• Kutlwano (9/5): All in all our stay was peaceful & great . Would definitely book again. - The location , very close to everything. It’s very quiet & peaceful. It was clean , although the sofa wasn’t properly checked as we found a bone. Support responds quickly. Only one tissue was offered for two people for 5 nights. Also ran out of hot water on the 5th & 6th day (would have been great if the flow controlled geyser was explained upon arrival).

• Nobuhle (2/5): Travellers be careful. - The location Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience I booked this apartment through Booking.com based entirely on the listing, which appeared to show a clean, well-maintained unit with functional, good-condition furniture. I checked in on Monday evening and immediately found that the apartment was grossly misrepresented. The unit was not properly cleaned for occupancy — the carpet was visibly dirty and stained, and overall cleanliness was below any acceptable standard. Multiple lights were not working, and most concerning, the couch was in a severely damaged and unusable condition, with disintegrating foam and exposed springs. This is not “wear and tear” — it is furniture that is not fit for purpose. I raised these issues immediately and spent the entire night trying to reason with the host, but their responses were inadequate. They initially admitted that the listing photos were taken when the apartment was first listed and that there had been wear and tear over time. This clearly confirms that the listing reflects a newer, better-maintained version of the apartment than what is currently being offered. Despite this, they later contradicted themselves and denied any misrepresentation, instead claiming the pricing reflects the condition — which is simply not true. The rate charged is consistent with properly maintained and honestly advertised apartments, not units in this state. A maintenance person was only sent the next morning, which did nothing to address the fact that I had already spent a night in unacceptable conditions. After he arrived to check the lights, I had to leave the key with him due to work commitments. From that point onward, the host completely ignored all further communication and failed to confirm whether any refund would be processed. I spent the entire day trying to get a response — even involving Booking.com — and was advised to remain in the unit as I had no alternative accommodation.

• ngcobo (8/5): - The place was clean, spacious and it was near alot of amenities. Couldn't hear any of your neighbors felt like we were the only ones in the area. The view was wonderful.
• Kathija (7/5): Good - The space was great overall. There was a musty smell that I could not get rid of in the bedroom. Could be the humidity and with no air conditioning the mustiness remains

I felt right at home during my stay and would highly recommend it I didn’t appreciate the alarm on Sunday morning—it was very loud and kept going on repeatedly, which was quite disruptive.

I was not happy with the place where the bedroom was, just as you enter the room. I thought the bedroom was at the end of the room as per your advertising and where a person can see the view outside when relaxed in the bedroom.

• Sandeep (8/5): Clean, cozy and location! - The location and convenience is perfect, you won't find better, cozy and comfortable. Could use a small airconditioning even if just in room might help, and I understand it is catered for 2 people only in this unit, but having even 3 or 4 items of each kitchen item will help. You don't need to wash every single time you want something.
• Mário (3/5): Great location, but if you are expecting air conditioned rooms and cockroachless apartment, then this is Not for you! - The property was clean and in a good location. - Air conditioner only cools down the kitchen area and a little of the lounge, the rooms are not air conditioned, and really really hot. -The apartment is infested with cockroaches, they are all over the place, disgusting situation. - The hot water for the shower has been ajusted so that only one person can shower after that there is no more hot water for anyone else. - The bathroom had a really bad smell of urine, we tried to mask it, but it was bad.
• Thabo (4/5): Overall - not great at all. Cheap but cockroaches are just NOT ACCEPTABLE. The place is full of roaches - the owner need - Cool space Lots of cockroaches in the kitchen. We couldn’t even keep food there so had to spend extra eating out. LOTS OS ROACHES 2. The 2nd Bedroom is so hot home can sleep there - it’s right next to the AC unit and outdoor - no human can slee p there cause of the heat. We had to go out and buy a fan for the room. Overall - very poor to fair stay!

Club across the road, which caused some disturbance during one of our nights. Unit had a gas geyser which did not work very well.

• Mhlongo (10/5): - The level of quickness to respond to anything was paramount for me. Always willing to assist. It's not anyone's fault, but it was the hot water system. I didn't know how to get it right at first. It would get cold and didn't know what to do to get it right. Fortunately, I contacted the host and I was assisted very quickly.
• Bongz (7/5): Nice location - It was clean when we got there, had enough cutlery and iron and all the stuff we needed. The location was perfect and close to the mall, Umhlanga beach and very close to Cappelo. We paid for a cleaning, but they only cleaned when we left, which I am assuming is for the next person. It would be nice to at least come once and clean the places while we are out. We had to reuse the towels, and the couch was very uncomfortable.

For 1st time visitors, please clarify that the parking bay has the number of the apartment you will be staying in. The access code didn't work on the main sliding door by the pedestrian entrance.

• Wayne (5/5): even though the apartment was fine i will not stay there again because of the noise and loud music - The apartment was clean and even had a washing machine so i l could wash my clothes but what spoilt it entirely was the loud music during the day and night up to 2am in the morning. the building is shared by holiday makers and permanant residents making it extremely hard to control. Very noisy at night with lots of music and party goers until 2am and screaming kids in the mornings from 06h30am.
