Guest Reviews
- Kirsty (10/5): -
- mark (9/5): would definitely return if travelling to Cardigan again and would certainly recommend to others - excellent location, just off the high street, so everything needed was within walking distance.
Ideal base for visiting both local attractions and for venturing further afield parking could be an issue during busier times of the year, only 3 spaces on a first come basis, however we were fortunate that all 3 spaces were available on our arrival and we didnt need to use our car throughout our stay
- Janine (10/5): - Great location
- Chloe (9/5): Lovely location with everything you need - Great location, comfy beds, spacious. Everything you need for a family getaway Old style windows look lovely in the cottage but not very sound proof so some noise from passers by and other gardens travelled in which we only noticed at night when putting children to bed early, no noise after 9pm
- Simone (10/5): -
- Linden Richard (10/5): -
- Janet (9/5): - Great location Nothing
- Rachel (10/5): Very comfortable stay once again - This is such a beautiful cottage and second time staying there. Ideal location, parking not an issue and very clean and comfortable there is nothing to fault. Nothing

- Yusof (8/5): - Lovely cozy cottage and beautiful location. Host let us stay a little big longer so we explored the lovely town Cardigan. Thnks đ.
- Pavew (8/5): - It was bigger than I expected. Nice kitchen. The apartment is prepared for a longer stay. The bathroom at the ground floor was tiny and was missing towels.
- Julie (10/5): Cosy and comfortable cottage in the centre of town. - Excellent location, clean, confortable and well equipped Nothing
- Robert (9/5): -
- Mathew (10/5): -
- Isabel (7/5): - Cocina bien equipada.
Alojamiento idĂłneo para una parada en ruta. Se equivocaron al enviarnos el cĂłdigo para recoger las llaves de entrada pero lo solucionaron rĂĄpidamente.

- Susannah (9/5): A pleasant stay in a conveniently located house. - Great location, well equipped and deceptively spacious.
- Patricia (8/5): Okay for a short break - The location in the centre was good apart from the car access to the property.
There was a high step into the property which made the access difficult.
The property was generally comfortable and spacious No parking at the property for a large car.
We were disappointed to find that some kitchen utensils although they had been through the dishwasher had residues of food on them.
- Fabrice (7/5): -
- Fiona (10/5): Great stay in Cardigan - Lovely place in the heart of Cardigan.
Would highly recommend.
- Gary (7/5): - The cottage was as described and very central to the town. No loo rolls, no milk, which is nearly always provided and no mirrors in bedrooms.
- MORGANE (8/5): Chouette maison ! - Petite maison dans une impasse trÚs au calme. Bien aménagée, décorée. Tout était bien !
- Rachel (9/5): -
- Melanie (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb - Cardigan is a nice town and this cottage - right in the centre - offers lots of space, a nice patio and hospitable hosts.
- Rosa (8/5): Nothing to dislike although itâs not luxurious itâs a fair price for everything required for a comfortable stay. - Central to shops cafes theatre but down quiet side alley no passing traffic. Dog friendly. Well equipped. Clean. Comfortable beds.
- Dana (10/5): The cottage was charming and great value for money. The hosts had great information available. I felt safe and comfortab - Location and value for money. No toilet paper.
- Tsokallis (10/5): Exceptional - It was beautiful and clean very spacious.
Train set for kids to play with,
Fully functioning kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine. Steep hill to drive up to gain access to property.
- Sergei (10/5): Exceptional - Everything N/A
- Brigitte (10/5): Cardigan town cottage - Very comfortable town cottage with great amenities. Great location to explore the coast. We enjoyed our stay!
- Mari (6/5): Pleasant - * We liked the location of the property in the town of Cardigan - great to be so close to what the town has to offer.
* We enjoyed using the sunny back patio to eat our breakfast.
* Thank you for the details about the property that we were able to read ahead of our arrival - we managed to get parking in the back lane.
* Friendly town! * The property was still being cleaned upon our arrival a little after 4.00pm.
* The keys are little tricky to find - the cleaning personnel helped us.
* I feel that description âStunning Cottageâ is over inflated - it is an OK property but not stunning.â€ïž
- Matt (10/5): Cracking little cottage close to it all. - Cracking little cottage right in the centre of things. Easy access everywhere. Great communication from the hosts, lovely cottage with everything you could need. N/a
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (8/5): A good, central place to stay in Cardigan - The property was clean and there was lots of space for the two of us and our dog. Had everything we needed, was right in the centre of Cardigan and we had good communication with the owners. Not much not to like and we were only there from 4pm to 8.30am the next morning. Parking was in the main public car park 5 mins or so away but that didnât bother us.
- Naomi (10/5): Great location. Perfect. - Location was amazing. Small parking space which was a bonus. House was ideal for a weekend stay as we had a wedding in town!
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lloyd (8/5): Great property with fantastic location - The properties location is the best part.
