Guest Reviews
- James (9/5): Great beach property - Really great location and so close to the beach, its really nice to be able to look out of the bedroom window and see the already. There's also a pool if you wanted to relax. The area is really quiet at night and I didn't hear anything from the other apartments The only thing for people to know is that its a third floor flat, great for the views and a nice breeze but may be a bit harder for some users to access
- Belinda (10/5): -
- Walter (8/5): - Location Nil
- Robert (7/5): -
- Rochelle (8/5): - Loved the location. The apartment was clean and the host was quick to answer any questions I had. The views are beautiful. It is a bit difficult to find the apartment once you reach as we reached in the night. Also there was no mention before booking that one has to climb 3 flights of stairs to access the apartment.
- Amy (10/5): -
- Lisa N Mark (6/5): - It had everything you could need. View of the beach. Tuck in a corner so no passing foot traffic. I didn’t realise it was three floors up. Couch cushions kept slipping forward. My husband has a muscle condition so the stairs were a slight problem
- Sharon (3/5): Don't stay here - Location Whole building needs a lot of work, handrails were coming away from the wall, in general it needs so much maintenance, the list would be endless
- jacki (10/5): Perfect accommodation that really felt like a home away from home. - Great location, very comfortable apartment with lots of little extra
- Steven (8/5): -
- Richard (7/5): Overall enjoyable. - Spacious, clean, well equipped, good location, easy parking and check in. A top sheet on the bed would be useful
Stairs are steep and irregular (but stairs were advised, so no complaint)
A lick of paint on door frames required.
- Paul (8/5): - The location No lift
- Kym (9/5): Even though the venue is old, we were happy with our stay and would come again. - I loved the location. We were central to all the family we were visiting. The price was appropriate for the venue. Karley (manager) was very approachable when needed. There was a problem with wet carpet due to leaking aircon from previous let. We were able to contact the manager to discuss. We opened up curtains and used the fan and towels to help dry. I did struggle with all the steps but I had been advised of this before arrival. Couldn’t find the bins at end of our stay. I’d suggest clearer directions. The tv remote was a challenge to use.
- Robyn (5/5): - Liked the Henley Beach area and accessibility to public transport. Apartment was spacious and well stocked with extras such as tea, coffee, plastic wrap, salt/pepper, washing powder etc. Wi-fi worked well. Good sized fridge. Although kitchen was dated it was serviceable and well equipped. Booked accommodation in Glenelg with Booking.com 13 months in advance, confirmed and paid. Three days prior to arrival received message that booking was 'inactive'/ needed to be cancelled. With Adelaide heavily booked due to car racing and concert was left little choice but to accept accommodation offered by the same Karly's bnb management, Casa Luna, Henley Beach. On check-in, had to contact bnb management again as apartment had not been serviced, bedding and towels not changed from previous guests. Was cleaned and refreshed after contact. This whole booking experience was extremely stressful. Did not advertise that stairs were involved (3rd floor) until after booking made.

- Veaceslav (9/5): Great, enjoyable experience - I liked the beach, the wonderful nature, while getting some rest from the city.
Although I stayed only three nights and two days, and it was rather windy, I managed to enjoy the beach and even swim.
I liked the comfort of the apartment, its location and the surroundings.
All in all, that was a great break between my research visit and the conference in Adelaide. Hmmm...
- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (6/5): Pleasant - Location Access to building
- Jen (9/5): Cozy and fully equipped accommodation, with views of the beach! - The accommodation was fully equipped with everything we needed :) I loved that there was cereal as well!
The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! Shower had great pressure! We'll definitely be back and we highly recommend this property! There was plenty of parking available. Saturday morning there was drilling at 7am, by the apartment either next door or underneath! LOL
Not the property's fault!
We have no complaints about the property itself
- Ashish (5/5): we moved to another place after 1 night because of dirty stairs - location was great and apartment was clean and had everything needed stairs were all rusty and dirty and pool was also vert dirty
- Joanne (8/5): Good for a short stay - Spacious apartment, comfy bed, good shower. Location on the third floor was a struggle carrying our luggage.
- John (7/5): The stay was a good time very clean and well kept place - It’s a ideal location close to the airport and right next to the beach The single bed mattress were very hard and pillows hard aswell
- Lauchlan (2/5): Very poor -
- Hart (7/5): Clean, comfortable, very helpful - Very clean, comfortable bed, good location, coffee machine and milk frother, great shower, The facade is not good. I didn’t realise there were 3 flights of stairs until after I’d booked and paid.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Ross (8/5): Very good -
- Shelley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (8/5): Served its purpose well. We were only there for one quick night - Location to the airport. Large apartment. Very clean. Nespresso coffee machine. Great view Pool could use a good cleaning.
- Stephanie (7/5): Good -
- Karina (9/5): Superb - The stairs...especially from the car park.
- Sparks (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (8/5): Great location close to the beach. - Location was good. The apartment was clean and functional. Parking was handy. The bunk beds. We were all adults and didn’t realise there were bunk beds. Felt it was a little pricey for one night as the building is old and the stairs are difficult with luggage.
- Chanapa (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, good location and beautiful view
- Pitfield (10/5): Next time we are in Adelaide, we will be staying here again. LOVED it - Absolutely everything !! Walking distance to the places we needed to go too, so spacious and comfortable Nothing. Cannot fault a thing about it

- Saba (10/5): The owner was so friendly and responsive . Was a great location and facilities were amazing -
- Carrie (9/5): Great location and view. Reasonably priced - I loved the views from the front and back. The bed was super comfy.
Basic amenities provided. The front door lock is tough to open. Needs replacing.
Couldn't see any basic information on the unit, such as how to operate TVs.
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderul stay in a great location. Great facilities, clean, and cozy. Host was very easy to communicate with and accommo - Amazing location and great facilities. Host was very accomodating, with very clear communication.
