Lerwick was a good base and we travelled the length and breadth of the island easily, even with a b - The property is in an excellent location, close to shops, restaurants and harbour with handy parking. It is in very good condition, a well equipped kitchen, and all appliances were in good working order. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating and helpful when one of our party broke their arm ( on the ferry). A lack of a relaxing communal area for families in the evening, but we knew that on booking. Could go with some oven gloves and kitchen roll! Minor things!
• Jody (9/5): Tophuisje op een toplocatie - Het interieur van het huisje is zo goed als nieuw. De ligging is geweldig, dicht bij de hoofdstraat van het oude centrum en de haven van Lerwick. Het huisje was in eerste instantie moeilijk te lokaliseren. Een huisnummer was erg prettig geweest. Als tip zou het fijn zijn een haarföhn in de badkamer te hebben.

The property is very clean and comfortable, well furnished, has everything you need for your stay and the location is unbeatable. The hosts are absolutely exceptional with quick and friendly comms, and we are particularly thankful for their willingness to accommodate last-minute alterations to our original booking. We would not hesitate to stay at Harbourside again for our next visit to Lerwick, thank you all so much!

• Daniel (9/5): - Really enjoyed our stay here right in the centre of Lerwick. Very well furnished. Looks brand new and immaculately cleaned. Staff were super helpful and quick to respond to messages. A little pricey, but for the standard and location it seems competitive for Shetland. Would stay again.

• Ann Marie (9/5): Good harnourside location with everything needed for a short stay in Shetland. - Location, well appointed, comfy beds, nice linen fluffy towels, smart TV in bedrooms. Clean, staff met was lovely. Car park very close if you had a car. Near all Lerwick facilities. Lovely welcome. We had three glorious evenings where patio furniture would have been welcome. The communal area would have benefited from a TV so we would have spent more time together.
• Ricardo (8/5): Weiterempfehlung! - Schöne Schlafzimmer und Bäder; gute Lage; modern Küche recht dunkel, etwas eng; Geschirr knapp; Freitag und Samstag wird in der Stadt gefeiert, dann ist die Lage nicht mehr so toll, weil es bis weit in die Nacht hinein laut ist, Menschengruppen in der Gasse vor dem Haus hört man extrem laut
• Andy (9/5): - A lovely property, with clean, modern facilities in a great location. The gate to the property could be marked with the house no for easier location. The property can be a little noisy on Fri / Sat nights as it’s close to the town centre.

• Joerg (10/5): Beautiful apartment in Lerwick with excellent hosts. - The apartment is very nicely decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The table was laid when I arrived and there was a tray with goods from a local shop waiting for me. The communication with the hosts was very friendly and informative. The location is ideal, and Lerwick's cafes, shops and restaurants are only a few steps away. Nothing really, perhaps the apartment would be a bit small for four people if they had to be cooped up inside, but for a couple or a single person, the apartment is perfectly sized.
• Amy (10/5): Perfect location for a long stay - The location was perfect, just a few steps off Commercial St. The apartment was exceptionally clean and the the premium welcome treats were very nice. I loved having the washer/dryer and being able to do my laundry while traveling. The large bathtub was also a great. The team was always quick to answer any questions I had. Definitely would stay here again! I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
