• Valerie (8/5): - The hotel is a great option if you want something a bit more upscale while still being fairly close to the monastic zone etc. as there are no high end options in Lumbini itself. The room was very clean and the front desk staff was extremely helpful, especially in organizing last minute tours and onward transport even during an important Buddhist celebration. The driver they assigned me was wonderful and the local guide they found for historic sightseeing was amazing. I ordered room service during my stay as there are not many options around the hotel and the food was very good. Communication with the hotel online was not easy and although I had arranged for airport pickup, no one was there when I arrived because my flight was delayed and the hotel didn't track the flight. Luckily the hotel is not too far from the airport, but I had to fend off local drivers and call the hotel then wait for the driver, which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place.

• Gino (9/5): Luxurious resort for Lumbini tours - Very luxurious newly built hotel with a complex that resembles a high class resort. Pretty much one of Nepal's best hotels. Staff were excellent English speakers and went above and beyond in every interaction. Very catering to foreigners. Intended to service local Lumbini area. You can pretty much stay in this hotel for all amenities with its own restaurants, bars, pools e.t.c. We booked all Lumbini tours through the reception and their recommended drivers. Hotel of this quality should provide free airport shuttle. Breakfast menu little variety change on a daily basis. Prices are high for amenities inside the resort.

• Yong (8/5): Overpriced nice hotel. Humid room lack ventilation - It's a so-called 5 star hotel in the middle of the village. We stayed just one night. And of course everyone is very friendly. Definitely overpriced. We had the most expensive dinner in Nepal for a person of two at its rooftop but there are not any view at night since it is pretty dark. The room has a giant glass "window" but you cannot open. So the whole room is quite humid due to lack of fresh ventilation.

• Maureen Darby (10/5): Perfect Base For Exploring Lumbini - The Siddhartha Vilasa is a unique blend of affordability, luxury, and grandeur. 15 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Lumbini, it’s the perfect place for exploring the Buddha’s birthplace. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel is in excellent condition. The property features a stunning pool and a well-equipped gym. One of the standout features of this hotel is its car service, which provides easy access to Lumbini. The monastic zone is extensive. In general, cars are not allowed inside. However, the hotel’s car can navigate the site freely. This is a significant advantage, along with the driver’s knowledge. Overall, the staff made my stay truly memorable. The beds are firm, but this is common in Nepal.

• Kim (10/5): Great hotel - Love this hotel-- the staff were genuinely kind and caring. The food is excellent. The general feeling is upscale. We had a Lovely room and everything was immaculate. One of my best hotel experiences in 70 countries, and great value. I'm glad I didn't realize that it is about 20 km from Lumbini temples because I wouldn't have booked it. As it turned out, it's very cheap and easy to get a taxi to the main attractions in Lumbini. . Nothing.

The pool area was absolutely lovely, surrounded by palm trees and bathed in warm light throughout the day. The water was the perfect temperature, inviting for both a morning swim and a quiet evening dip. The space had a modern yet relaxed feel, with plenty of comfortable loungers and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The restaurant on the top floor was a real highlight. Every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that clearly showcases quality ingredients and attention to detail. You can tell there’s real care and passion behind the food. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, striking just the right balance and creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. We had a leisurely dining experience each time. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with a bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The shower was excellent as well, with strong water pressure and perfectly maintained temperature — small details that make a big difference. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Excellent service, great facilities, and a warm, genuine atmosphere — we would be very happy to return and highly recommend it to others.

We had dinner at the restaurant that serves excellent food, also the breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip. Was a nice escape from the heat in summer.

It was very close to the border and main road to border which was all a bit mad and busy. It felt very serene and quieter. Like a little oasis in the mid of madness. Check in was easy and staff treated our friends and driver ( who were not staying) very well I found some of the staff a bit too eager to please, which felt a bit intrusive at times. We were asked to share whats app info and for us to write reviews before we even saw the room., A simple info booklet in the room to what was available would have felt much more comfortable. Coffee in the morning was also dissapointing