You couldnt be more central to Cardigans centre and high street. Superb! Although advertised with parking it was not ideal with a big car. We had to off load and park on a street near by.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice home. Enjoyed my stay. Thank you
- Andrew (7/5): The property itself was excellent, but the street/alley itâs in was not the best. - Good location, in the heart of the town centre. The alley way was dirty with property clearances not collected. Felt a little unsafe at times. Parking not great.
- Derbyshire (9/5): Superb - All was fine and after a phone call to proprieter we were allowed another extra 45 minutes on our last morning. Thank you. Parking and directions to the house. Very hard to find
Parking was very poor and I'm still not sure if we parked in the square that we did park in. Lots of rubbish out side on the Parking space. Definitely no room for 3 vehicles. Did deter on our stay as we were going to a wedding and did not want to walk to the main car park.
- Andrew (7/5): Good - Clean, comfortable and well placed in Cardigan. No internet, a necessity as this was a business trip.
TV reception poor and often dropped out completely (this may have been weather related as I noticed the same problem where we ate).
- Christina (10/5): Loved everything about it!!! - Absolutely lovely cottage, perfect for our family. Location was great too. It was very clean and had everything we needed! Kids loved the board games đ Have tried to book again for the summer and itâs fully booked Iâm not surprised đ
- Melissa (9/5): Short , comfortable sweet stop over - Everything you needed , in town , very comfortable & warm modern & clean Nothing
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional - Was close to the shops , we had no problem with the parking space to access the parking at the bottom of the Rd we did find a bit difficult at first but once we knew where to go it was fine you turn left down by the cafe at top of the hill and follow rd around
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - Lovely cottage and very central however Wi-Fi did not work so unable to connect to tv
- Rachel (10/5): Fabulous comfortable cottage - Absolutely fantastic stay at Ebens Lane cottage. Ideally located for visiting Cardigan. No issues with parking on Quay Street although shortly after moving the car to go out for the day the car park was flooded so be mindful of this. There are warning signs around the car park. The cottage had everything you needed. Was very clean with comfortable beds and a lovely courtyard that we used to enjoy a morning coffee in the sun. The only request would be for a handrail outside the front door as the step into the cottage is quite high and was a struggle for my elderly parents. This cottage is highly recommended and we will definitely be booking again.
- Marcus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (8/5): Had a great break, loved the cottage and access it gave to the surrounding area. - Great cottage in the heart of Cardigan. Exactly as described and perfect as a base for the start (or end) of the Coast Path.
- Gethin (9/5): Really nice place in a quiet convenient location -
- Lucy (10/5): We came for a wedding reception and it was literally a 3min walk away. Super! - Lovely house, tucked away just off the high street so it is so convenient, yet quiet. It was lovely and warm on arrival.
It was clean, parking was available high street as it was the weekend The door lock cannot be locked with a key from the inside, as soon as my autistic clocked this, he was out the door!... cheeky clever thing!
- Fiona (9/5): Perfect little cottage, good location, nice and cosy - Loved the location. The beds are very very comfortable. Very clean. Nice kitchen and useful to have a little yard at the back (although yard needs a little tlc). Excellent hosts. Would like waste paper baskets in the bedroom plus bedside lamp. Sofas downstairs are not very comfortable. Need more kitchen tools i.e veg peeler. Bathroom needs some tlc. Black mould on bath and tiles not very appealing.
- Mark (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay. Would like to have stayed longer to get most of facilities. - Warm and Cosy. Central location. Excellent facilities.
- Edward (10/5): Family Visit - Excellent location, spacious, comfortable and spotless. Has a large outdoor yard and only a minute from town centre. Nothing to be honest.
- Lamma (10/5): Exceptional - We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. Highly recommend đ
- Carys (10/5): Exceptional - Well appointed, clean, cozy and comfortable. Clear instructions and easy to find. Great location for exploring the town and easy to get to lots of walks on the Wales Coast Path
- Lyns (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ma (8/5): Very good - Great house I think it could have been clearer that the parking spots up the road were so so narrow and getting up the road is very narrow If you are not used to it. My friend scratched his car on the wall trying to get out. But all in all itâs a beautiful place to stay and ideal location in town.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Gwyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (10/5): Host was great with his information. We were able to walk from our work place. Cottage was was fantastic, warm and comfo - Everything. One of the best we've stopped in.
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good - Good location, really well equipped inside perfect for four people (six might be a stretch and slightly small). parking is a bit of a nightmare and access is very tight đ I recommend parking in the quay car park nearby and not park at the property as access is very tight (donât risk it for drop off). 10am check out time is also a little early in my opinion, appreciate it needs to be turned around for the next person but possibly look to make this a tad later?
- Michael (8/5): Ideal location and facilities for our stay in Cardigan catching up with old friends. - Breakfast in the local Priory Cafe hosted by Chris & looked after by Nichola was excellent and thoroughly recommend.
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, right in the heart of Cardigan. Warm and comfortable. Good beds. Quiet location. Toys for the children. No parking. The lane the property is on, is very narrow and steep. No allocated space to park. Long stay car park nearby though.
