• Sabrina (7/5): Zum „nur“ Übernachten mehr als ausreichend. - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Fenster für zwei Nächte gebucht. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit in diesem Zimmer zu wünschen übrig und wir fragten beim Personal nach einem Upgrade nach, welches wir kostenfrei erhielten. Das neue Zimmer war mit Balkon und um einiges sauberer und einladender. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist gut, direkt an der Hauptstraße wo sich einige Bars, Restaurants, ein 7/11 und auch ein Food Market befinden. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr so neu wie auf den Bildern. Auf dem Dach, wo sich der Pool befindet sieht es mehr nach einer Baustelle aus. Zum verweilen lädt dies nicht ein.

Das Hotel besticht durch eine moderne, stilvolle Einrichtung und ein sehr gepflegtes Ambiente. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, komfortabel und makellos sauber. Das Essen war lecker – hier wird wirklich auf Qualität geachtet. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Rooftop: ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen mit toller Aussicht. Der Strand ist nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und einfach herrlich. Wir kommen garantiert wieder – eine klare Empfehlung!🤩

• Mills46 (5/5): Nice hotel but cleanliness needs improving and a lot of noise. - The location is good if you don't mind a 10 minute or less walk to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The pool was lovely, nice depth, size and temperature. View is lovely too. Bed was good size but not very comfortable. Room size very good. Staff very polite. The walls are very thin. I could hear word for word the movie next door were watching. Was also right next to the cleaning cupboard and the cleaners were not considerate at 730am. The general cleanliness and maintenance wasn't very good. All the surfaces were sticky, and dust and dirt on the floor. There was also a strange smell when you enter the room. Everything just needed a touch up like paint etc. No hand shop for the bathroom sink which I thought was a little odd. Even a small bar would've been nice. Water wasn't replaced in the room. I had to ask reception. The shower takes a good 3-5 minutes to heat up so don't jump in straight away.

• Anonymous (10/5): Came for 10 days and stayed for 30… - It’s a unique design but I loved the details carried throughout the hotel from geometric patterns to the toe in with tropical and beach themes If it was beach front it would have been perfect but it’s only a 10 min walk from the beach and nestled on a main street with supermarkets and a massage place right next door so it’s not much of a dislike as a wish ✨
• Ingrid (9/5): Superb - 5 minute walk down to the beach and in the center of Kamala next to everything - bars, shops, restaurants, money exchanges, 7/11 & grocery stores, etc. the staff were so sweet and decorated our room all special since it was my birthday! The room itself was really nice with a great view of the beach. The bed was really comfortable too. We ate at the restaurant once and got the croissant burger which was really tasty. The rooftop pool was so pretty and overlooked the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay again! The pool bar wasn’t opened which we weren’t aware of and was a reason why we chose this hotel originally. But they did let you order drinks at the restaurant and bring it up to the pool which was good at least.

• Mouna (8/5): I recommend this hotel and I can stay in again if I visit Kamala Beach - I loved the friendliness of the staff 🥰 I felt very comfortable thanks to Fun Fun (with the best boat deals ever!), to Habiba, to Hana and Jack ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you very much guys 🙏 What I didn’t like in the beginning is the fact that when you book through booking on deals they give you the ugliest room ever 😅 But then the friendliness of the staff makes you forget about it (I even got a late check out as gift)
• Michael (8/5): Great staff in spacious Kamala Hotel - Staff were super friendly and helpful. Fun Fun was extremely helpful on organising an amazing trip to Hong Islands and James Bond, not to be missed. Apartment was spacious and beds comfortable. Convenient Big C supermarket nearby which was useful. We weren't the biggest fans of central Kamala, lots of places seem a bit dirty or quite run down. Hotel was on a very busy main road and area surrounding was not the prettiest, which put me off a little from using the pool on the roof.

We also thought the staff where very friendly and helpful especially when we had an issue with our room key not working they would let us into our room straight away with a master key and the door was fixed the following morning before we woke up

• Stefen (8/5): A decent hotel on a busy street ... - The room that I upgraded to - the premium room with balcony - was spacious as was the balcony. We were able to have the A/C on even when we left the room (got two keys from the front desk) which is always a plus in Thailand. The gym was small but had just enough equipment so I could do a bit of a work-out every day. When I checked in, I had planned to upgrade to the bigger room because I realized that the air conditioner in the deluxe room with balcony was right over the bed, which I don't like. But, they wanted to show me the room anyway so I could decide. Well, the room they had planned for me smelled terrible and the A/C had not been on - so it was stuffy and hot. I couldn't understand why they didn't turn it on and aired out the room in advance of my arrival. Anyways, I decided to upgrade for an extra 500 Baht a night, a good decision. The room had only two towels for two people so I kept requesting more since every time house-keeping made up the room, they left us with only two towels. The balcony at the back of the hotel didn't have a great view, but at least it was quiet.

