• Wichmann (6/5): Ferienwohnung "Josip" nicht zu empfehlen - Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und die Lage der Ferienwohnung ideal. Die Ferienwohnung war nicht sehr sauber. Die Schränke in der Küche verschmutzt und auch das Geschirr teilweise schmutzig und zusammengewürfelt. Für unser empfinden, war das Geschirr auch eher unzureichend. Im Backofen befanden sich noch Reste der Pizza unserer Vormieter. Die Gardinen an den Fenstern sind teilweise kaputt und zu schmal um das Fenster abzudecken. Spinnweben an Lampen und Fenstern. Die Duschwanne im Bad ist stark verschmutzt. Der in der Beschreibung angegebene TV war nicht vorhanden und wurde auf Nachfrage auch nicht nachgerüstet. Da wir uns im Urlaub befanden, konnte darauf aber auch verzichtet werden. Es geht hier eher um das Prinzip. Insgesamt wirkte die Ferienwohnung eher ungemütlich und benötigt dringend eine Generalüberholung und Reinigung. In der Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung gibt es viele Fotos. Leider kann man nicht erkennen, welche davon tatsächlich zu der gebuchten Wohnung gehören. Wir bewohnten das Apartment "Josip". Dieses ist nicht empfehlenswert. Für die anderen Ferienwohnungen des Komplexes kann das anders sein.
• Kia (9/5): Suzana and location make this an easy recommendation and should suit most nicely. - Location was great. Easy in/out and away from main port traffic. Great brewery next door and a beautiful & short walk to main square. Suzana was the kindest and most accommodating hostess. We had two units, a 3 bed (for 3 adult kids) and a Studio for 2 Parents. 3 bed unit was much nicer and with more appliances and utensils. Slightly dated accommodation and mediocre AC but many other charming aspects - being a guest in a family home.

• Brittany (7/5): Good - The location of this property was unreal, everything is within walking distance, including restaurants and an ATM within 20m of the property. This meant we were able to get around and beach hop with ease without needing any transport. The host was super friendly and the property was super spacious which is nice when travelling with lots of luggage. We appreciated having a washing machine located in the bathroom as we were able to catch up on washing whilst staying there. The host entered our room 2 times to turn our aircon off (we had someone bed ridden with food poisoning which is why we left it on), we felt quite uncomfortable with them just walking in thinking we were gone. This was also the only aircon in the entire apartment, so to have the place even remotely cool it needed to stay on. The shower head isn’t attached to the wall so you will need to hold the hose to shower yourself which can be difficult if trying to actually wash yourself. The lighting in the bedrooms was also very dark making it difficult to see. I also felt that it was odd that they didn’t have an eftpos machine and that we had to pay with cash. WiFi and TV also didn’t work.
• Shreya (10/5): Refreshing Stay With A Breath Taking View!!! - I recently stayed at Villa Domus Marini in Hvar, Croatia, from October 21st to 24th. Suzana, the host, was exceptionally sweet and friendly. The apartment's central location made exploring easy, and the Santorini-like ambiance with a beautiful sea view was breathtaking. The rooms were artistically decorated, and the bathroom was particularly stunning. Overall, a delightful stay with charming aesthetics and a welcoming host.

• César (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was in a very good location, very close to the center of the Old town and with everything needed to make our stay perfect. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the apartment was even better than it looks in the pictures. We were even able to check in earlier and they offered us to stay longer until our ferry departed. There were supermarkets and restaurants only a few meters away and the walk to the Old town was beautiful.
• Delaney (10/5): Roomy, traditional apartment with perfect terrace view of harbor and neighboring island. - This apartment is very traditional. It’s roomy and charming, think of old school charm. The hosts are as sweet as your favorite aunt and grandmother. The view from the terrace is beautiful, especially in early morning and early evening. The beds are comfy enough and the bathroom fairly roomy. The location is a bit of a walk from the town center and even further to the more luxurious side of the island but if you want a more local feel this is the location. You can even watch the local kids playing football from the living room window.

