• Sharon Dewsbury (9/5): Superb view and location in comfortable home. - View from living room is superb. Location is fantastic. Kitchen, Living area and deck great size and flowed lovely for our family visiting. Very soft beds. Access good too. I would have loved a nice comfortable chair to sit and look at the ocean. The Lounges set further back were comfortable but don't capture the view as much. More coat hangers and better pillows would be nice, plus somewhere to hang things in bathroom, that was very limited. Cleaning was good but not great.
• Eroni (7/5): - Really nice place, close to the beach and all the beds were really comfy. Hosts were great with communication and organised a cot for us which was very appreciated. Unfortunately the two rooms closest to the door had terrible sleeps as there was constant banging all night long from windy weather. We couldn’t figure out if it was draft from the lift or up above us. One of the windows in the rooms also had a draft which was quite noisy too. A shame when the beds were so comfy but 3 nights of bad sleep. Also would have appreciated a little bit of milk in the fridge.

• Sheila (8/5): Location was perfect with stunning views and sunsets - The apartment had spectacular views across Oakura beach, it was spacious, lovely bathroom with spa bath a good shower. We appreciated the 2nd toilet as we were 2 couples. Coffee supplied but no tea, lovely kitchen facing the views. It was sunny and hot, no shade provided for sitting on the balcony so could only sit outside in the morning as was too hot late afternoon with the sun beating down. Beautiful sunsets. Overall a comfortable stay There was no umbrella to provide shade. Also no artwork throughout the apartment, which would have created a nicer ambience if a few art prints were installed in lounge and bedrooms.

The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning—such a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The location is ideal, offering both tranquillity and easy access to the local attractions. The quality of the apartment is top-notch; the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the linen is soft and luxurious. We also appreciated the high-end appliances, which really added a touch of luxury to our stay. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it one of the most beautiful places we've had the chance to visit. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Oakura. We’ll definitely be back!

• Greg (9/5): Luxury accommodation at the beach with a fantastic view. - Fantastic elevated panoramic view of the whole beach and ocean to the horizon. Very spacious & comfortable. Short walk down the road to the beach.
• Thierry (10/5): Perfect for us as a group of 4 adults. Lovely stay right by the ocean! - Such a high end property. We loved the automation and all the equipment. The double sliding doors to give a true beachfront feeling was awesome. Would definitely stay again, worth every penny! The above neighbors can potentially be an issusle of you want true privacy.

• Graeme (9/5): A lovely modern and clean property with ambience to relax. - Location and view fabulous. Spacious apartment ideal for 4 retirees who wanted to view the Taranaki Gardens. Great glassware and platters for your wine and nibbles prior to going out to dine. Great parking - garage and car park space for two cars. We couldn't get the hang of opening the ranch sliders to the deck so went out the front door and around the side of the house instead. Might have been salt spray damage to the door lock as the property was right on the beach. Not a biggie.

• Ashley (9/5): Amazing stay will definitely be back - Very comfortable beds!! We all had a very good nights sleep in Apartment 1 and 2. The views were amazing! Approx 10 mins to New Plymouth the owners were also very helpful and friendly. The apartments had everything we needed could not recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back to book the entire place. Nothing. Just minor things like more board games would be nice. Also maybe a hand rail in Apartment 1 otherwise our stay was more than amazing thank you to the owners for setting the standard of what “luxury” should be.

• Mrs (10/5): This property was exactly what we needed for our stay in Oakura - Stunning property in a stunning location. We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding on the beach below and it was perfect. Lots of space for our family and friends to get ready without us being overcrowded. Well equipped kitchen came in handy for our daughter to finish making the wedding cake. Communication with the owners was excellent and all our questions were answered promptly. Could do with a second chair in the bedroom in the penthouse suite to enjoy the fabulous view. Also a measuring jug in the kitchen would have been useful. Having to leave at the end of our stay was hard. We had had such a great time there.