- Fiona (10/5): Perfect for our short stay . - Location and tranquility.
- Margot (10/5): Lovely property, very comfortable, would not hesitate to go back again. Hosts were very helpful. -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house in a convenient location
- Elaine (10/5): Lovely cottage in great location, good communication with hosts - Clean, comfortable cottage in great location just off the Main Street
- Sandy (9/5): Friends weekend away - Facilities in the house
Good location
Lovely outdoor seating Parking was a little difficult near the house but to be fair there was parking a short walk away
- Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (9/5): Excellent - Amazing location Tight corner access
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Excellent stay! great location, hosts are more than helpful with guides and instructions lovely little place and would d - Very spacious and clean. Only thing thatâs a bit tricky is running a bath and not being able to access the taps properly cause of the shower screen.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable Everything good lovely accommodation well located for town
- Graham (7/5): Good - Perfect for our needs whilst visiting family in Cardigan. No corkscrew.
- Anthony (9/5): Beautiful cottage in town centre location. - This scrupulously clean and well presented cottage was handy for the town centre and for local dog walks. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would recommend unloading from the High Street next to HSBC and then parking elsewhere as the lane is excruciatingly narrow for vehicles. Needed support rails around bath really to enable my wife to use shower. Also, very high front door step where a support rail would be handy.
- Elaine (9/5): Lovely house in great location - Lovely little house with a courtyard garden in excellent location just off the main street
- Steve (6/5): Value for money- clean and close to the centre of town. - Value for money and close to town A bit tired- it needs a little time spent on it and refreshment.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Great - No breakfast Accessibiluty cars
- Alison (9/5): Perfect base for a few days in Cardigan - The cottage was in a great location, close to the riverside and the main street, but very quiet. There was a nice courtyard at the back of the cottage for sitting outside. Rooms were bright and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Big step up to the front door - not a problem for us but worth being aware of.
- Joanne (9/5): Lovely cottage in great location. - Great location near town centre
Really friendly owners who met our special request of an early arrival happily. ParkingâŠ. The lane was really tight to get up & down.
My only criticism would be the 3rd bedroom in the attic only has a sofa bed which we knew when we booked, however it was very uncomfortable. If we were there for longer than 2 nights this would have been an issue.
- Vicki (6/5): Good location, lots of space. Good value for money. A few areas to consider when advertising the property. - The location is good. The bedding and space within the property is good. We were unable to drive through the lane to unload the car. Despite being told we could. No cars can drive through the lane as there is a motorcycle, concrete step and furniture in the way.
The parking spaces at the end of the lane are almost impossible to reverse out of safely.
Our four year old found a lighter on the stairs when we arrived at the property.
The key safe was open when we arrived.
- Renata (10/5): Exceptional - A great place, clean, quiet and well-equipped. There was a small problem at the beginning of out stay, but it was solved immediately.
- Lisa (7/5): Nice stay for a night. - It was very near to the town centre. And it was very clean. The parking was a nightmare. There are three spaces down the very tiny lane but my goodness it was hard to get out of them. You canât turn so have to reverse round a narrow corner. My advice is to use the nearby carpark. Also the key safe was a bit tricky to open
- Paul (8/5): Excellent stay, will defo return - Excellent location with all we needed close by Nothing! All met expectations
- Mark (9/5): Excellent house in central Cardigan - Lovely, well-equipped, spacious house in an excellent, central location. Fast, helpful communication with the hosts. Excellent value for money. Nothing.
- Roger (10/5): Great location, great cottage, and great hosts. - It felt really homely as soon as we walked in, and after a long day on the road was just what we needed. It was a little tricky to find but the instructions from the owner were excellent.
- Lowri (9/5): Superb - The house was lovely. Parking is difficult. It is probably best to park elsewhere.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Easy to book, very clean and comfortable. Communication from the hosts was excellent and we would rebook if staying agai - The location was great, it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Only a minor point really. The bathroom door upstairs didnât lock and the bathroom door downstairs was a bit dodgy, one of us nearly got locked in. Also, getting the key from the lock box was a bit tricky.
- Trice (9/5): Shame it could only be a short stay. -
- B (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Lovely house that feels like home. - The accommodation is on a lovely quiet lane. Not a peep during the night. However off the end of the lane you are on to the main shopping street in Cardigan which is ideal. 2 toilets in the house which is great. The room at the top of the house was absolutely ideal for our 19 year old son. Had loads of room, his own tv and sofa bed. Kitchen has all you need in terms of bakeware, cookware and utensils. Loads of plates, cups and glasses which is great. Dishwasher, washing machine/dryer etc. It really was like being in a home away from home. Pity the weather wasnât warmer or sunnier when we were there as thereâs a little courtyard in the back with a table and chairs and I would have loved to sit out some day. All in all we loved it there. There was nothing we didnât like really. Just to note that if you do decide to park your car in one of the 3 parking spaces at the end of the lane, make sure your car is small enough to be able to get back out again. Ours was too big to turn and we ended up having to reverse down the hill and around the corner. Our own fault though.
