• Ida Marie (8/5): Staff were excellent, very helpful by all means and responds promptly. Space is small but cozy. Good for short stay - Cozy place, very good staff, beautiful surroundings. A bit small space, can be difficult toilet/bath use because of the limited water but staff will help if needed. Coffee would be nice if available, as it’s difficult to buy and there are no shops nearby.
• Noah (10/5): The cozy accommodation had everything you could ask for and the owners were very accommodating - It was a very cozy hut with all the essentials provided. The family that runs it were extremely friendly and also operate a taxi service so you can get to town since it is quite remotely located. They were very accommodating letting us buy supplies from the local supermarket right after picking us up from the airport.

• Harald (10/5): - Unser Gastgeber war fantastisch! Er hat sich um alles gekümmert wenn wir etwas brauchten! Auch die Sauna war fantastisch! Es ist ein super Ort um Mal von der Hektik runter zu kommen! Das Apartment ist für 5 Nächte ein bisschen zu klein, da man mehr Gebäck mit hat und dieses fast keinen Platz dann hat! Bei längeren Aufenthalt würde ich die neu Gebauten Apartment empfehlen!

• DANIEL (10/5): Amazing place - Todo, el lugar es hermoso y las vistas impresionantes. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver las auroras boreales desde nuestra cabaña. La cabaña es moderna y espaciosa, tiene todo lo que necesitas, incluida una cocina full equipada. Regresariamos sin duda.
• Katja (10/5): Wunderbar gemütliches Plätzchen in Mitten der Natur - Die Lage der kleinen Hütte ist ein Traum. Wir hatten einen 360 Grad-Blick in den Himmel und haben die Polarlichter tanzen sehen. Vom Flughafen mieteten wir ein Auto, denn das Tiny House liegt ca. 15 Minuten von Rovaniemi entfernt, was wir bewusst wählten, um keine Lichtverschmutzung und beste Sicht auf die Polarlichter zu haben. Das Bett ist extrem bequem und die Aussicht spektakulär. Es hat uns an überhaupt nichts gefehlt. Einfach dort sein und genießen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dieses Häusschen buchen. Aleksi ist ein so unfassbar freundlicher Vermieter. Es hat alles gepasst!

• Daniela (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was perfect for 2 people - very warm and cozy. It is set in a stunning setting and was walking distance to Kotatieva, which was a bonus. Great outdoor fire to grill sausages on - the owners stopped by the supermarket on the way from the airport to pick up supplies. Saw the Northern Lights on both nights we were there right outside our door - even from inside the cabin. Amazing!!!
• Oliver (10/5): - Excellent location in the countryside. Views looking out over the snow covered trees. The down side is you need a taxi ride to get anywhere. But we anticipated this and it was no problem at all. A ride was always available when we needed it.

• Federica (10/5): The most amazing time ever! - We had the most amazing time ever in this magical cabin. From the first moment, we completely fell in love with this place—and with each other even more 😬😎. All the previous reviews are absolutely true: this is a real, special place, no scams, no fake promises. The cabin is about 10 km from Rovaniemi, and it’s totally worth it if you’re looking for a true nature experience instead of staying in the city atmosphere. On our first night, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, and waking up the next morning felt like a dream: frozen trees, pastel-colored sunrise, and pure silence in the snow. It was unforgettable. The owners, Aleksi and Kati, are incredibly friendly, kind, and always available, which makes the stay very comfortable and relaxing. A big shout-out also to Henri, who was always there for us as a taxi driver. Yes, the stay is quite expensive, but it is absolutely worth the money if you want a real, authentic, and magical Lapland experience. We truly fell in love with this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for something special. Thank you for everything! Nothing to say

• Bianca (7/5): - I loved the view, we could see the northern lights! The snow and the forest near the place made it special! The location was nice, but we ran into a few functional issues. The air conditioning was too loud to leave on at night, which made sleeping difficult. We also found the water quite limited, and the firewood provided was too damp to start a proper fire!
• Palarp (10/5): We want to have log cabin experience, so we booked this place and it is very lovely. The host was very supportive and he - Nice cabin and discreet location. Quite hard to find.
• Aurelie (8/5): Magico - La tranquilidad, la cabaña, no hay mucha agua, lo necesario. hay que rellenar pero Aleksi lo hace sin problema si le preguntamos. El wifi está bien. Tenemos madera para el fuego que calienta mucho la cabaña, nada de frío. Está a 10/15 minutos del centro de rovaniemi, un coche es necesario pero Aleksi puede venir a buscar a la gente que lo necesita. Es totalmente el ambiente que quería para mí estancia. Y una vista en el cielo impresionante aún más cuando aparecen los aurores boreales. Si te gusta la tranquilidad, la naturaleza es el lugar perfecto para ti. Volvere. La luz que entraba en la cabaña, suerte que es en invierno y no hay mucho sol pero si los días son más largos puede molestar. Hay que tener la técnica para los baños, pero mejor así.
• Tania (7/5): Nice time ! - Very nice cabin, 15min drive from city center. No one around and you feel like you are in nature. Pick-up from airport included. And everything to cook is available (salt, oil…) Toilets are incinerator, so you need to use a bag that is flushed and burned, and there is a limited amount of water for shower. It’s only pick-up from the airport, not round trip as described.

