• Mary (1/5): Terrible stay and terrible customer service. - If you’re into bed bugs, then this is the place for you. We couldn’t get into the room at the agreed time because they were still cleaning—had the mattresses out on the floor… should have known. Late that night found beg bugs in the bed and our family of four all had to sleep on a single pull-out couch downstairs, using towels for linen, A miserable night. Terrible bites that latest for weeks. The property feigned ignorance and banked our money—no concession, not even an apology. Booking.com didn’t care either and continues to list this property despite numerous complaints in these comments. It’s a disgrace. If you’re using Booking.com, understand that it’s all on you, they are an order-taker only and take no responsibility, agency, care or fiduciary duty with the properties they list or customer service after the fact.
• Mayk (1/5): The worst apartment ever!!! - This is a warning about the accommodation. The accommodation is infected with bedbugs. It seems like the Bedbugs been staying there for some time because they’re got various sizes. The Landlord is endeavouring to find a solution. we told him about the bedbugs and he gave us another accommodation but the alternative is not in the old town and there is only one double bed (and an armchair bed). Not like the original accommodation. The Landlord told us there is no option that we get our money back. So at the end we didnt had an place to sleep and lost our money. Insofar => Recommendation: stay away from this apartment!

• Sabine (1/5): Wir mussten letztlich woanders buchen. - Der Vermieter ließ uns über eine halbe Stunde warten und hat uns schließlich die Schlüsselübergabe verweigert. Trotz wiederholter Bitten ließ er sich nicht umstimmen und behauptete, wir hätten die Unterkunft gecancelt. Daher möchten wir das Geld zurück !!! Siehe oben
• Angelika (1/5): Worst place ever stay away!! - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! ITS FULL OF BED BUGS!! This place was a complete nightmare! Our other hotel had cancelled on us so we booked this las minute without checking the reviews! Big mistake. Firstly they brought us to an apartment nothing like the pictures. The stairs were broken. Everything was dirty from the bedsheets to the fridge. Since we had 3 kids and my old mother we had no choise but to stay! That was our second mistake. We woke up in the middle of the Night having bed bugs crawling all over us! We left the apartment early in the morning. We have tried getting our money back through booking.com but the owner wont answer. I have no idea why this place is still available on booking.com since I Can now read we are not the only one with this problem. Everything !!!!

Upon arrival, we discovered a serious bed bug infestation. There were dozens of insects visible, and we were bitten multiple times. We have clear photos and videos as proof. The place was completely unhygienic and unfit for guests. When we contacted the host, he denied the problem and offered no help or refund. We had no choice but to sleep in our car, as staying in the apartment was impossible. This caused us a lot of stress, discomfort, and ruined part of our vacation. We have submitted a formal complaint to local health and tourism authorities and will be following up. This place should not be listed or rented out until it is professionally disinfected and declared safe. Avoid this apartment at all costs.
• Jakob (1/5): Bed bug infestation - Location is good The apartment is completely covered in bed bugs. If you sleep here you will get bitten and your clothes and luggage will be ruined! See the pictures I post below. We had to evacuate the apartment during the night because of the bed bugs. I tried to tell this to the owner and request a refund but he completely avoids responsibility and doesn’t even answer me. I have reported this to booking to make sure no one else books this apartment since it will ruin your luggage and give you bites.
• Debra (1/5): Bed Bug infestation! Plus 26 False claims in the description of the accommodations. - Located in the old town Bed bug infestation!! I have never seen so many bed bugs in my life and hope to never again! This accommodations is two floors and the bed bugs were on both levels and numerous. The host, Pero, was aware of this situation which made the experience even more infuriating. Numerous bites to all four of us. The description and offerings has numerous false claims. I reported 26 false claims from Pero's description posted on line on the Booking.com site to Booking.com. I also questioned some directly with Pero with no resolve or acknowledgment of wrong doing. There is a completely broken window. Glass missing form the window! Pero told us that it was nothing. Pero offered my full refund if I did not write a negative review or report this accommodations to Booking.com. Unfortunately for the customer Pero told us that he owns 51 properties in the Dubrovnik area. I'm wasn't clear if all were located in the old town or not. I'm not able to upload a video of the bed bugs walking everywhere unfortunately! Walls included! Because of the time of the night we realized the infestation of bed bugs we were not able to secure a different accommodations so we spent the night in our car. All part of the adventures of travel.

They allowed us to store our luggage and were flexible with check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the accommodation was not hygienic. While we were okay with it being simple and basic, we were bitten by bedbugs while sleeping on the top bunk. It also felt like the towels and bedding hadn’t been properly sanitized. My body is now covered in bites. I would recommend being cautious when booking, which is a shame because we initially really liked the place.

• Vee (8/5): Very good - The location of this property was amazing. A few stairs but worth it. We absolutely reveled in being able to stay in the middle of the beatutiful old town. Our host was responsive when we encountered a bit of a challenge which we really appreciated. The property is inside the city walls and requires that you walk in so make sure you only bring what you need. It was a great spot from which to explore the old town.

