Guest Reviews
- Richard (10/5): An incredible property, miss this and you’ll definitely miss out - Sorry to say, this property ruined us for the rest of our vacation. Wow, absolutely awesome!
A beautiful property in a stunning location with great views.
Extremely clean throughout, great bed linen and towels provided.
Loved the friendly chickens and herb/veg patch.
Wish we could have stayed for longer. Would definitely stop again if possible and highly recommend to other travelers. A personal one really, we would have liked access to a microwave just for other cooking options.
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect for exploring Marlborough wine estates - Lovely spot, welcoming hosts, well set up for two couples to relax and explore local wine estates.
- Rosalyn (9/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful place. - Beautiful location, so peaceful and relaxing, and it was spotlessly clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and we had a warm greeting from our host. Some breakfast items were provided, but not everything (no bread for example). We had food with us, but we would have had to make a trip to the shop if not.
- Dave (10/5): fabulous! - everything!
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb - Very friendly couple running the property who explained everything and made suggestions of what to do nearby with recommendations for wineries.
- Shona (7/5): Good - A large self-contained unit above a storage shed. Set in a quite rural location (Unless they are harvesting grapes) Huge bedroom with small en-suite shower room.
Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions.
Kitchen with everything you need for a few days, Breakfast not included but there were home grown eggs and some muesli provided.
Large gardens with very friendly dog and chickens. Close to a walk along the river.
Would be more economical for 4 people.
Very convenient for the Airport and a few places to eat and taste wine. Cockroaches in the Shower and Fridge.
The basin in the en-suite is way too small for washing or shaving.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (10/5): Perfect, and the host is very helpful for tips of vineyards - Spacious upper floor apartment (only storage below so peaceful) overlooking vineyards with lovely outdoor patio area for guests to laze in sun or shade - great for BBQs.
Surrounded by lots of vineyards for a great day out on bikes, that can be hired nearby at The Vines Village. Nothing
- Antonella (9/5): Beautiful stay close to the wineries. - Spacious apartment with extensive gardens. Close to all wineries and a short drive to Picton. Lovely area downstairs for playing Boules and pre-dinner drinks.
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb -
- Joanne (10/5): Gr location afantails. Lovely friendly helpful hosts. - Great location near the wineries. You can walk along the stop banks by the Wairau River.
- Siu (10/5): Absolutely amazing! You’ll want to move in. - We booked this apartment for the days surrounding our wedding and Andrew and Wendy were such wonderful and accommodating hosts. They welcomed us with open arms and gave great tips of the region. They made us feel so at home, offering us to use their bbq and garden. They even offered to drive us to and from our wedding in case we would like to drink on the day. So sweet! The apartment is just amazing. You have everything you need plus the luxury of your own bathroom per bedroom, airconditioning in all rooms, a great outdoor area and a stunning view. You’re near all the wineries and could possibly even walk to a few nearby places for tastings. I highly recommend staying here for multiple days. After you’ve been here, you’ll want to move in.
- Cindy (10/5): Perfect base amongst the vines - Beautiful location and very comfortable property. Andrew is a wonderful host. Highly recommend staying here and being amongst the vineyards
- Roelie (10/5): Exceptional -