From the moment we arrived, we felt we weren’t just stepping into a beautiful accommodation, but into a small haven where genuine hospitality is part of the experience. We want to give special thanks to Kati, whose welcome was absolutely impeccable. She greeted us with such kindness that the cold outside instantly felt like just part of the scenery. Her warmth and attention set the perfect tone for our holiday. We also want to highlight Henri, who wasn’t just our driver, but practically our logistics guardian angel rides to the city centre, punctual pick-ups, and the airport transfer where, thanks to him, our only real concern was making sure we didn’t forget our gloves. His professionalism and friendly attitude made everything noticeably easier. A heartfelt thank-you as well to Aleksi, always ready to help. His support with the small details the ones that truly shape a great experience, was essential to making everything run smoothly. It has been an extraordinary vacation, the kind that leaves you smiling even days after returning home. We felt cared for, supported, and genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back. And hopefully next time, we’ll be able to enjoy it with the whole family, because a place like this deserves to be experienced together.

• Tracy (8/5): A different experience - A cosy, modern cabin style accommodation just out of Rovaniemi. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. The small kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Bed was comfortable. Heating, air conditioning and wifi worked well. The views of the northern lights are spectacular. It is really small, very little space for 2 people and luggage. Ok for a night or 2 but after 3 nights we were ready to have more space. Toilet is not fun, you have to put a type of bag in the toilet before going so it flushes properly due to the type of system it is. The water tank gets topped up daily but is really only enough for 2 quick showers.

• Juan (10/5): Comfortable cabin in the woods with helpful hosts that treats you like family - I think booking needs to add 11 to its rating because how great my stay was. The cabin has nice windows, so you can have a nice view, there are different heating options, the air conditioning, electric heaters (in the main room annd toilet) and the fire place. Additional to that the bed was very comfortable, the smart TV allows you to see things such as Netflix, etc, you can cook inside in the electric kitchen. The nice thing was that additional to all of that, outside the cabin there is a fire camp, you can cut your wood logs, make a fire and also cook there, so I preferred to cook outside as it was nicer. Inside the cabin you can also hear the wind blowing, which is also relaxing. I don’t remember the last time I have been welcomed and treated so well, they took care of me like I was another member of their family. Just to give an example, the host Aleksi, after picking me up from the airport took me to the supermarket, then it was late and I couldn’t buy any alcohol, but when we arrived to the cabin he brought some beers, then he helped me the other days to make a fire (I learned his tips and then I could do it alone), also one day I used the private sauna from his house, also other day gave me a free ride to the Santa Claus village as well as some other additional drinks or like when he brought an axe so I can chop wood logs. All of this small details, friendliness, kindness, made me feel super comfortable. So you get way more than a room and things you might not get anywhere else in Rovaniemi. Nothing

Provided us with some great tips on what to do in and around Rovaniemi. The location was so serene and absolutely beautiful. The cabin was perfect and cozy for those winter nights. Our highlight was definitely seeing the Northern Lights on our first time. Would definitely recommend and I would definitely be back. Next time, we will be sure to rent a vehicle 😉 A microwave would’ve been a great addition for certain meals but we survived without it and this didn’t stop us from having a fabulous time

• Richmond (10/5): Our stay was very accommodating to all our needs with a beautiful and relaxing view of Finland - Beautiful location with a stunning view especially while watching the sunset and northern lights. The host was incredible as well. He was very friendly, welcoming, super helpful and he was always readily available for any questions we had. The property was the perfect size for 2 people! It was cute and cozy and had the necessary appliances to cook and store food. However, it does not have an oven or microwave. This was not an issue for us but make sure to buy food items that you can cook using a hot plate or a kettle. The bed was super comfy and we stayed warm the entire duration of our stay as there was heating and a fireplace inside for us to enjoy. There was also a little fire pit for us to use outside for a warm campfire. Everything was great!
• Leah (10/5): Unbelievable Experience! Fantastic Stay. - The property is honestly beautiful, outside of town but not to far. We loved the fire inside the lodge and the the fire pit just outside. The beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the fact we were secluded away from other people, it felt like we were alone in the wilderness which was exactly what we wanted. The hospitality from Alexsi and his family was exceptional, we had everything we needed and more. Our hosts was extremely helpful in advising us on all local attractions and best places to eat local cuisine. On our last night Alexsi told us that conditions were perfect for the Northern Lights to appear. We camped outside with the fire and were lucky enough to witness the spellbinding lights from right outside our lodge. Perfect for a couple or family, will definitely be returning on our next trip to Rovenemi. There is nothing we did not like.
