Guest Reviews
- Agnieszka (10/5): Great night in a clean and comfy apartment - Lovely spacious and great location
- Roberto (8/5): Consigliato - Posizione , parcheggio, pulizia , disponibilità host Scala a chiocciola stretta e scomoda, acqua calda non sempre disponibile
- Ebrahim (8/5): -
- Bradley (10/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Toby (10/5): Excellent location, within a 10 minute walk to multiple social hubs and parts of Birmingham centre. The outside gate mad - Excellent location and perfect for a small break Nothing, I thought it was perfect
- Helen (8/5): Good location for a short stay near the centre of Birmingham. - The property was in a good location for central Birmingham, the Jewellery Quarter and St Paul's Square with plenty of places to eat and drink.
The property was clean and neat, warm and had everything you would need for a short stay.
- Rachel Gillborn (7/5): -
- Grisel (8/5): Buena estadía, lugar muy limpio y comodo -
- Daniel (1/5): No blind on bedroom window, management unresponsive - Location, parking There was no blind on the huge window above the bed and management did nothing about it when I told them
- Helen (7/5): Good value for money in a convenient location - Access by key code was very convenient. Location was excellent. Kitchen well appointed with appliances and mugs, etc I would have liked there to be a sofa or armchair.
Personally I struggled with the steep spiral staircase especially as the bathroom and bedroom are on different floors
- kayleighmason17 (9/5): -
- Seyi (9/5): No issues. Good location - No issues. Good location.
- Goncalo (4/5): Disappointing - Walls really thin, somebody was playing music loudly until like 3am
- Shannon (1/5): Avoid if you can - Keys were easily accessible. Location is by the tram stops The apartment was filthy. It had not been cleaned in a very long time. The dust on the blinds was so thick and the dust on the picture string were awful. The walls were covered in food, dirt and what we think some graces. In the corner of the room there was lid from a bottle of drink that was over a year old as the new lids don’t separate now, the corners of the room were thick with dirt. One towel was stained. The apartment smelled so bad. We honestly couldn’t describe how filthy this place was I definitely would not recommend. The stairs to get to your bed is tiny and so dangerous there is dirt all over the walls going up and the stair case is filthy. The bed feels like is will break and in general feels like a slum. Wasted money to be honest
- Bokani (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient and clean. Nothing
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (4/5): Good location, good host communication. Facilities need more thought. - Location Needed more comforts …. Bottles of water, more tea / cofffeee, bin upstairs, shampoo and body wash in shower. Downstairs heating didn’t work.
- Gaius (9/5): Great place to stop in for the night, clean and modern! - Clean, comfortable and totally enclosed from anyone else. During cleaning a large sock was not removed from the smoke alarm, I made them aware it was there.
- Miaozi (6/5): Pleasant -
- James (7/5): Excellent value for money, v close to centre - ideal if you're on a budget! - Great location, excellent value for money, very clean, responsive hosts Curtains would be more effective than blinds, the bathroom is downstairs which is a rather incovenient
- Jadyn (9/5): Superb -
- Dileep (3/5): Poor - Apartment inside was good..good kitchen with required things..bedroom was clean
Heating good
Accessible location from station
Rooms in ok size and as shown in pics Bathroom drains not working in the shower..water not draining
No hot water in kitchen and bathroom wash basin
- Eva (9/5): Superb -
- X (10/5): Exceptional - It was very cosy and warm I was obsessed with the stairs Nothing
- Adeola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (6/5): Okay stay for one night - Property was clean, good location, good kitchen facilities The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. The blind was broken and did not close properly. The spiral staircase felt very rickety and unsafe, would not recommend for anyone with slight mobility issues.
- Claire (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (9/5): Great location and good value for money - Everything you needed and great location for a quick walk into the centre The bed..
- Daniel (7/5): Good - Location was brilliant, good facilities inside. Heating worked well and heated everywhere nicely. Easy to navigate access. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and was quite noisy. The stairs inside were not very easy to climb (we know there isn’t much space for bigger stairs). The heating for downstairs does heat up the stairs so can sometimes get a little hot under foot.
- Bella (10/5): Loved it - As someone who lives in airbnbs/hotels this place was one of the Loveliest I’ve ever stayed. Thank you host. So clean, so inviting loved it! Stairs are narrow but as a solo female this didn’t bother me
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Carl (8/5): Very good -
- Beverley-ann (7/5): The appointment did the job with a few unnecessary challenges - There were 2 things I didn't like getting the final details on entering the property on the morning of our arrival where I work we have very poor reception of emails and almost didn't receive all the details on how to gain entry. I possibly missed the details of booking parking at the appartment early we had to pay for parking as all parking had already been booked.
