Guest Reviews
- Marian (10/5): Einfach super für einen trip mach cinque terre - Wunderschöne nette wohnung in top lage in la spezia!!! Gerne wieder!
- Victor Hugo (8/5): Bel appartamento in ottima posizione - La posizione ottima e l'arredamento molto bello L'acqua calda della doccia durava poco tempo. Le lenzuola del divano letto erano macchiate e c'erano diversi capelli.
- Tibor (10/5): -
- Beata (9/5): - Lokalizacja, wygodne apartamenty Remont na klatce i dość głośno w nocy od ulicy
- John (10/5): Great place to stay to do the Cinque Terre walk.... - The property itself was so lovely and we were so excited to see a washing machine after travelling from Milan - Venice - Bolonga for the past week. The property had everything to be very comfortable and feel like home. It was a flat walk to the train station where we caught the train each day to do the Cinque Terre walk, property was just around the corner from the Mariner where we would go for an afternoon walk and drink. One day we caught the train to Genoa, very easy. Restaurants were everywhere with great food, also shops interesting. We even had to visit the Hospital one day which was pretty easy to get to. Also, visited the Maritime museum (across the road) which was really interesting! Whilst there was a Television we could not get any channels our Host tried to resolve but over the phone. Also, the Irish Pub located underneath the property was pretty noisy to early hours of the morning, it was a great pub for dinner and a drink though
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabelle (7/5): Good - Great proximity to the ferry and bus stops to get to other surrounding areas. Very effective air conditioning in the living area and bedroom was appreciated. Good sized apartment. We had no hot showers throughout our stay, we tried to fix this to no avail.
No washing machine facilities.
Very tired interiors and some very noticeable damage to walls, ripped fabric on the sofa, broken tiles and mould in the bathroom.
Lighting in bathroom lacking.
Coffee machine leaked.
- Thomas (10/5): A great place to stay to explore Cinque Terre - The host's guide book - superb. Apartment also very well equipped. Should have stayed an extra night to make it a 3 night stay - more to see than initially anticipated.
- Charmaine (9/5): Superb -
- Mariana (8/5): Very good stay and great location. - Good location. Renovated. Light. Staff super responsive. Noise at night coming from the restaurant.
Internet un the tv was not great but staff was responsive to try to solve.
- Nadav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mirella (10/5): Excellent - Apartment was gorgeous, clean and welcoming
Loved it The bed pillows were our only complaint, they were too soft
- Katarzyna (9/5): Very pleasant stay and lovely apartment. - Great location, size of the apartment and full kitchen equipment. Around the apartment there are many restaurants, coffee spots, shops and a park for dogs nearby. Excellent communication with the host (Patricia) and their availability to respond to questions was extraordinary. Dark and small bathroom. What can also be a challenge is difficulty to find a parking place - but this is rather normal when you select apartment at the old town.
- Francesco (8/5): Very good -
- Alfonso (9/5): Superb -
- Adam. (7/5): Spacious flat with nice kitchen - Patricia was very nice, even though I did not have a chance to meet her, because we arrived late, she was very thoughtful and caring. She has a guidebook prepared so you can find everything in the city without having to use the internet.
The flat was easy to find and there was parking nearby, but you have to pay for it during the weekdays. Otherwise you can use the free parking that is not that far. The kitchen was well equipped and clean which was very important for us. The apartment was renovated beautifully a few years ago but currently it is loosing its shine. I am sure this is not the owner's fault, probably some previous guests were not as careful as they should have been and because of this there are slight damages on the walls and in the bathroom.
- Susannah (9/5): In hindsight I probably wouldn’t recommend visiting the Cinque Terre in August!! Very hot (obviously!) and extremely bus - Clean, light, well sound proofed & great location - easy to access train station, ferries & town. Great communication with the owner who was easy to contact & helpful. Small issue with hot water is ran out quickly but this was resolved easily by ensuring we were sensible with time spent in the shower!
- Campagna (4/5): Disappointing -
- Loon (9/5): We can recommend this accommodation if you’re planning to stay in la Spezia - Location is perfect,as advertised and the flat was modern and well equipped. Can’t think of anything
- Vesna (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment, very clean, well decorated and most importantly spacious compared to most apartments we stayed at in Italy. Had everything we needed, would definitely recommend!! The parking was a little hard to find in the evening around the building.
- Jane (8/5): Overall very good, host was great . - location- close to Port and easy to get to station. Shortstroll to city centre! little noisy at night as above a pub. shutters helped block out noise , maybe difficult for light sleepers. we got to sleep ok, comfortable bed .
- Peter (9/5): Nice, clean, comfortable and light appartment. - Patricia was particularly helpful on arrival as our flight was late and we didn't arrive into La Spezia station much before 23:00. There were no taxis...so Patricia offered to (and did) drive to the station to collect us and luggage. Thank you! Road was a bit nosiy but good quality windows kept out much of the noise.
- Alexandar (10/5): Exceptional - Patrizia is a very attentive host and her property is perfectly situated next to the old town. The city port, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and even the train station are within walking distance. The apartment is equipped with all the kitchenware one could possibly need for a week's stay. It has two AC units, a smart TV, and a spacious bathroom. Everything was clean and we felt at home during our stay in May 2023.
- Renard (8/5): Very good -
- Davide (10/5): We had a great stay. - Beautiful and cosy apartment with a great location.
- Maoliang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rafgre (10/5): Amazing stay in La Spezia - gateway to cinque terre - Well equipped kitchen and whole apartment.
Very clean and cozy.
Excellent location and amazing contact to host.
Host provided guide around city and neighborhood. All mandatory and useful information. What to see and what to eat. Everything was well prepared for tourists. Might have a little bit more light in bathroom. Otherwise nothing to add
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The space. The location. Easy walking to the port for boats to Cinque Terre, easy walk to bars and restaurants easy walk to and from the station. There was nothing we disliked.
- Henning (10/5): wonderful - super apartment - close to everything - and super help in regard to parking which was a stressful element arriving late at night.
- Marcin (9/5): Very nice week in La Specia - 1. Location is excellent: close to the harbour (ferry to Cinque Terre or Portovenere), old town, restaurants, pizzerias, shops etc.
2. The host - Patricia - was very kind and helpful, she gave useful information and had no problem when we arrived late
3. There is a guide (printed notebook) in the apartment with all the information you need: starting from how to use the coffee maker in the partment and ending with how to reach tourist attractions, car park, shops, good restaurants.
4. the apartment is clean and equipped well (note there is no washing mashine but you can use a laundry nearby)
5. there is air conditionning in the living room and in the bedroom, there is a table where you can eat together comfortably; there is Netflix on TV ;)
6. there is a good restaurant/pub downstairs so just a few steps for delicious food and drinks and as a quest of the apartment you can count on a discount there ;) 1. the rooms have windows facing a main street - good new windows help to keep the noise to acceptable level but if you are very sesnitive to noise please take this into consideration
2. 15 -20 minutes walk to free car park and rather difficult to find a (paid) parking place near the appartment. Not a problem for us (we left the car and used trains and ferries mainly) but please be aware.
- Georgia (9/5): Everything was great - The location was excellent, the hostess was very polite, everything was clean and there was coffee making facilities Nothing
