- McAdam (10/5): Great host, lovely location and property -
- TRACY (9/5): great location, and for surrounding area visits, few minuets walk from beach - great location, and for surrounding area visits, few minuets walk from beach. Dog enjoyed the little garden. It was a good bed, slept well. Has small fridge and microwave, very clean.

- Nat Beach (10/5): Wonderful hideaway with friendly host - Very welcoming host. Comfy, clean, and great location for a weekend get away. Dog friendly with spacious garden, outdoor seating and off road parking. Added bonus of Lindt easter bunny chocolates left out for us during our stay over the Easter weekend. Thank you for having us!
- Veena (8/5): - Clean , friendly host
- Lynn (10/5): Perfect host, accommodation and value. - Had a very warm welcome by host, property perfect for our requirements and will definitely book again.
- Barbara (10/5): The perfect gem. - Perfect location for exploring the area. The host, Claire was just wonderful and made the whole experience easy and smooth.
- Adrian (9/5): A real gem! - Lovely clean space to stay in with all the facilities you would expect for a comfy stay. There is also seating in a little garden to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. The host, Claire, was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. The only downside was the shower cubicle which is in the main room next to the bed. It's a shame it couldn't be located with the toilet instead (but we got used to it).
- Sarah (10/5): Claire the hostess was brilliant and attentive from pre booking to after our stay and I could not fault her at all. The - It was just the right size for the two of us, very neat and tidy and Claire the hostess is amazing. Wasn’t keen on the shower being in the room maybe frosted glass would be better but there is no where else for it and it’s a nice size.
- Meg (10/5): Comfy overnight stay close to all amenities - The property is within a 20 minute stroll to the beach, restaurants & pubs. Excellent stay, comfy bed. Host Claire was very responsive & gave us a great recommendation for live music too!

- Roy (10/5): A true gem in a good location with a very caring owner. - Mudeford Gem was easy to find, and has parking on site. The owner was very welcoming and explained everything about the accommodation. When you entered you got that lovely clean fresh smell and the appearance was spotless and comfortable. The small garden area was perfect for our small dogs. Claire obviously puts a lot of effort and importance into ensuring the customer enjoys their stay. We will definitely stay again as the overall experience was well worth the extremely good value for money. Thank you Claire 🙏 Overall no complaints!
- Emma (10/5): Wonderful stay we will definitely be returning. Claire is a great host. - The property was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely and quiet and perfectly placed for lovely walks with our dog.
- Nathan (10/5): A pewfect getaway - Was so clean and tidy perfect for our stay and so dog friendly. Was greeted with a warm welcome from the host. Location was ideal as Was a 5 min walk from local dog friendly pub and shops which was ideal thank for will recommend to all x Nothing was all good
- Steve (8/5): Ideal for a short stay and very convenient for Christchurch snd Bournemouth. - Owner was very friendly and attentive. Stressed if we needed anything to not hesitate to ask. Would recommend.
- john (9/5): Very happy with accommodation - dog friendly - all needs catered for - Great location and clean - great host Having to wash up dishes by the toilet
- Graham (9/5): An Immaculate "Bijou" Airbnb, beautifully presented and great value for money - Although the property was small - "Bijou Residence" would perhaps describe it, it had all the facilities, private parking, a kind and attentive host, and was spotless clean and beautifully presented.
Not big enough for a family, but absolutely ideal for a single or couple wanting to stay in the Christchurch area
Communication between myself and the host were also most friendly and efficient. The one reservation I had was with the size of the property - a lot contained in a small space. It didn't bother me, but if I were there for an extended stary, it was perhaps a little small.
I couldn't connect with the internet as I couldn't detect the Wifi signal. It didn't bother me (so I didn't bother the host!) as I had my own Internet "hotspot" but if I had not had that I would have had to bother the host
- IreneLiberti (10/5): -
- Lorraine (9/5): Mudeford Gem - Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Ideally located.
- Tara (10/5): - Clean and had everything I needed
- Cheryl (8/5): - Very welcoming and the studio was very clean. Adequate facilities. Cosy and warm. Could do with more comfortable chairs and not keen on the toilet being in the same room as the washing up facility.
- Victoria (10/5): Perfect and quiet place to stay to explore the beautiful area. - Perfect location for visiting my Aunt and cousins.
Mudeford Gem was a lovely cosy place to stay, very comfortable and good value for money.
Thank you Claire, I'm sure we'll be back. Nothing.
- Malgorzata Teresa (9/5): -

- Emily (10/5): Ideal accommodation for our 1 night stay - Claire was a great host, very informative, helpful and friendly. Room was exactly what we needed for our stay, would be perfect for a few nights, ideal location closeby to restaurants and shops. On-site parking on a safe driveway

