• Steffen (6/5): Mittelmäßige Unterkunft aber gut gelegen - Gute Lage. Direkt am Rothaarsteig gelegen Gutes Frühstück Unpersönlicher Empfang, Zimmer nicht so sauber mit Schimmel in der Dusche und zerbrochener Toilettenschüssel, keine Zimmerreinigung während des Aufenthalts

• Gunther (8/5): - Gutes Etappenziel auf dem Rothaarsteig. Auch wenn es kein Restaurant mehr gibt, ist der Imbiß toll und lecker gemacht. Das Zimmer war geräumig und schön, sogar mit Terasse. Das Frühstück kann man individuell am Abend vorher zusammenstellen, da fehlt es an nichts. Der Wirt ist ein Unikum.

• Alexander (8/5): - Die Lage ist für die Etappe des Rothaarsteiges perfekt. Der Wirt war super zuvorkommend besonders da wir die einzigen Gäste für die Nacht waren. Essen war lecker und die Portionen waren großzügig. Das Zimmer war etwas dunkel, was uns aber nicht sonderlich gestört hat.

• A. Naumann (9/5): - Tolle Lage am Waldrand mit schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um das Hotel, sogar im Wald. Selbstbedienung bei den Getränken möglich. Nette Gastgeber. Nur eine kleine Auswahl beim Abendessen-Angebot vorhanden.

• Eva (7/5): Good - Fantastic location for hiking Rothaarsteig and other walks. Quiet. Nice couple providing a very good fresh breakfast. Nice open air restaurant outside with simple dishes until approx 19.00 h and you can bring the food inside the hotel lounge if outside is too cold, rainy or dark for you. We got a free upgrade to a downstairs room with acces to the garden. Nice seats outside. Fantastic hot shower. The hotel has not seen investments in probably 50 years and although clean and rooms are large, it is dated and pretty bare. The couple running the place do not own it, so they are limited in what they can change. For hikers it would be helpful if there was e.g. a water cooker in the room with some teabags and Nescafe sticks, some shampoo in the bathroom and water glasses or even paper cups.
• Rachael (9/5): Superb - Really friendly place with great hosts. For hiking it is the best location, easy to walk from the place or drive five to ten minutes to a new starting point! Great vibes all round 😊
