- paula (1/5): - Nada Todo
- Krzysztof (1/5): - Za piierwszym razem, widoki z dachu i śniadania.
- Kostas (4/5): - The location was perfect, just outside the piramids entrance. I booked 1 month ago.I went to the hotel and they told me that I cancelled my booking. Then they transferred me to another hotel maybe owned by them. The second hotel was lower quality. Good for an 80's installation but it seemed to be falling apart. It looked like it was abandoned. Crumbling walls, damp everywhere. I came to Cairo for a specific job and I thought it wasn't worth the trouble to bother more because it would be pointless.I left in the morning and came back in the evening. I stayed 4 nights, no one came to change the sheets or clean. While I had a credit of 10 dollars a day from booking, one evening I wanted to drink a coffee on the terrace. I finished my coffee and started to leave. A worker, one of the many minors who worked there, urgently asked me to pay. I told him that I had a credit of 10 dollars and finally, because I had an appointment, I suggested that he charge the room and talk to someone in charge in the morning. He almost blocked my exit from the place with his body. After about 10 minutes and after talking to someone in charge, he allowed me to leave. In the morning, the receptionist apologized but they had already ruined my mood. They offered to sell activities, visits and excursions which I refused as well as buying souvenir perfumes and papyrus. The hotel lobby especially in the morning hours was a mess. The best of all was the morning of my departure. My driver came at 06.00. I had gone down to the lobby 15 minutes earlier. It was dark everywhere and the door was locked. I called for someone to open but no answer. I turned on the lights to check if someone was sleeping behind the 2 doors, which were actually toilets. Finally the receptionist was sleeping on a chair, having thrown a jacket over his face. I thought someone had just put the jacket there but I realized it was the evening employee who was just sleeping.
- Esther (8/5): - Great view on pyramids from roof top and room, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing negative, this area is still developing, so plan accordingly.
- Elmoatazbellah (2/5): -
- Andrea Melinda (10/5): Tiszta szívvel ajánlom mondenkinek. Legközelebb sem választok más helyet, csakis ide jövök vissza újra!! - Imádom ezt a szállodát! Szerintem Giza legjobb szállodája! A szobák fantasztikusak, a kilátás a tetőtől elmondhatatlanul fantasztikus!
- Rachael (10/5): Amazingly wonderful ❤️❤️ - Firstly let me say this review is for the hotel Cleopatra that is right opposite the sphinx gate entrance not to be confused with Cleopatra tower hotel.
Wow wow wow wow wow what an experience this was. I'm a female solo traveller and I stayed 6 wonderful nights.
On day 2 I lost my phone and on day 4 I lost my wallet and let me tell you Sultan and Ahmed did everything in their power to get my belongings returned. What lovely helpful and charming people who run this hotel are. Sultan looked after me every day, nothing was a problem and always willing to help when I needed it.
Now if your looking for luxury this is not the hotel for you. If you're looking for a good base to visit all the sites then it's perfect.
My room was clean and spacious, equipped with everything I needed.
Breakfast was cooked every morning to perfection.
Now the absolute top thing about this hotel is THAT view!!! Nothing beats waking up every morning and having the Great Sphinx look you right in the eyes!! Surrounded by the great pyramids!! And watching the sun go down behind the pyramids is a site I will behold forever. I can't wait to see you all again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Absolutely nothing ❤️❤️❤️
- Bryce (7/5): Worth every penny………Great view, good breakfast and lovely staff -
- Mahmood (10/5): Best pyramid view hotel in Giza - The view of pyramids from the room aswell the roof. Best straight view of the 3 pyramids Need to keep a little more clean. Floor and furniture was in dust
- Monica (10/5): Great stay and very cheap!! - Location, staff, view
- Mathew (9/5): Great place - The views are exceptional and everyone is friendly and helpful. Comfortable room with great air-conditioning. The only negative things are outside of the hotels control, the noise from barking dogs at night making sleep difficult, and occasional power outages in the area.
- Enrique (9/5): Superb - Nice view and staff
- Ronald (6/5): The top location compensates - very helpful and supportive personal and of course a room with a view, and what a great view. Breakfast made fresh at the rooftop. the offer said, including airport transfer, which I had to pay (twice the Uber rate). However, the driver was such a great and service minded person. I arrived 9 p.m. and my room was not ready. Can happen but should not. Again however, the team at the reception has been extremely friendly. WLAN did not work next morning.