• Robert (3/5): Poor - Location was perfect as it is in the Old Town. Owner was helpful with questions as we booked the accommodation the day before. Cleanliness of the apartment is okay. Cupboard in the bedroom was of unorganised clutter. It was our first time seeing bed bugs during our travel experiences in europe. The lower bed was full of it, so was planning to sleep on the sofa downstairs but thankfully the upper bed was fine. Thankfully we were only staying here for a night.

We're a family of 6 so space was limited, but I expected that when booking - it's precisely as described. • Irene (10/5): Great location, Welcoming and Helpful owner. - The property is situated in a very great location in the old town. It was clean and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. Needs better Towels and a blanket/duvet available when’s not summer. We were a bit cold in the night.
• Nascimento (10/5): an oasis in the heart of an oasis - before anything else, we must say the host was amazing, going the extra stretch to make our stay perfect. location superb, with fruit trees at the window, extremely quiet surroundings despite being in the heart of the old town. the only noises we could hear were the bells of the cathedral tolling. very close to the beach, to several grocery stores and restaurants, and even the food delivery reached us in a matter of minutes. our stay could have been longer. nobody's fault but mine for not planning to spend a whole season instead of just a couple of days.

Lovely man met us and took us to parking he had arranged. However took us to a different property than we had booked. Tried to fob it off and make one of us sleep on a sofa bed. After being challenged offered us an extra room. Had we not challenged he would have left us with one bed and a sofa bed. Lovely man but gives “money grabbing” vibes. Be honest and less sneaky and we would have been fine. The property/rooms were actually lovely. I was annoyed and wouldnt have left a review normally from a mediocre experience, however he whatsapped me days after asking for a review so here it is. Property wasnt as advertised but was great location

Peter was a very friendly host and easy to communicate with, which made our experience seamless. The house was spacious, spotless, and provided everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to the main attractions and just a 10-minute walk to the bus station. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Dubrovnik!

• Peder (8/5): Super location in old town, friendly owner - We were met by Pero, who followed us to the place in Old Town, helped us with the luggage, and even stopped to make guidings on the way! He was friendly and energetic, always easy to contact, and do service. Apartement was good and location perfect, so close to everything , but still just outside the buzz, very quiet and safe. There was fridge, nicely renovated bathroom and good beds. Next day he helped is with luggage storage. Due to renovation we swapped rooms from what we ordered, but the new was just as good, and Pero offered us a choice even. We were happy.

Less than 2 minute walk to Buža Bar and in the heart of the old town. There was a luggage storage location 2 minutes down the street where my group was able to store our luggage for the day after our stay and explore. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The host was very kind, communicative, and accommodating. Helped to arrange pick up from ferry and rides to airport. Older building could use some upgrades in the bathroom. However, this is expected considering we were staying in the old town and the buildings are old lol

The apartment had clearly not been cleaned it was very dirty with dust, old food under the sofa and cobwebs. The property owner was defensive when I commented on this and did not offer a solution. The air con worked but it didn’t cool the apartment effectively.

Immediately on arrival, they showed us the hotshots of split on the map. We arrived a bit early but the staff made sure our room was ready on arrival. Breakfast was brought to our room. Beds were so comfortable that it was hard to get out of bed in the morning 😉. I can highly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay in Split.

We had a huge problem with cockroaches - one was inside the wardrobe (which was also extremely cluttered and we couldnt use it), one was on the wall in the bedroom and the last one fell on my head when we were checking out! Apartment’s owner didnt consider it as anything unusual. What is more - wasching machine had a mold inside, and hot water didnt last long - enough for 1 person to take shower, but not for the group of three (due to the description apartment is adapted for even 6 people). Owner’s vivid imagination is enviable - when it comes to apartments’ facilities listed. Continental breakfast? 24/7 reception? Concierge? If one of cockroaches is not hired as a concierge, I have no idea who could it be.
• Jenny (6/5): Great location but needs major maintenance - The location is fantastic! It’s in the middle of old town Dubrovnik, all super close and in walking distance. Yet the apartments is located in a very quiet street, so that sleep won’t be disturbed by noises from restaurants etc. The apartment is spacious and has everything needed. The host/manager was very friendly, helpful and responsive. He always texted back immediately. Unfortunately, the apartment wasn’t very clean. A major deep cleaning would be required to make it comfortable again. The closets are all cluttered with stuff such as paint cans and cleaning supplies. No room to put clothes. The bathroom had a weird smell and the washing machine was moldy on the inside. The kitchen, especially the dishes were not really usable since most supplies and the inside of the cupboards were rather filthy. The couch had all kinds of stains on it. The bed had no mattress cover, the sheet was straight on the mattress. - this was only changed after the second cleaning which we requested since we stayed for a whole week. Looking too close into corners and details just revealed that cleaning was only done superficially. We also had a cockroach visitor.

Very comfortable and cool Airbnb and the owner brought us right to the location and told us what to explore and where to eat in Dubrovnik. Nothing, honestly it was a great experience.