Just a short walk to Havr town and in the opposite direction - a short walk to a nice little beach. Supermarkets just up the road and a couple of nice restaurants right by the apartment. Apartment was a little ‘tired’ looking, the slats in one of the beds kept collapsing and water remained in shower tray. Nothing major though. Accommodation more than adequately served its purpose.

Apartment equipped with all, kitchen, towels, etc.. The apartment was very big that is a positive side, 2 rum, kitchen and bathroom and they just have one AC in the living room, witch makes difficult to cool, Out the hall apartment have to sleep at the living room 😕 It was clean but not enoff a lot of spots not clean and I foun a pubic hair in the shower that not belong to me. The apartment says that it’s parking for free available but when we came there was nothing to park, the owner live us there was very stress to go! And tall to waith some one come out from here parking spot, in the end we get a ticket from the police because we park rong. Witch the owner promise to pay but never did it. I have to found the apartment in the property of her family member to pay the room. We lose 2 hours of our vacation doin trying to park and trying to find some one to pay the room! Very bad inchecking! Stressing ,sweating with no person to help us!! I will never check in there again!!

Interior updates could make this property outstanding - The location was fantastic, close to everything you need in terms of beaches, cafes, hires, ATM, supermarkets and walking to the main city. Great room sizes and nothing felt like a squeeze. It was also nice to have varied chairs for eating at the table or chairs to chill. Lovely balcony where we really enjoyed eating our breakfast and dinner, especially being able to view the harbour and sea. What was also really wonderful is the host. Suzana was brilliant. Very responsive to make sure we didn't need to wait to get access to the property and even let us drop our bags in a few hours earlier. Communication was brilliant either from WhatsApp or booking.com messenger. The host was also accommodating with special arrangements for us to wire the money over rather than paying with cash which is more cost-effective for us in FX rate from our bank. The outside of the property is immaculate and green. You can tell a lot of care is spent on the outside. They also have additional seating areas as well as areas to cook (for example a BBQ/grill/Pizza stand). We hired some E-bikes and liked that we had plenty of room to bring them into the outside gardens with a beautiful iron gate to close for security. We have read from the other reviews that the interior has charm, in our opinion this property could do with a fresh update which would make it truly outstanding and value for money. The updates that could be improved are the general interior furnishings, accessories and appliances. They are fine but are very old or mismatched such as the kitchen cutlery (blunt knives and old mismatched cutlery). Or the kitchen worktop surface being chipped, and the doors & hinges being replaced. To the servicing of the air conditioning unit as it was leaking from outside.

• Carina (8/5): Good stay, great position, great terrace and yard! - The position is great, you can go by the promenade directly to the port in 5-7 min walking on a flat surface- no need to climb 27282stairs (rare in Hvar). Mariana, the owner is a really nice, friendly and relaxed lady, like her a lot. The yard and the individual terrace each apart has are amazing, so green and luscious, really endearing! It is a family owned business so you can see the personal care and touch of the ladies! The apartments are well equipped, you have a kitchenette as well, which for longer stays should come in handy. The room (Zara) was a bit dated. The bed was very very difficult to sleep, but we understood that a new mattress was already on the way so things should improve shortly. The air conditioning did not chill sufficiently, making the sleeping additionally difficult (we caught the heat wave). The drainage in the bathroom (the bathroom is new) was bad, even stopping the water while foaming did not help at all, meaning that amongst two people, one had to shower in the undrained water of the other - not very nice.

• Samantha (3/5): Poor - Location As a host, I can say that the way they treat guests is terrible. The apartment was dirty, without light in the toilet. Without television. Without answering the question about the parking place so we get a parking ticket. For €100 in the low season, a disaster.

• Ruth (9/5): A few days in Hvar - Nice view from terrace, easy to get to from the port and within easy distance of the town. Quirky lay out in the apartment. Owners on hand if you needed anything. A few restaurants and cafes just a few metres away. 2 supermarkets a few moments away. Apartment was in the roof space so did get very warm but there was air con.
