• Lisa L (10/5): Super Gastfreundlich - Was für eine stilvolle Unterkunft in der man sich wohlfühlen kann. Die Gastgeberin ist super nett, sowas zuvorkommendes habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Zur Begrüßung gab es die besten Orangen von eigenen Feld die wir je gegessen haben. Es ist an alles gedacht und das was uns fehlte (große Tassen und eine Schüssel) wurde umgehend gebracht. Auch das Problem mit einem fehlenden Stöpsel konnte behoben werden. In der Nähe ist eine Bushaltestelle, sodass man mit dem Bus in einer halben Stunde in die Innenstadt fahren kann. Auch der Strand ist in der Nähe, man muss lediglich eine steile Abfahrt hinunter laufen. Hat nicht direkt was mit der Unterkunft zu tun, je nach Wind und Verkehrsaufkommen kann man hinten leider die Autobahn hören bei offenem Fenster, nicht laut, aber man hört sie. Ich bin kein Fan von Duschvorhängen, ein fester Schutz wäre schöner und mehr Ablageflächen/ Stauraum generell, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.
• Serafima (10/5): Супер - Один из самых лучших отпусков, что у нас были, во много благодаря выбору апартаментов. Отдельная благодарность Стелле за встречу, сопровождение и гостеприимство. Очень чисто и все необходимое для 1-2 недель проживания есть. Невозможно не отметить самые вкусные апельсины, которые мы когда-либо ели! Их было очень много, но грех было не сделать из них сок и забрать в последний день😆😎 Обязательная рекомендация брать в аренду машину, иначе будет невозможно увидеть всю красоту острова. Рядом с апартаментами находится магазинчик с морепродуктами, где при желании тебе все приготовят. Спасибо за приятное время.

The owner was nice and really helpful and accommodating, she recommended lots of local spots and left a big box oranges from her local farm for us to enjoy. And helped us to sort out our transfer to the airport. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, close walk to the beach.

Shops and bus stops are close to the house. Styliani, the hostess was very helpful and kind. She gave us a plan of what, where, and when to go. This made exploring the area easier. • Ana (10/5): Super angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr empfehlenswert! - Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat alles was benötigt wird. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet und die Terrasse ein schönes Plätzchen um seinen Kaffee am Morgen zu genießen. Der Weg zum Strand dauert 5-10 Minuten und im Umkreis finden sich viele empfehlenswerte Restaurants.

Die Lage war sehr angenehm und ruhig, trotzdem nicht weit entfernt von Restaurants etc.! Ein sehr sauberer Strand liegt sehr nah, 5 min zu Fuß. Stelle, die Gastgeberin, war unheimlich herzlich und hilfsbereit, was uns den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Preis-Leistung richtig top! Gerne immer wieder!

• ANNITA (10/5): - Al Summer Blue Apartments Chania abbiamo avuto un soggiorno lieto e tranquillo. La host si è dimostrata gentile e attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti. L’appartamento, che dispone di tutto il necessario per qualsiasi evenienza (ad es. cucina attrezzata, lavatrice, stendino, ecc.), è molto pulito e curato, nonché collocato in una zona vicino al centro della città, ma in una strada secondaria e quindi molto silenzioso. Di fronte all’appartamento ci sono anche diversi posti auto a disposizione. Consiglio questo appartamento e per un ottimo soggiorno a Chania.

• Christophe (10/5): Everything is good. - Excellent: Spacious, clean apartment, calm area, good AC, parking available, kind host. If you do not have a car, the city center of Chania or the rest of Crete might feel far away since public transport is not optimal in the island.

Good location for nearby beaches: 4 beaches in between 5-20 minutes by foot. Some good tavernas in the area. Bus stop to Chania/Kissamos 3 minutes away if needed. Stella is a great host. She helped with many detailed tips about restaurants, beaches, bus programs, car rentals and anything you can think of. I really appreciated her help.