- Molly (10/5): Amazing location- can’t get a better view. Just infront of the sphinx entrance to the pyramids. Good facilities includin -
- Marcin (5/5): Extremely stressful stay - The location is amazing right in front of the pyramids and Sfinks. You can watch it day and night directly from your room. The room is renovated in nice cozy style.
Close to main attractions.
Nice view from the rooftop restaurants. Apart from the room which was very nice and with perfect view everything else was a permanent stress and misunderstanding.
It was 2 night (1 full day) stay. We booked the tours with the hotel. Firstly, in the middle of the night (much after midnight) the hotel called us saying that the tour price is doubled, even though the price was agreed in written form. It was sleepless night before the morning tour.
We had no choice and decided to go for it. In the morning we were waiting for the tour guide who was 1 hour late. When we were asking the hotel where is the guide they were explaining that in the bank right next to the hotel but after half an hour they put as into the taxi to wait another half an hour on a highway outside the town so apparently guide was not in the bank. After 5.5h of a full day tour the guide told us that this is the end even though we did not visit all the agreed places (agreed in written form). After argue he finally tried to take us to the remaining spot (Dahshur pyramid). But he and the driver lost the way and did not make it on time.
Their feedback was that it is all our fault because we were not keeping the time or reminding them what we want to visit (I am not Local person so how they expect from a tourist to tell them what time they close).
It happens but what was the worst was that everything happened in unpleasant and claiming atmosphere. We would not miss the last spot if the guide was not delayed by 1h, did not make us spend 1h in local shop to buy very expensive things which we do not need, would not miss the way to Dahshur (it was experienced guide and cousin of the hotel manager , this pyramid is one of nearest top highlits). And it was in the atmosphere of constant repeating that it is our fault that he was late, our fault that it is so late, our fault that he took us somewhere else. Generally all our fault.
- Padharia (8/5): Very good -
- Garth (3/5): Egypt A one time experiance and never again. - The roof top View. The extra transportation cost that was supposed to be included in the reservations, to and from the Airport. I was told Booking.com made A mistake. 😏 Ya really. I would only stay in this Hotel for No more than two days, and move on to A resort. Be prepared for scams and Take A pocket full of 1€ or 1 Dollar Bills. Walk to the pyramids and take nothing for free from anyone and Ride No camels or buggy rides. (walk). I would also advise not to leave your Partner alone and If your A women you better watch out and trust nobody.
- Kristina (10/5): Exceptional - Good location just in front of the pyramids. Staff is really nice, I got my breakfast even a bit after the designated time.
- Tom (8/5): Great starting location for visiting Gizah - +++ Breakfast on the hotel roof while watching Sphinx and Pyramids was breathraking every morning
++ clean sheets
++ very friendly hotel manager and staff
++ ATM in the hotel if you want to withdraw Egyptian Pounds
++ 20 Meters from Gizah plateau entrance
+ secure area (police is patrolling nearby Pyramids entrance) - bathroom towel cleanliness should be improved
- shower leaked water
- no hooks to hang Jackets or, in the bathroom, towels; should be improved, it is an easy fix
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Great location next to the Pyramids. Views from the room and roof top restaurant. Big comfortable room. Fridge and kettle for tea in the room. Good breakfast with pyramid views. Great value for money.
- Ting (10/5): Excellent location and view of the pyramids. Good soundproofing not noisy - Great view from room. Owner and staff were accommodating
- Edos (8/5): Acceptable for a short stay. And worth the price for its location. - The room has a big window facing the Sphinx and Pyramids. You can watch the light show at night. And has a rooftop bar. A little rundown hotel but the price is acceptable. Needs renovations and maintenance.
- Athanasios (10/5): Atta was an amazing host, the view was the best in Cairo. Service was great as well. - Atta was an amazing host, nothing was too hard for him, and he always had an answer for everything which is great, because it's exactly what we needed, the most amazing view from our window ever, fell in love with the place we left the curtains open, just so we can watch the pyramids in case our eyes opened in the middle of the night. to see that view Couldn't help it, but had to walk up 2 flights of stairs every time we went to our room, but worth the view .
