Lovely Hamptons-feel with all the white shutters and white wooden walls. Enjoyed sitting having coffee on the deck. Only 5 mins drive to centre of town. Wendy was a fabulous host and couldn't do enough for us. Really lovely and would stay again. Nothing

Wendy was a great host, communicated well in the lead up to our stay and was available during the stay if we needed anything. Garage parking for one car, we had a second car which we were able to use space to park off the street. 2 min drive to Woolworths/coles etc. Great place to stay We liked everything

It really felt like we were at home. Nothing everything was good and place was clean worth the money we spent to stay there. The area is so nice and quiet too so that was bonus for us.

The house was fully stocked with not only equipment but a few dry pantry items to save a trip to the shops. The road noise was evident, But It was acceptable as we put the kids in the room closest to the road.

Easy distance to shops, etc. The unit was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Wendy the host was wonderful, she was very helpful and accommodating.
• Sabin (10/5): Overall very, very happy and would definitely stay there again. - I felt welcome being greeted by the host on arrival. I liked the set out of the whole unit and the colour scheme of the decorating. It was very handy having the downstairs toilet and an ensuite to the main bedroom. I would like to suggest that maybe there be another 2/3 seater lounge in the tv room area and maybe tv's in the bedrooms.

We were pleased with how close the location was to the greater Ipswich area. Very accessible and easy to find. The host Wendy, lives next door and was exceptionally friendly, approachable and helpful. We will certainly consider staying here again the next time we are visiting the area!

It is not hard to fall in love with the place. - The house has been beautifully restored, every convenience and comfort has been accounted for. The property is very clean and well maintained. Personal touches made us feel welcome and at home. The host is lovely and was more than accommodating with our unexpected late arrival and has a wealth of local knowledge. I would definitely recommend a stay at this charming location. It exceeded expectation. There was nothing to dislike.
• Matt (10/5): Comfortable, great value stay in the Ipswich area - The unit was very modern, clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Private garage parking was appreciated. The host Wendy is very friendly and helpful. The location is very handy if you're working in (or just visiting) the Ipswich area, with good access to shops about 5 mins drive away. Booval train station is close by but I didn't notice any noise from trains. I didn't use the wi-fi so can't comment on that. There is a bit of noise from the adjacent road that starts early in the morning, but it didn't bother me much. The units further from the road are somewhat shielded from it.

• Tim (8/5): Beautiful, comfortable and practical but a little noisy for us. - The property is beautifully presented, clean, comfortable and practical. We loved being able to walk 3 minutes to the railway station and getting the train to the CBD. The property is located on a busy road, the main bedroom fronting on to the road. Being a traditional villa with single-glazed windows, there is very little sound insulation. This did impact slightly on our enjoyment of the property and significantly on our sleep, but may not bother others.

Liked how there was a toilet seperate downstairs, so we didn't have to go up the stairs to use the bathroom.. The only minor thing was that when you turned on the fans in the bedroom, the vertical blinds blow around and hit each other, making nosies. Otherwise everything was great.

• John (10/5): - This was a fabulous three night stay. The apartment was spotless, everything worked perfectly, and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. Wendy, our host, greeted us, and offered a great option for one of our days. We were planning to travel into Brisbane by train on our two days, so the station being just a couple of minutes walk away was very useful. Highly recommended It's hard to find anything. Perhaps the lack of blockout curtains in the bedroom, which meant we were waking with the sun. But on the plus side, that meant we could catch an earlier train than planned

On arrival we were blown away with how beautiful and homely this property was. The garage door had been opened, ready to drive right in and the welcoming lights and outdoor fairy lights set the scene. The bedrooms were styled beautifully and contained more than we'd ever need - multiple options in the bathroom cabinets, the baby items near the cot. We had no need for the cot but found it sweet that all family members are welcome. The kitchen was well stocked, the furnishings were beautiful inside and outdoors. We wished we were staying longer. The appliances were modern and there wasn't one thing we weren't impressed with. The internet was fast and there was plenty of space to spread out. The property was just stunning. The cost was so affordable I thought I'd either misread the listing or it wasn't going to be as good as the photos but how wrong I was! If you have the opportunity to stay in the Ipswich area, this property is a winner. Easy to locate, close to the train station, close to shops, 20 mins away from the RAAF base at Amberley. It has everything and more than you'll ever need. There is nothing about this property that I didn't like. The only bad thing was that we weren't staying longer.

The reverse cycle aircon to keep us warm, an iron , coffee machine etc. Being older we were careful on the steps however once inside it was wonderful. 💕
• Njwong75 (10/5): Lovely accommodation in Ipwich! - The house is neatly laid out, with all the amenities for a short or longer term stay. We had prompt and detailed communication from Wendy who went above and beyond to assist us with checking in and with the onsite parking. The rooms are lovely with comfortable bedding and we had everything we needed. The location is easy to get to and not far from the local shopping centre if supplies are needed. There is a garage available (preferably only if you have a smaller car) and also an outside spot for a second (or larger) car. Nothing, everything was fantastic.

The place was immaculate – not a thing out of place, incredibly clean, and beautifully maintained. It’s probably the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in, and that’s saying a lot! Wendy was absolutely lovely – so pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Her attention to detail and genuine care really made a difference. If you’re looking for somewhere comfortable, spotless, and hosted by someone who truly cares, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back! N/A

• Elsie (9/5): Convenient short stay - I had a lovely stay at this property, which was well-equipped with all the essentials. The fully stocked kitchen made meal prep easy, and having laundry facilities with powder, pegs, and drying racks was a thoughtful touch. The bathroom included some extra supplies, adding to the convenience. A couple of small improvements could enhance the experience—having wine glasses available would have been a nice addition, and relocating the BBQ to the top verandah would make outdoor dining more accessible. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, living nearby and even stopping by to say hello, which some may appreciate while others might find a bit unexpected. While the property itself was great, traffic noise from the main bedroom was quite noticeable. The road runs directly outside the front window, and even on weekends, the sound was significant—something to keep in mind for light sleepers. Additionally, for colder mornings, a few extra mats or rugs would make the hardwood floors more comfortable. Overall, a great stay, and with a couple of small adjustments, it would be even better!