- Julia (10/5): -
- K (10/5): A gem! - Such a beautiful place. Friendly and helpful host. More spacious than I thought it’d be. Great garden. Dog friendly. Fab location. Will be back Nothing
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): A tranquil retreat with thoughtful touches . - The property was a lovely little hideaway—so calm and relaxing. It was immaculate inside and out, and the bed was so comfortable. There were lots of little touches: yes, coffee, sugar, and biscuits were available when we arrived. Our host Claire greeted us with a lovely smile and made sure we were okay during our stay, but was also very discreet the whole time. There are some shops within walking distance, and we found a lovely local pub with a stunning garden area. The staff were so friendly and the food was lovely. We got a taxi into the town centre and went to a few restaurants. I would 100% recommend Mudeford Gem—it literally is a hidden gem. Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): easy parking clean and quiet - How clean it was and quiet too. the double bed. I fell out of it twice. We are used to a king size but I do think you could get a king size in there. We had a laugh about it and would not complain at all.
- Antony (3/5): We had an awful experience - It was very clean and location is good The shower is right next to the bed.
The bed and pillows were not comfortable
The sink to wash up in, is in the same room as the toilet
There was no shower gel in the shower.
This facility is basically a cabin like a garden office room
This cabin, which is advertised as an apartment is, in our opinion definitely not worth the £115 we were charged for our nights stay.
- Fiona (10/5): A true gem - cosy, comfortable and welcoming - Absolutely lovely self-contained accommodation. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and cosy, and everything you could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. Had a warm welcome from the lovely host, Claire, who was on hand if I needed anything. Private parking space was great too. Great location for exploring the area. I would happily have stayed for a week! Absolutely no negatives whatsoever, I loved it.
- Simon (3/5): It is advised to be dog friendly, yet my dog had to be on the lead when going out into the garden. - Free parking It reminded me of a bedsit, rather than an exclusive £115 per night property with a 9.4 score. Disappointing sadly.
- Bec (10/5): Cosy little beach side stay - Super friendly host, very accommodating of my dog. Onsite parking.
- Véronique (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - The property was very clean, great location , a pretty little garden to relax. The host was very friendly and discreet N/A
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent and very very welcoming. The Distressed Ship pub food was great. Nothing.
- Natalia (9/5): Positively surprised! - *Super clean apartment
*Newly furnished
*Very friendly and responsive host
*Quiet location
*Nice neighbourhood
*Close to the beach and shops
*Private parking *It's a pity the dogs cannot use the garden, but the rules are the rules! :)
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Pippa (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (9/5): Lovely place - Lovely host who was helpful and welcoming..perfectly clean accommodation with fresh towel and some toiletries
Highly recommended perfect little get away The sink to wash up in the bathroom but we guessed this was due to it needing to be just not our preference.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely, comfortable stay with my dog. Slept like a log. - Claire the owner met me on arrival, showed me round the property and where everything was. There was also a folder giving information about the local area. She was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was lovely, extremely clean and comfortable. As a female travelling alone it felt very safe and secure. My dog was welcomed and advice given on local walks etc. as well as restaurants. There was safe off road parking right next to the property, which was completely self contained. Nothing
- Lottiepopz (9/5): Superb - The accommodation was clean, welcoming, and warm and felt spacious despite being a smaller space.
We arrived quite late, but the host was waiting for our arrival to show us around the place, and was very attentive to check in should we need anything.
Thebqccommodation was just what we needed, and we used it as a base to visit hengistbury head and Hinton admiral new forest.
The accommodation was within easy distance of many shops.
- Carol (10/5): Simply perfect . - A very cosy and well kept little cabin . Facilities all ticked the box and the owner was so kind and friendly . Will definitely be back . Thank you Nothing at all . It was perfect for my needs

- Kingsley (10/5): A little gen indeed... - Everything ticked my boxes, easy to find, clean, excellent host, shops within walking distance, numerous pubs great fish and chip shop, what more do you need.
Mudeford Quay is lovely, plenty of eating places, The Sandbanks via a short boat ride from the Quay is fabulous, a village of beach huts, surrounded by water on 3 sides.
Isle of Wight in the distance, all very scenic, definitely recommend. Nothing.
- Neal (10/5): We had a wedding to attend at a glorious hotel but with outrageous prices and found this little gem. - It was perfect for us as a couple. Clean , comfortable and ideal position . No problems with property what so ever

- Gail (10/5): Comfortable and peaceful. 😌 - Ideal for our stay. Our daughter got married on the Friday 23rd August and we had two days to unwind over the bank holiday. The Gem had everything we needed for our stay. We’d like to have stayed longer. We will be back Claire. What you see in the photos of the property is what you get. It’s spotless.

All in all a lovely place to stay.
- Lauren (9/5): The Gem was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped. - Claire was an excellent host who provided all the relevant information in advance and wanted to know if we had everything we needed. The Gem was spotlessly clean and have everything you would need for a weekend away. The location was also great, 15/20 min walk to mudeford beach and the Harbour Hotel. Would definitely come here again. Nothing!!
- Claire (10/5): Cute, quite and just what we wanted - It was so cute. The place was clean and tidy. Was idea for a few nights away. The owner was friendly. Very quiet on the evenings.
Good locations for shops, takeaway and close to Mudeford Quay and Avon beach
- Fabian (10/5): A gem indeed - Jus what we needed for a peaceful couple of days. Claire is a lovely host who greeted us treated us really well. Good range of restaurants and places to eat around the area
- Wright (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - No Breakfast More storage space
- Brigette (10/5): We truly feel that we did not choose ‘ The Mudeford Gem’, it chose US. We hope it chooses you…, - This property is appropriately named ‘ The Mudeford Gem’. This cottage is a true gem of an experience. The 1st impression is breathtaking. From the cleanliness being of paramount importance, to the thoughtfulness of extending the indoors to the outdoors. The perfect picturesque bistro set that overlooked the well manicured private yard was my morning coffee spot.
The hostess ‘ Clare’ was nearly invisible to allow the most amazing zen experience. Yet, if you needed her for anything, it was as though she could read your mind. Impressive!
Just know…..we didn’t need a thing! There was nothing we disliked. Only wish we would have planned to stay longer. Not to worry we will return.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (9/5): Great overnight stay ! - The property is in a great location and in walking distance of the beach and Christchurch Town Centre with a variety of shops and restaurants to choose from. The property had everything we needed for a short stay and was very tastefully furnished. Will definitely be back!
