• Ulrika Krexner (8/5): Moderne Wohnung, großartige Lage. - Die Wohnung hat eine großartige Lage - nahe der Innenstadt und in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Alles ist in 10–15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist modern, große Küche und gemütliche Couch. Die Matratze ist bequem. Gegenüber gibt es ein tolles Café sowie zahlreiche Bars und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Gut zu wissen, dass es viele Treppen gibt – und schmal sind. Im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes befindet sich eine Bar, die bis in die frühen Morgenstunden laute Musik spielt.

• georges (10/5): Séjour inoubliable avec terrasse➕soleil tout les jours. - Situation géographique, propreté, terrasse super bien exposée avec vue magnifique et très facile d'accès contrairement à certains commentaires, équipements pratiquement neufs, décoration intérieure vraiment agréable avec le souci du détail. Et pour les escaliers un peu difficile pour certains, si vous voulez un rooftop dans un immeuble typique aux pays-bas, il faut avoir de bons mollets et ne pas avoir peur des marches à monter, l'un ne va pas sans l'autre. Magnifique séjour. 🚫🚫🚫
• Milena (10/5): Charming Rotterdam’s fairy tale apartment - This apartment is cozy, with a beautiful view and atmosphere. It is close to the city center, on a lively street, so you never feel alone and can enjoy the city vibe. I was worried about the noise but felt settled and had no problems. I also was concerned about the cold weather and heating, but the floor heating works perfectly. Dila was very helpful and responsible. The stairs are very steep, and it is difficult when you have a big suitcase, especially since I had one because I stayed here for a month. There was a false alarm in the middle of the night, and I was stressed. If that happens, the shutdown button is in the basement, and you should not touch anything in the apartment. Unfortunately, that was not well explained.

• MelB (10/5): - Le confort de l'appartement était juste parfait! Vraiment bien équipé avec des appareils modernes et le lit est très confortable. La proximité de tous les services nous permet de tout faire à pied. Si vous souhaitez un endroit calme pour dormir, apportez vous des bouchons car juste à côté d'un koffie shop et d'un bar qui ferme à 4h du matin du lundi au jeudi et à 6h le vendredi et le samedi. C'est vraiment le seul point négatif sinon il serait parfait en tous points.

• Carol (8/5): I really enjoyed my stay in Rotterdam and and am pleased that I managed to secure this apartment. - The location was excellent, an easy walk to the railway station, to the centre and tram and metro stops. The apartment had obviously had a very expensive high spec refurb and I was was very impressed with the functionality and aesthetics of many aspects of the design. It was very clean and I really liked the main living space which was light and spacious with large windows and an interesting view. The kitchen area was very well equipped and easy to use apart from the height of the worktop and shelves. I made good use of the washing machine and appreciated the drying racks . Washing dried quickly because of the heat in the property. The bedside lighting in the bedroom was useful, although I would appreciated better lighting over the sofa for reading. This isn't a criticism, but I found the lighting arrangements a little difficult to negotiate at first. Switches in awkward/unexpected places e.g. the switch for the strip lighting above the shower room basin was about 0.7 m above my sight line and 0.5 m above my reach in the cupboard. One lamp in the living room in my eyes was non functional, but this was explained as a "design issue". I questioned this privately. The design for the flat was obviously based on the needs of a tall Dutch person whereas I am a very small British person. I could reach the bottom kitchen shelf just, but otherwise a chair had to be deployed for anything above that. Perhaps a small ladder might be a useful addition to the facilities. The apartment was stifling when I arrived although I was told the underfloor heating wasn't on. I spent quite a bit of time reading the "bumf" in the flat, looking on line and talking to the agent, but it seems as though there is a wider issue in the building which is hard to control, meaning that heat/ energy is wasted by opening windows and/or noisy and energy consuming solutions of fans have to be used. One of the effects of the lack of insulation/nature of materials in the flooring means that people walking in the flat above make a noise that is quite intrusive. I assume this flat was rented and one of the occupants was very heavy footed and was very busy walking around late at night followed by unwelcome music - not loud, but enough to keep me awake until 2-3 am. I think even when the occupants changed and their walking patterns seemed more reasonable, the thumping noise was quite intrusive.

• Jacqueline (4/5): such a pity - it was a beautiful apartment in the perfect location for us first we booked this apartment for the roof terrace and had told them in the first message this was a must .when we got there a part to secure door was broken and removed for maintenance and we were just told deal with it . we didn't allow that to ruin holiday on the Sunday we had no electricity in apartment we were getting ready to travel back now hot water and phones needed to be charged I messaged twice and still waiting on reply we had actually paid a extra night to be comfortable before we travelled this completely defeated the purpose after spending nearly 200 for the extra day
• Andrea (7/5): Lovely Apartment! - The apartment is really lovely. It is quite spacious, clean, and bright. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bathroom is a good size, featuring an excellent walk-in shower. The bed is comfortable, and the duvet is soft and warm. The staircase to reach the top-floor apartment is narrow and steep. Therefore, you might want to avoid bringing large suitcases with you. The door handle used to access and lock the apartment is faulty, making it difficult to operate each time. However, after several attempts, we figured out how to make it work despite the issues. Accessing the terrace is quite challenging and potentially dangerous, as there is a missing spring support holder for the hatch, which prevents the door from lifting on its own. Therefore, you will need to lift it manually using your body weight. Please note that the door weighs approximately 50 kg, and you will be standing on a steep metal ladder when opening it. This can be very dangerous and may lead to serious injury.

• Matthew (6/5): Disappointing, but it has potential to be great... - The flat is in a great location on the edge of town and close to the train station. Everything feels within a 10-15min walk. The property is very modern and has all the utensils and appliances you would need in a flat. You can see that a fair amount of money has been spent on refurbing the flat to a good serviced-accommodation standard. The mattress is comfortable, the sofa is comfortable to sit on, and the kitchen has built-in appliances. There's a great coffee shop across the road and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from locally. We had to wait 5-10 minutes for the instructions to enter the property - the host apologised for not sending earlier. The bed linen was terrible and ruined what could have been some good nights sleep. Firstly, the duvet cover had 3-4 visible stains on it - which the cleaner must have noticed when changing the sheets - I saw them as soon as I looked at the bed, I believe they were oil stains. I can only describe the material on the duvet cover/pillows as being 50% denim. So uncomfortable, and might be the worst sheets I have experienced as an adult. They need to be binned immediately as they are not suitable for serviced accommodation where the aim is to provide comfort to guests. The shower was blocked for the first couple of nights, flooding the bathroom whenever in use. The host arranged for it to be fixed the day after it was flagged. There's a bar at the bottom of the building which plays loud music in to the morning.

• Christina (9/5): The stairs were hard with the luggage but we really enjoyed our stay. - The location was amazing and the apartment was very comfortable. I know the stairs are common there but we were not expecting so many. We were at the very top and it was extremely difficult with the luggage. If you are older or have health issues requests a lower floor. There is a club or bar next door and there were loud people out on the street early into the morning. Not an issue for us but some people might not be able to sleep.
• Massimo (6/5): Pleasant - I have had problems to take the keys in the box outdoor and indoor, just because the code that you sent me was wrong, or somebody did'nt change it. The same problem I had also for check out.
