• Nativ (9/5): - The facilities were excellent - clean, tastefully done, well designed. When booking, I hadn't appreciated that my room would have a shared common area and balcony with the next room, but it didn't matter in the end because even though that room was also occupied, there was a screen dividing the balcony and offering privacy. The staff were very helpful, and the food was excellent. There seemed to be a shortage of soft drinks and the staff struggled a bit to communicate, but they were super friendly and tried their best. Would definitely come back again, and for longer, so I can try out the beaches.

• Alicia (9/5): So perfect, we didn’t want to leave! - Absolutely stunning property, beautifully built. We always stay in this beach and are so happy to have a luxury option available now. It’s truly a little slice of paradise. I’m not sure if the property is intentionally trying to stay away from families with little ones (I would understand! We can be a lot of work!) but there are loads of games around and the property lends itself so well to families. We were informed clearly ahead of time that there wasn’t a baby cot, however I really do think this should be a staple item for all boutique accommodation providers unless you are labeling yourself as an adults only hotel. Also having a high chair would have been super helpful! That said- I was SUPER impressed by the staff. We’ve lived in Sri Lanka for 6 years, own and run properties of our own and I can tell you that managing a team that works as well as Niketh’s did is no easy feat. Superb service and attention to detail all around!
• Lars (10/5): Es war einer der schönsten und aussergewöhnlichsten Aufenthalte die wir je hatten - Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, direkt am Meer innerhalb wenigen Schritten ist man an einem wunderschönen und einsamen Strand. Für Surfer ein Traum, da der Surfspot direkt vor der Unterkunft ist. Das Areal ist einzigartig, sehr gross und ruhig und die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und die Inhaber sind so herzlich, wir hatten super tolle Momente mit ihnen. Obendrauf ist das Essen wirklich unglaublich, es wird sehr gesund gekocht und alles immer frisch zubereitet. Das Sri Lankan Breakfast ist speziell zu erwähnen aber es ist wirklich alles super lecker egal was sie bestellen. Wir werden irgendwann mit Sicherheit zurückkommen :) Es gibt an dieser Unterkunft wirklich nichts auszusetzen :)

• Douwe (10/5): Ontspanning in de mooiste plek van Sri Lanka - De allerbeste plek waar we in Sri Lanka zijn geweest. Ongelofelijk lieve eigenaren die je direct thuis laten voelen, alsof we er al jaren kwamen. Een half uur van Arugam Bay af maar daar zijn we niet meer heen geweest. Er is meer dan genoeg te doen in de Villa zelf. Zwemmen, surfen, er zijn gewichten voor krachttraining, strand tennis rackets, kortom; geweldig. Ook het eten is super lekker en goed geregeld, de eigenaren spreken super goed engels en daarmee kan je alles goed afstemmen zodat je maximaal kan ontspannen. Een echte aanrader en zorg dat je deze locatie niet mist!
• Anonymous (10/5): The best accommodation in Arugambay - Probably the best accommodation option in the whole of arugambay. Tastefully furnished with amazing staff and the best food we ever had. Not related to the property but ended up getting food poisoning from eating from a small eatery near the hotel. The food at the hotel was super and I would recommend for everyone to eat at the property rather than from outside as I got food poisoning due to unhygienic conditions of the nearby shops

• Egle (10/5): Paradise.. - We had a pleasure of staying a week in this villa. We loved EVERYTHING ❤️ Villa is located in this amazing, beautiful place, right on the beach. You always hear the calming sound of the waves.. Villa was very new and clean, beautiful interior, large comfortable bed. Rooms are cleaned daily. It is a distant place from the busy and loud city, and that is what we loved. We didnt want to leave this place and go exploring, we just loved BEING there and slowing down. Our girl enjoyed the swimming pool very day. I found yoga classes happening just 15min walk on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay comfortable. Thank you guys! We recommend this place 100%. We were so happy that we have chosen this peaceful place instead of noisy Arugam bay.
• Stephanie (9/5): A home away from home - We loved it. Especially the staff - they are so incredibly sweet, helpful and entertaining. Also the wildlife around - elephants walking along the beach, monkeys in the trees etc.
• Jitřenka (10/5): End of the world and paradise for surfers - Very comfortable bed, really kind staff, very good breakfast, long swimming pool and close distance to the surf spot. We had trouble with check-in. The staff didn’t know about our reservation so the beginning of our stay was a little bit unpleasant but all the other provided services made up for this.

• Margaux (8/5): Very nice house but too expensive for the area - The place is really stunning, the house is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The house is located 2min away from lightpoint which is a surf spot but it is far from arugam so it is very quiet. You can walk on the beach easily but the sea is very agitated so it’s not a place where you can swim. We appreciated the quietness of the place and it’s a great house to chill and basically do nothing. -not a real negative point because it’s what you get for a “ hidden” location but Arugam is 25min away by tuktuk, it will cost 4000rs (12€) just to get there and coming from nivali we found that price more expensive than what we had previously paid -however the overall price value is an issue, the prices during the summer are basically what a famous spot in Europe would be like which is nonsense in this area. The food menu is too short and WAY too expensive. $22 for prawns for one person when you get the same thing for 10 in Arugam, sandwiches for $8… It shouldn’t be that high even if the house is a “luxury boutique hotel” and felt like a rip off. It would also have been great to have things included like fruits, coffee or fresh coconuts during the day with such a high price. The couple with us ended up getting every single meal at the hotel near Niketh because it was too expensive. We are used to boutique hotels and were a bit disappointed by the overall experience, if prices were lower (especially food) this place would def be a 10

The staff are so attentive and kind, they notice every little detail and will go above and beyond to make you stay perfect. The food should be improved and match this place hosting standards (also because there no other options around). We discussed that with the owner and he is working to improve that aspect.

• Markus (8/5): Remote location. Nice bungalow. - Very nice bungalow. Friendly staff. The prices in the restaurant are much too expensive. The location is remote and there are few alternatives. However it does feel, like they want to take advantage of this. 20USD per person for a normal breakfast is not acceptable. In consequence we were eating at Beach Hut, which is close. Unfortunately the entire beach is full of waste and plastic. Not the hotels fault of course, however, if they want to make this an attractive destination also in the future they should pressure local officials to fight against the waste.

There is exactly what you need, a beautiful small pool, a large grass area, large rooms with air conditioning and a balcony, and most importantly the cleanliness, the staff was amazing, always helping with everything! The food is excellent, a bit expensive but really tasty. The villa is 35 minutes by tuktuk from Arugam Bay and a minute's walk from the sea (the beach is called Lighthouse)

• Luna (10/5): The most relaxing breath taking resort in Sri Lanka - The most relaxing magical resort in Sri Lanka. Endless green followed by big blue ocean. Amazing view to the sunrise in the morning and stars at night. Beautiful harmoney between the trees, the jungle and the ocean side by side. This place is really inspiring. Great place to relaxe, enjoy and have a piece of quiet with very few people around. The place sits right next to a really cool surfing spot -" the lighthouse" so you can just walk to it 3 minuts. The town is nearby - 20 minuts drive , and Arugam bay is 30 minuts drive. The whole design is really breath taking the rooms are fancy and simple at the same time, with a lot of attention put in the tiny details. The hosts were super kind and generous and the staff and service were beyond our expectations. We will defenitly come back next time we are here. Thank you Nigle and Sheyna. Nothing