• Lucianna (10/5): Super ausgestattete Unterkunft mit einer tollen Gastgeberin - Wir wurden herzlich von Stella empfangen. Sie gab uns gleich einige Tipps zur Umgebung. Hinterher schickte sie noch per WhatsApp zahlreiche Vorschläge für Strände, Unternehmungen und Tavernen. Auch wo wir in Chania kostenlos parken können. Stella war stets immer erreichbar und erkundigte sich auch, wie es uns gehen würde und ob wir was benötigen würden. Wir hatten Orangen aus ihrem Garten bekommen und zwischendurch lag ein Teller mit süßen Gebäck für uns dort. Stella ist eine perfekte und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Zur Unterkunft nun: Die Wohnung verfügt über alles, was man benötigt. Sie ist groß und geräumig. Eine Waschmaschine, die Küche ist auch sehr toll ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage kann man auf Leise einstellen, was perfekt für die Nacht ist. Und allgemein ist die Wohnung mit Liebe hergerichtet. Wir haben dort 9 Tage verbracht und uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung wird in der Zeit von den Gästen selbst sauber gehalten,sowie den Müll selbst zu entsorgen. Aber das war für uns kein Problem. Schließlich hält man sein eigenes Zuhause auch ordentlich 😉 . Die Tonne für den Müll war übrigens auch nicht weit entfernt. Nach Chania Altstadt braucht man ungefähr 17 Minuten mit dem Auto. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto hat man einen Lidl und noch einen großen Supermarkt. Der Strand vor Ort war jetzt nichts für uns. Dafür gibt es genug andere schöne Strände. Man sollte definitiv ein Auto haben. Da die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen liegt. Man ist abseits vom Trubel. Doch auch eine Busstation ist in der Nähe. Wir danken herzlich für die Unterkunft und können diese 100% weiterempfehlen. Für uns etwas zu abgelegen. Aber das hat ja nichts mit der Unterkunft an sich zu tun. Sonst alles perfekt.
• Marcin (10/5): - We stayed as a family with a two-year-old child for a week at Summer Blue Apartments Chania and it was a wonderful experience. The owner is a truly kind and warm person — she shared great tips on what to visit in the area, taking into account that we were traveling with a small child. The apartment was exceptionally clean and perfectly equipped. We found everything we needed: a washing machine, iron, all types of kitchen utensils and pots, a coffee maker, and even a citrus juicer. The location is fantastic — the beach “Παραλία Γλάρος” is just a 5–7 minute walk away. It is ideal for families with small children: very safe, with shallow water for a long distance. Shops like Lidl and Synka are available nearby, so shopping for groceries was very convenient. We highly recommend this apartment for families with young children — everything exceeded our expectations!

Inoltre, ci sono anche state lasciate arance, biscotti e vino come benvenuto. Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile in macchina e davanti a casa è sempre possibile trovare parcheggio. Tutto perfetto.

• Olga (10/5): Perfect stay for family with baby - Everything was perfect! Stella is an amazing host, she is very kind and caring person. She welcomed us with oranges from her garden and with traditional Greek products. The apartment was fully-equiped, very spacious, clean and cosy. There was a crib for the baby as we requested and Stella also provided us with a high chair and toys for our daughter which was very nice. The apartment is located in a quiet place, there are several beaches nearby. Stella recommended one of them to us as the most suitable for a family with a small child, the beach was clean, the sea was calm and shallow. There is a bus stop not far from the apartment, from where you can get to Chania. Also within walking distance there are many taverns and several minimarkets, a pharmacy and a store with fresh seafood. -
• GRIGORIA-EIRINI (10/5): Περάσαμε υπέροχα στο κατάλυμα! - Το κατάλυμα ειναι πολύ όμορφο και καθαρό. Εχει μοντερνα διακοσμιση και ειναι αρκετα ευρυχωρο. Μας εντυπωσίασε το ότι είχε πάρα πολλές παροχές. Βρήκαμε οτιδήποτε θα μπορούσαμε να χρειαστούμε (π.χ. πετσέτες θαλάσσης, κουτι φαρμακειου, ταπερ, μαγειρικά σκεύη κλπ). Το μέρος είναι πολύ ήσυχο και όμορφο. Υπάρχει επίσης και άνετο πάρκινγκ. Η οικοδεσποτρια ειναι εξαιρετικά βοηθητική και φιλόξενη. Θα το ξαναεπιλεγαμε χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