- Paul (1/5): Bad -
- Peter (7/5): Pleasant enough stay. - Venetian blind in bedroom is not at all effective at keeping ambient light out and the room was not dark at night- eyeshades needed.
- Shamilah (10/5): Epic - The place was ace
Clean and on point The stairs
Really made me feel scared
- Stuart (6/5): Pleasant - The security, Could have done with some squash as I don't really drink tea & coffee very often, struggled with the blind in the bedroom just to get darkness
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, easy to get to and good value Slight smell upon arrival, but may be from outside
- Rossana (9/5): Nice and clean apartment with parking, close to the city centre - Nice and cosy apartment with great facilities, close to the city centre and with secure parking. Very clean. Good value for money.
- Dominik (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location
- Shuhel (5/5): Passable -
- David (8/5): Very good - Nice place, booked last minute following original booking being a scam. Good facilities and parking a nice touch Stairs are very narrow
- James (7/5): good value clean apartment close to city centre - location and included parking steep narrow stairs to bedroom. this is not an apartment for a romantic break or for anyone with limited mobility
- Cassidy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olivia (8/5): Very good -
- Perry (7/5): Good - Stairs.
- Simon (8/5): Felt homely - Cute & warm
- Sue (10/5): So close to the city 15 minute walk or bus out the front - Everything. Beautiful apt. Incredibly clean and so secure for car and us Nothing
- Amanda (8/5): Great central location - A great property in a central Birmingham. Has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There was no sofa and the winding staircase was small and hard to use.
- Vanessa (7/5): Good - Secure parking
Furnishings and kitchen provisions
Effective heating
Quiet in the heart of the city No heating on on arrival - window open so it was 13 degrees inside!
Warning about just HOW narrow/steep/precarious the spiral staircase is.
Location a little sketchy for the uninitiated/lone travellers but we know the city well so weren't surprised.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good -
- Magdalena (9/5): Lovely pleasant stay, easy quick access and good location. - Everything was nice and clean, the bed sheets smelt so good, best smelling sheets I have ever smelt at any place I have booked before. The stairs that lead to the bedroom are very steep but thats something you get used to quite quickly.
- Mike (8/5): Excellent value superbly equipped - superb value for money , very clean and modernised, nice touches like biscuits milk tea. In an area to be rebuilt the other side of the railway arch the area around St Pauls would rival South Kensington! Very nice pub/gastronomy three doors down. I watch Aston Villa play but lose 3-1 Could not get BBC1 or ITV from the TV. Too complicated for me, Seemed to want me to join netflicks. Need instructions on how to look just at the news
tight spiral staircase not so easy to climb, but i left my suitcase downstairs as bathroom is downstairs
- Pradeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tiffiny (8/5): Great. Would stay again - Great space clean tidy all necessary amenities available Loud generator noise in the building woke me up at 2am
- Karlie (8/5): Great stay - Lovely little apartment. Close to city centre and good parking. Staff were really helpful and made sure everything was ok with our stay.
It had Everything you needed. Bed super comfy. Would recommend a full mirror as there is only little mirrors in bedroom.
There was also a fan outside which was quite loud at times but it can't be helped.
- Tiffiny (9/5): Great overall would stay again for sure. - Great location. Beautifully decorated and clean. Helpful hosts. Weak shower pressure. Street noise.
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional - Location and size of apartment, good facilities better than expected. Our accommodation wad changed at short notice, which could have been disastrous but got a great apartment all the same, it wasn't ready when we were advised it would be but offered a complimentary drink whilst we waited.
- Wendy (10/5): Brilliant - would absolutely stay here again as it was immaculate, and parking was excellent. - Super accommodation - spotlessly clean, amazingly comfortable bed and beautiful bedroom. Kitchen had everything needed (also spotlessly clean), and the owners had left a hamper of tea and biscuits which was a lovely touch. I was worried when we first pulled up as the apartments are around the back of the building and I thought we'd come to the wrong place, but it turned out to be excellent. We had very secure parking for the car (behind security gates). Communications with the owner was brilliant. Overall it exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Driving in Birmingham! Yikes!
