• Cornelia (8/5): Das Dorf ist eine Reise wert. - Sehr nette Besitzer. Sehr hilfsbereit. Wir konnten die Küche benutzen. Liegt am Ende des Dorfes. Hat den Vorteil, dass es ruhig ist.

• Patricia (10/5): Quiet and peaceful. - Leo, the owner of the hotel is so friendly, helpful and kind. He met me at the port and helped me with my bag. Leo is also a guide and took me out on a boat to see the pink dolphins at Lake Tarapoto, and then on to see sloths and other things in the jungle. A fabulous day!!! The hotel is adjacent to the bush. Very peaceful, and a friendly monkey comes every day to accept a banana. Delicious breakfast is available for an extra charge. Leo drew me a map of the village (I’m “old” school, prefer a paper map)😀 My bedroom is very clean and comfortable. Wifi excellent. Puerto Narino is paradise! Thank you Leo for everything! Nothing. Everything was perfect!!
• Brad (9/5): Great rustic location on the edge of the town and jungle. Kind hosts and great excursion to the lak - Breakfast was huge, fresh and excellent. Thanks to the great hosts.
• Cornelia (7/5): Schöner Ort, nette Leute. Tolles, außergewöhnliches Dorf - Etwas außerhalb, schön ruhig, bis auf die Hühner, aber die gibt’s überall. Schöner Garten, Lage direkt am Waldrand. Sehr nette Gastgeber, Zimmer klein und einfach, aber alles da, was nötig ist. Küche groß und gut, aber neue Pfannen braucht es.
• Sherry (9/5): - The location is lovely, and our small room felt like a tiny bunky in the woods. For our 3 nights, the room beside us was vacant so we didn’t share the bathroom or balcony and enjoyed our solitude. Leo was always quick to respond and to help — with little Spanish, we communicated mostly electronically and then could use Google Translate. Leo is a very good guide. We took his pink dolphin and sloth tours and were pleased with both. The sloths are close by but in Peruvian indigenous territory requiring a local guide who Leo briefed well about what we wanted. We didn’t have a good sleep any night because the neighbourhood roosters start crowing loudly and often between 3 and 4am, stopping between 5 and 6 am.
• David (10/5): Beautifully close to the jungle while still in town - It is away from the noise of Puerto Nariños centre, closer to the jungle, we watched monkeys already nearby!! The hotel is quite cute, very clean, and comfortable. Leo looked out for us and took care of all the needs we had. The meals were carefully prepared for our vegan diet. He also shared a couple of his amazing stories with us about a Jaguar and the Water-Jaguar, quite thrilling and humbling. We had a great time and definitely would stay there again in our next visit! None. I am looking forward to the new room that is in construction, it looks great!
• Sibylle (8/5): - Lovely rustic retreat at the edge of the rain forest. Leo and his partner were very welcoming. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio watching monkeys, bright blue butterflies and exotic birds. It was nice to have access to drinking water without having to buy plastic bottles. Coffee in the morning was lovely. While the room windows had screens, tiny no-see-ums still can get into the room. Mosquito nets above the bed would be reassuring. Be aware that there are two aggressive dogs in the neighborhood. Ask Leo about which street to avoid when coming back to Tatüane.

• Guest (10/5): - Leo and Elizabeth are very kind people who own a lovely house right on the border of the jungle. They offer a wide variety of activities, including dolphin watching, night jungle tours, visits to a caiman recovery center, and many more. All the activities I tried were a lot of fun without exception! They also serve a very delicious breakfast.
• Marc (9/5): Miy recomendable - Isabel y Leo son unas grandes personas. Muy atentos y flexibles al adaptarse a tus planes. Puedes pedir desayuno y cena, y esta riquísima. Tambien esta situado en un entorno unico Alojamiento un poco difícil de encontrar, pero preguntando a la gente ya te guian. Ya que no hay mucha cobertura en el pueblo.
• Rafał (10/5): Znakomicie spędzony czas - Właściciele są bardzo uprzejmi, życzliwi i bardzo mili. Oferują różne atrakcje w korzystnych cenach. Pokój był czysty, a dźwięki natury w nocy sprawiały że spałem bardzo dobrze. Wybór hotelu trafiony w 100%

• Mar (9/5): Super, en lisière de jungle - L accueil à l arrivée du bateau L upgrade de chambre L emplacement en lisière de forêt avec les oiseaux et singes à proximité Les hamacs Excellent wifi Les bottes prêtées (merci !) Peu de communication à l arrivée sur la possibilité de prendre les repas sur place (ns avons découvert lors de notre départ 3 jours plus tard!🙃) L’emplaçement, bien que près de la jungle, reste très excentrique du village, qui est tout en montées et descentes prononcées.

• Danielle (10/5): Leo gave us an amazing adventure. - Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.
• Mateusz (10/5): Exceptional - Great hospitality of owners will make us coming back. Leon is an experienced and knowledgable guide who can offer you various types of jungle trips. Our accomodation was humble, but very clean. Super fast wifi connection and hammocks allowed us to chill out a bit and plan next trips.

• Sonja (10/5): Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys being in nature and likes to get to know the regional culture. - Everything! Leo and his family are kind and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is right next to the forest so you hear birds and other nature sounds and you can spot monkeys from the hammock. The food was also really delicious and the tours Leo offers were amazing. Everything was great. You just need to keep in mind that it’s a very humid area (not a “problem” of the hotel, but this is a rainforest after all), so it’s better to bring clothes that’ll dry easy
• Neeley (10/5): Exceptional - Great place on the edge of the village where monkeys 🐒 come to visit. Nice hammock space, fans, and comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Lovely family. I highly recommend staying here. We truly felt like family by the end of our stay. Adding a few modern amenities like a toilet seat, shower head, and door handle/pull to the inside of the door would be nice additions. But, this didn't take away from the stay and only added to the authentic Colombian charm of the place.