• Dragos (10/5): Excellent stay, 7 days passed too quick - Review for beginning of July 2025, a weeklong family accommodation. In short, we felt like home, superb. More details: Accommodation is a bit of a retreat from the busy/agitated touristic life of the city (which is a good thing), no noises during the night or traffic. You could walk from accommodation toward the sea by foot, but all of my neighbors had rental cars and explored farther reached destinations. Accommodation is part of a 3 story apartment building, some locals live inside, not just tourists; there is a large parking, some parking spots are shaded (depending on the time of day) The apartment was spacious, fully supplied kitchenette & utensils and hardware (Nespresso compatible coffee maker aluminum pods, like 2EUR diameter ones, sandwich maker, juicer for oranges/lemons, fridge) - the only missing thing could be a microware. The good part: both rooms (living room/kitchenette and bedroom) had each one air conditioning unit installed, the cold air is not hitting you directly when sitting in bed. AC units were quiet enough. Bathroom was furnished with a washing machine and on the terrace outside we had our own foldable drying rack. The windows had sliding insect nets and on top roller blinds, making it fully dark bedroom. The host is an excellent and nice person: after discussing our interest, she supplied via Whatsapp a lot of locations/Points of interest nearby and for the whole island. We pursued most of them and found to be great advices and good lunch/dinner recommendations. I would have loved to be able to pursue all links she had provided. Nearby there are cafe/breakfast places in walking distance; there is a Monterno bakery with a large variety of morning pastry or sandwiches (also to go), a large Supermarket (Synka) and even a continental supermarket Lidl - all in under 5 minutes by car. There were some tourists that came in late in the night, either full or adrenaline or intoxicated that made loud noises while parking and entering their apartments. This in not hosts' fault but the tourists (lack of) education.

• Lajos (10/5): A lovely, peaceful stay, great hospitality from Stella and Valia - highly recommended! - We were very satisfied with our stay – the accommodation was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the organic oranges and the thoughtful little gifts that awaited us on arrival. Everything we needed was nearby, but we would recommend renting a car to explore the area more easily. Our return flight was late in the evening, and our hosts were incredibly flexible and accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable until our departure. Stella and Valia were wonderful – thank you for everything! Nothing.

• Desislava (10/5): Hidden gem close to Chania :) - It was a cozy, clean, modern and well-equipped studio. We were with a rented car, so location was great for us - close to the main roads with parking right in front of the apartment. And, of course, our host Stella was amazing - super friendly, responsive and had great recommendations for beaches and restaurants in the area!

• George (10/5): Perfect Greek Getaway - My host Στέλλα provided perfect service. She gave me recommendations to eat at and for sightseeing. Once I arrived I was immediately welcomed and given a tour of my apartment. If you need anything from Στέλλα do not hesitate to ask her, she will help you with anything you might need. In fact, you may get lucky and be treated to some of her delicious baking. The location is great, there's some shops and beaches to explore on foot. If you want to go to the city centre of Χανιά then the bus stop is 5 minutes away and will take you there. I highly recommend staying at SummerBlue apartments!

The location is excellent, close to the beach and easily accessible even without a car, thanks to buses to the city center. The area is quiet, perfect for relaxation. The apartments are clean, spacious, and fully equipped – they provided all the comfort we needed. The hosts are very kind and made us feel at home, offering great recommendations and support whenever we needed it. We highly recommend Summer Blue Apartments to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in Crete!

