place to stay and would never rebook.
No curtains in the lounge so everyone can look in.
Bathroom was very cold.
Up close the bathroom looks like the example you would show in a builders gone wrong expose!
Thick dust on the misshapen paper lampshades.
Dirty!!
- Muireann (8/5): Apartment is perfect, I did not like Belfast. - Apartment, was clean , fully equipped kitchen, lovely sitting room/ lounge area. Very spacious. Keys in lockbox. No issues Far from city center-1.5 miles-usually I like an area outside the city-I love walking, its a great way to see the sights. I guess I felt uneasy, local area felt a little uneasy to me. Nothing at all happened, but I guess I felt uneasy. I think with Belfast I would definitely stay in an area closer to city Centre, especially when I am on my own. Saying that though, the apartment is perfect, fantastic value for money-I would definitely stay there again if staying with other people. I would get taxi's instead of walking.
- Justin (2/5): Easily the worst place I’ve ever booked using Booking.com. - Nothing about this property was nice. 1. sketchy location on a dirty street with people sitting around everywhere and playing in the streets and talking loudly at 10 pm. Noisy and run-down area.
2. dirty carpet and tile. grimy location. trash strewn outside of the firescape exit.
3. weird/dim lighting throughout the house.
We all felt so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving shortly after arriving and booking rooms at the nearby Marriott. Do NOT trust the photos.
I’m gonna request a refund and would never stay here again.
- David (1/5): Stay away - Not much Bed sheets at base of bed were filthy with crumbs etc, if a fire broke out would have been impossible to get out with all the rubbish left on fire escape
- Nick (6/5): Pleasant -
- M (6/5): Belfast bargain - v spacious accommodation. shower had plenty of room. lighting was dim and could do with upgrading the linen
- Rajendra (8/5): Very good -
- Jeovan (9/5): Well located just a few minutes drive away from main tourist attractions and good value for money. - Well located just a few minutes drive away from main tourist attractions and good value for money. Some strange smell in the shower place.
- Claire (4/5): Disappointing - property needs a bit of TLC then would be better - Quirky property with good potential.
First Bedroom was very dusty under the bed., that bed was not comfortable, limited storage space for clothing,
Blinds in the living room were broken so could not be raised, cigarette butt was found on the top of the mirror in hall. Had to empty the toaster before using it and very limited cutlery.
Property was good location and good size though- short taxi ride from centre.
Ideal base for event in city centre.
- Jaime (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (6/5): Pleasant - Good price . Clean . Nice hot shower. Flat warm . Taxi cost £7/8 in to town . So good price . Beds uncomfortable as mattresses very thin . Hairdryer did not fit plug sockets . Had shower gel but no shampoo/ conditioner as advertised in description. Area around flat a bit run down.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (8/5): Great apartment for a weekend in Belfast. Good location for gettting to and from the city. -
- Rblag (10/5): Great stay - Lovely apartment, great location, very clean and great for a large family.
- Ciaran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - We've stayed here often and will again. We've stayed at Christmas twice and it would be a lovely addition if there was a little tree next year. Kids love this house and we appreciate the big master bedroom with room for our two travel cots.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (4/5): Disappointing - The main bedroom was ok, so was the living room and kitchen..... There was no heating on and apartment was baltic when we arrived it was sub zero temperatures last week...the radiator in middle bedroom only heated at the bottom so room was freezing it never heated....also bed very uncomfortable in that room
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (10/5): Had a great stay. The owners were very accommodating -
- Doug (6/5): Pleasant - Good location The apartments were not very clean, we found a used toothbrush on the floor behind the bed, dirty rice in the microwave and half eaten cookie next to the couch
- Moyo (8/5): Very good -
- Bernie (6/5): Pleasant - short stay beds so hard and low
- Haswadi (9/5): Wonderful experience - It was such a lovely stay for my family and
I. We really enjoyed our stay and holiday 🙏🏻❤️ The lights are a bit dim and romantic. May be a brighter light could be beneficial in the kitchen area. Otherwise, we had an amazing stay. Thank you!
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Lovely stay in Belfast - Apartment was clean, warm and welcoming. A hair dryer would have been welcome but this is a small point.
