• Jelle (6/5): - Direct aan het strand/zee. 2 leuke restaurants voor ontbijt, lunch en diner naast het hotel. Babybedje had geen versteviging onder het matrasje, hierdoor ligt je kindje raar in het bedje. Rond het zwembad heel veel leguanen, als je iets te eten hebt komen ze het afpakken. Jáco is geen een leuk plaatsje om doorheen te lopen.

• freek (6/5): Eenvoudig gedateerd hotel op toplocatie. - Locatie, zwembad, bewaakt terrein en vriendelijkheid personeel. Geen optie tot ontbijt. Hoge kamerprijs in verhouding tot kwaliteit. Gedateerd en versleten faciliteiten; meubilair; gescheurde tuinkussens, tuinstoelen, verroeste stalen onderdelen, zwembad etc.

• Silvana (10/5): Super schönes kleines Hotel in toller Lage - Die Lage ist super, leider kann man dort am Strand nicht baden, aber der Strand ist trotzdem sehr schön. Das Hotel hat eine tolle Stimmung. In der Nähe gibt es ein tolles Strandrestaurant wo man den Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Und hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Die Kinder haben sich sehr über den Pool gefreut.

Broken patio door and closed with a piece of metal tubing. Broken shower door so water sprayed everywhere. $200 a night.

• DENISE (10/5): I’d go back !! - Very clean. Room was spacious. On the beach. Pool was clean. Nearby several restaurants. It is right on the highway. Truck drivers use their compression brakes right near the hotel. It was quiet between 1:30 am and 4:30 am though
• Monique (9/5): Mooie locatie, fijn verblijf - Mooie locatie aan Playa Hermosa! Vlakbij het hotel zaten heel veel ara's in de bomen, die komen ook overvliegen, geweldig om te zien. Idyllisch plekje, niet te toeristisch. De zee heeft een sterke stroming maar is wel prachtig. Mooie grote kamers, lekker zwembadje. Er is geen restaurant aanwezig maar we kregen goede tips voor een leuk restaurantje direct naast de deur, met heerlijk ontbijt. Wij verbleven hier als stop vanuit het zuiden, onderweg terug naar de luchthaven, daarvoor een uitstekende plek! Medewerkers waren erg vriendelijk, meedenkend en flexibel.

• David (10/5): pefect little boutique hotel on the beach, nice quiet spot - great little boutique hotel, we had the back room facing the beach which must be the best room as we can see the sea from the patio, and walk to the pool and beach easily. the room is plenty big enough for 4, and the patio is large you can walk to a mini market, and some bars restraunts,, its less commerical as jaco , but easy to get to jaco to surf. nothing i didnt like

• Stacy (10/5): - Loved being by the beach, and these were the most comfortable beds we slept on of our entire trip. Restaurants are within walking distance too. There is street noise, but after the first night, it wasn't that noticeable. The location was so great, I would stay here again.
• Pedro Miguel Ponces de Carvalho (8/5): Espaço e conforto na melhor zona da playa Formosa. - O tamanho do quarto e a localização, com a área de lazer de frente para o mar na melhor zona da praia. A fauna espetacular que o rodeia, com diversas araras, esquilos, iguanas, etc. É muito aconchegante, embora o quarto estivesse a precisar de alguma manutenção.

• Lindsay (10/5): - Beautiful location, beautiful rooms. The view and sound of the beach was lovely. We enjoyed the access to the beach, watching the surfers, and using the swimming pool and outdoor showers. The staff were always helpful. It was very quiet. The restaurant, Vida Hermosa, was outstanding as well. No complaints. Will definitely come back.
• Stacy (10/5): Relaxing one night stay with beautiful surroundings. - We absolutely loved our stay. The beach was amazing and our room was perfectly located next to pool and beach. Our friends had the room next door as requested. We did not want to leave!! Walked to a restaurant for breakfast which was very good and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the stocked fridge as well. That we couldn't stay longer!

• Thomas (7/5): - The beds are very comfortable, with memory foam topper! Great AC and shower. Very fast Wi-Fi. The hotel is very clean overall and well maintained. They had an issue putting my credit card through two days before arrival. Sent a screenshot of card denied through booking. horrible timing. They agreed to hold off to pay at arrival after a few exchanges and before it got too spicy. Two other hotels I booked had no issues so I confirmed with Chase bank and they had no record of any charges being denied. Hopefully they get their credit processing issues resolved. It was annoying and I did not book a additional night for this reason. This property is very very small, long but narrow foot print in front of the main highway. there's a very small parking lot, the small pool is several feet from the rooms patio window. I heard the chainsaw out front at 8:20 a.m. and the kids in the pool at 9:00 . The check-in also is a bit unrealistic at 4:00 p.m. when you're traveling that could be a problem. I didn't notice that when booking but I adjusted my schedule. Also there's no breakfast, you get two pods of coffee per room after that it's two bucks a pod. You really need to get in your car to go to a decent breakfast place a mile down the road or Jaco. There's a hotel next door but the breakfast there is a rip off.

The waves are very strong, perfect for surfing but dangerous for kids or people that don't know how to swim. Something the hotel has no control of it but the pool is perfect .. also there is no restaurant in the premises but there are few walking distance places that serve good food .. 😊

• Sandra (9/5): Wonderful views & relaxing vibe - Beautiful view, nice pool, relaxing and cozy. Bed was comfortable, AC was working well. Rooms were clean. Views from balcony great. Might be noisy because of the road. Hotel can’t do much with it. If you are sensitive take your earplugs with you :) Note for the hotel: you should have earplugs available for your guests at the reception in case they want it. Little item which may save you annoyed sensitive guests.
• Susan (6/5): The hotel was well kept and clean but it was totally overpriced for what we got. They even charged $2/pod o make cof - The property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were so high that one could not be comfortable. The balcony had no recliner lounges - only a picnic table and uncomfortable couch. The pool was beautiful but no room for chairs around it. The only chaises were in the sun and difficult to shade. They also did not provide any chairs for the beach. Also, I found the lack of a restaurant (which I did know) was not a good decision.