• Violeta (10/5): Exceptional! - Our staying was truly amazing! The apartment is spatious, modern and clean, equipped with all facilities you might need. Hot water at any hour of the day, extra towels and linen and everything perfectly clean. Very comfortable and spatious bed. Big terrace surrounding the apartment, with sight to both sea and mountain, equipped with mosquito net, so we could sleep with the terrace opened and enjoyed the fresh air. We didn't use the air conditioners (there are 2, one in each room), as the temperature inside the apartment is perfect. The area is amazing, very close to several beautiful beaches (Yannis beach was our favorite), supermarkets, souvenir shops, nice restaurants, taverns and coffee shop (I highly recommend Lily's coffee shop, best coffee we had in Crete). We truly felt like home thanks to Stella, the owner of the apartment, who was such considerative, offered us info and very much appreciated suggestions for places to go. She accomodated our late arrival (our flight arrived after midnight) and welcomed us with rakia, cookies, cold water and beers. She left us plenty of fresh oranges for juice and eggs from her yard and the following days she checked we have everything needed via whatssap, offering us intimacy. I am so happy we chose her as our host, everyhting was perfect! We have decided not to rent a car, since the bus station leading to main tourist destinations is 3 minutes down the road and had easy acces to both east and west side of Creete. We also used taxi for places like Aptera Ancient site which is up a hill, fair prices and great service! We warmly recommend this staying and for sure will chose it again for our next vacation in Crete. Until next time, Stella! Everything was perfect.

• Nino (10/5): Perfect Stay with an Amazing Host at Summer Blue Apartments - Our stay at Summer Blue Apartments was perfect. Stella is an amazing host; she welcomed us warmly upon our arrival with a generous spread of fruit and other traditional Greek products. She also recommended excellent places to visit and great restaurants. The apartment is in a great location in a quiet part of town, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were perfectly equipped. What surprised us the most was that even though it was very hot, we didn't need to use the air conditioning (although it's available in every room). Thank you, Stella, for a truly wonderful experience!
• Megan (10/5): We fell in love with Chania - Stella, the owner of the apartment is a very friendly and warm hearted woman. I felt like I had known her for years. She brought us fresh eggs, figs, olives, oranges and cooked food. The apartment is on the first floor in a very quiet area. It has a balcony which goes round the whole apartment and is accessible via the bedroom and the living room. You can see the sea in the distance and you can easily walk to some lovely beaches nearby. Our favourite was Sunset Beach. We loved Lilly’s for breakfast and Ammos for dinner. The apartment is modern and very clean. There is a washing machine and a large washing line on the balcony. Stella was available for us via WhatsApp and even asked if we had arrived back home safely.

Stella was so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Oranges from her garden provided for fresh juice everyday. Birthday treat for my son on arrival to make him feel special. Stella kept in touch during our stay checking we were ok. Would definitely recommend her apartment. Loved it. Chania old town is charming. Lots to discover in the maze of streets. Bonus was seeing the harbour turtle on our last day😍

• Helen (10/5): Lovely relaxing time in a beautiful apartment, with amazing views & host - Amazing apartment with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings in a relaxing residential area. 10 minutes walk to beach, 5 minutes to bus stop & 20 minutes walk to synka & Lidl supermarkets. Apartment has absolutely everything you need, kitchen fully equipped, (plastic storage boxes & ice packs!) bedroom has plenty of storage & a really comfortable bed . Good bathroom with a washing machine & a comfortable living area. • Keithsingo (10/5): Fantastic stay! Highly reccomend - The apartment is beautifully furnished with all the amenities you need for your stay. Its bright, open and spacious. 5min walk to the bus stop into town and to the beach, Stella our host was very welcoming and informative, she gave every bit of information we needed and was always by the phone if we needed anything else. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing it was all great!

Stella is so nice and willing to help her guests. She welcomed us with fruits, wine and other goodies. She gave us a lot of usefull information regarding tourist attractions, transportation, places to eat, beach bars etc. We felt so confortable to ask her questions as she is so kind. In the apartment we found everything we needed for a longer stay: many clean towels, first aid kit, beach towels, everything you need for loundry, iron etc.

The owner Stella surprised us with welcome gifts upon our arrival and she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Ideally located, the apartment was really easy to find, it is 5 min from the beach by foot and 10 min from Chania by car. Apartment has everything that you might need, it is really clean, everything is new and lovely decorated, bed is really comfortable.