• Andrew (7/5): Decent hotel in a quieter part of Phuket w/ good rooms, great roof top pool/deck, fantastic staff - The beds were comfortable. The room and common areas were clean. The roof top space was the hotel's best feature - by far, with a decent sized pool, comfortable seating, great 360 views, and the makings of a bar with stereo speakers - but the bar was not stocked, manned and there was never music playing. Honestly, the pool/roof top space saved the stay for us. The staff was also fantastic and very helpful. The hotel was conveniently located on the main road, but we never heard any noise from the street. There are plenty of convenience stores and 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes walk. There was a restaurant in the lobby, but we didn't eat there. The room provided bottled water and the staff who tidied the rooms did a great job. Recommendations: excellent dinner option: Tiwa Bar. Amazing $13 USD 60 minute massage (foot and back, etc.): Good Day Massage on Rim Haad Rd. Scooter Rental: Nana Rental Breakfast: Bruschetta Cafe & Bistro (it's a 15 minute drive north from the hotel). The room could have used a bit of an update with a few repairs (chipped floor tiles, damage to the bathroom mirror.). We were surprised when we first entered, because it didn't look as nice as the photos on booking.com. The room had very little natural light - there was an exterior/patio door that lead to a 2 foot by 2 foot space that wasn't inviting at all (small and dark), so we never went out there. There were 2 safes in the room - a large one and a small one. Even after inquiring with the staff, the large didn't work, so we couldn't store our laptop in there. But the small safe worked, which was good for cell phone, passport, wallet, etc. While you couldn't hear noise from the street, you could often hear doors of other rooms closing - and what I think was someone mopping the floor early one morning. All in all it was a fine hotel, but I was a little surprised at the price for the value. If the room was touched up, maybe worth it. Still, we had a very nice time here.

• Malcolm (9/5): One week in the Ratana Platinum - The location is good,with a good rooftop pool and a small gym.Good enough for most short stays.I enjoyed the food from the kitchen,mainly breakfasts plus a couple of lunches,but many options in the immediate neighbourhood. None of the rooms had external windows I believe,so for a long stay it would be a little off putting.They have tried to improve the lighting to compensate I think.The room was of a high standard though.

• Dominic (7/5): Good - You roof top pool and it's view The size of the room and the big comfortable bed Sitting at the hotel front drinking coffee watching the world go by Huge shower The one criticism is my rooms window looked out onto the corridor so no natural light, an upgrade to a room with a window was 1400 baht, the room had already cost 2500 baht a night
• John (9/5): Superb - Comfortable bed nice room, friendly happy staff. Air conditioned unit on balcony could do with some insulation on the brackets, if your 6 foot watch your head.
• Daz (8/5): Ideal location for a short break - Staff were excellent and location is great. My room was located next to the main and very noisy. I overcame this with ear plugs!
• Martyna89 (8/5): Very good - All staff was excellent from first to last minute of our stay. They did their best to make sure we'll have an amazing stay. Room was spacious and clean with bug and comfortable bed. They have a fantastic person organising trips all over Phuket and I'd highly recommend chatting with them. Hotel is located 10 min walk from the beach and you can grab great coffee on the way. Next door massage place provides brilliant service. Room was very loud as it was facing the road. Hotel staff did their best to solve the problem however there were no free rooms to move us. After all, earplugs were the best solution.
• Karen (8/5): Overall great especially due to staff - Staff were very friendly. Responsive on message and helpful with calling from bolt. Pool facility was awesome, clean rooms every morning. Strong aircon and provided bottled water daily Walls were thin, could hear neighbours. Beds were good but the longer we stayed there the more uncomfortable they got. A bit of a distance from beach and slightly older facility, otherwise happy with the stay

• Ali (10/5): Great location great staff and service - It’s was the best and comfortable place staff were very kind and owner aswell I highly recommend this I do think it will get even better especially with the new bar on the roof opening in a few months

• Amelia (8/5): Ok for a few nights - The room was nice and modern. 15 minute walk to the beach. The room smelt of drainage and the balcony overlooked what looked like a builders yard. The rooftop bar was not open.
• Bradley (8/5): Great facilities / Enjoyable stay. - Great hotel team. Friendly and helpful. Facilities were good with roof top pool and gym. Coffees and food was great. Large rooms. Convenient location with short walk to Kamala beach and cafes and restaurants. Road noise..could benefit from double glazing.