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): We loved it - For the money I paid the property was an absolute bargain. 10 mins from the airport in a taxi, 6mins from the cathedral quarter or 20 minute walk. Excellent
- Lena (8/5): Absolutely spotless clean the mattress on the two spare bedrooms could do with better mattress - Very modern so clean The heaters in living room wouldn’t work and it’s was very cold upstairs heaters where very warm the door handle of the apartment the screws where coming out of it but apart from this excellent stay
- Paulo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jemima (3/5): Really disappointed better to stick to hotels in future - no breakfast, really rough location, dirty rough street bins and rubbish everywhere really loud neighbours up all night.
wouldnt return Really cold house even with heating on all night as no double glazing, oven top hard to use but grill had no grill trays so couldnt even use that.
Hairdryer available but no way of plugging it in as its a 2 prong plug.
Ceiling leaking with water so had to keep buckets underneath and pans to try and catch it all.
Beds not very comfortable either.
Towels provided but one was dirty already.
No flannels provided
- Albert (9/5): Superb -
- Sunnur (7/5): Good - Room size It is ok to stay for few days
- Mjam (7/5): Saturday night stay for sisters getaway - 3 beds
Great living room
Kitchen good too
Good bathroom Outside of the house was not tidy lots of debris photographs taken must have been a good while ago
There are 2 lock boxes for keys we tried the wrong one for ages.
We were given instructions about the heating....it would have been very helpful if we were told there was a power switch for it. It was a white power switch so not the most obvious so it looks like the heating system didn't work.....
Bed linen is very tired mattresses could do with being updated 1 bed the middle one was great for me but they are low beds.
Everything is split over 4 levels and the bathroom is at the bottom level of it all so not mobility friendly. The flat also is at the top of a very steep set of stairs.
We only made tea so didn't cook so can't comment on the use of the kitchen.
There is only a single glazing in this house, it's an old house so it was expected. It has plenty of room for families and parking is right outside the house.
It's a handy location and was great for us for the 1 night for a show in Grand Opera House.
- Jack (1/5): Would not let my dog stay there - Nothing The host, the cleanliness, the whole facility
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - We love this apartment, we've stayed here before. Lovely and clean and spacious as we had to bring two travel cots for our youngest and the big bedroom accommodates these easily. Nothing, I'd go back anytime.
- Anne (7/5): Recommended for group stays. - Its nice and cozy There was no water supply when we came for one night stay. We were not informed beforehand about the repairs in the area. It was night and too late to find another place. Gladly the water was restored early morning.
- Ellen (8/5): Very good -
- Mceneaney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Cacopardo (9/5): Superb - Very spacious, perfect for 5 people. It was clean and nicely decorated. Only one bed was not super comfortable but the others were good. We enjoyed our stay there.
- Xing (7/5): Good -
- Ruenrudee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (6/5): Quick easy booking, just was very pleasant, only down fall was the beds were not comfortable. - I thought it was decorated nice. Beds were not comfortable
- Leonardo (9/5): I would recommend this property for every one. - The property was very good, the furniture and the style are very beautiful and gorgeous, it was 30 minutes walking from city center or 10 minutes by bus, it was very clean and tidy and it had almost every necessary utensils. The only point that I didn’t like it was that hadn’t enough kitchen utensils, for example the house is for maximum 6 people and some itens there just 3 units. And hadn’t esponje and enough pans.
- Alex (10/5): Perfect! - Really nice apartment, spacious, clean and owner was brilliant! Answered all my questions and even returned my phone charger which I left in the apartment. Will definitely use again
- Jürgen (9/5): Spacious apartment for a short trip to Belfast with the family. - Very spacious apartment for 6 people close to the city center. Communication was very easy, the owner answered to all requests immediately and was very helpful. The neighborhood is very safe (we forgot to lock the car without having any issue). No complaint, the owner helped with all issues.
- Deirdre (1/5): Dangerous, dirty apartment! - Nothing, the beds were uncomfortable, the carpet on the stairs was ganging off & my son slipped on it. The oven tray was absolutely disgusting. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. One of the chairs had a broken spring that kept stabbing people! The place was dirty & dangerous & l will never, ever return! The landlord kept passing the buck, blaming the cleaners & carpet people. I will be contacting booking.com. Everything!
- Janet (7/5): Good -
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Siobhan (10/5): Exceptional - Fab apartment, spacious and comfortable Nothing
- Angela (5/5): Passable - Spacious. Location, and cleanliness of road outside - there was overflowing rubbish bins and litter everywhere.
