• Stefan (8/5): - Unkompliziert und sehr sauber. Ausstattung ist ebenfalls gut. Sehr schöne Aussicht und hell. Sehr geräumiger direkt angrenzender Parkplatz. Das Bad ist voll okay so wie es ist, allerdings ist der Kompressor für die Dusche doch eher ein Rinnsal, als eine ordentliche Dusche. Es ist verwendbar, aber für diesen Preis hätte ich mir eine vollwertige Dusche erwartet.

• Jane (10/5): This accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again with no hesitation. - The host Peter meet us and gave us a run down of the accommodation. It has a lovely outlook into the garden and beyond. It is very roomy and has everything you need. You could not fault the cleanliness of this cabin. We could not fault the amenities - also milk in the fridge and biscuits on arrival. Storm Amy hit on our 2nd day leading to power outage for days. Peter weathered the storm to bring us over a light and also hot water in the morning. He went out of his way to find us further accommodation in the area when we thought we would stay longer on Skye. Unfortunately after finding us this we decided to head for mainland when we found out power was out for next 2 days. Would highly recommend to other travellers. NA

• Gillian (10/5): Great place to stay - Warm welcome from Peter on arrival. Chalet beautifully clean with everything that you need. It was so peaceful. Great location and easy to travel from there all over the Isle of Skye. Lovely gesture of leaving milk and biscuits for us. If we ever return to Skye we would definitely stay here again. Nothing we disliked at all. We did struggle to get the TV channels sometimes but that was us not being used to the 2 remotes and Freesat . Maybe in the helpful handbook some basic instructions would be helpful to "technophobes" like us!

• Tammi (9/5): Nice stay! - It’s obviously rather small but has a great layout with all necessities. Really quiet and we slept really well. The location is of course not as central on the island as others meaning getting anywhere requires a rather lengthy trip by car. Totally doable though!
• Janice (9/5): Friendly host in a quiet location in Skye - We received a very friendly greeting, it is in a quiet location with sneak views over the garden to the harbour, the kitchen was good to cook in, and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive. It was also exceptionally clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the midgies were terrible at that time of year. None of the windows could be opened as they had no fly/bug screens on them to keep the midgies out, and the accommodation became stifling hot even on a cool day without any fresh air. Lacked some privacy due to orientation.

Easy check in and out and Peter could help with transfer which was very kind! Easily accessible as it was located straight after the bridge to Isle of Skye. Had dinner at the one of the local pubs, within walking distance, super cute and nice experience! PERFECT place to stay in Isle of Skye!! Highly recommend!! /Matilda
• Jonathan (10/5): Lovely little cabin on the Isle of Skye. - The chalet is modern, clean and well maintained, overlooking an equally nice garden. Check-In and Check-Out is uncomplicated and there is plenty of parking space for any (rental) car. The location is in a quiet part of Kyleakin, far away from any road noise or other disturbance. Amenities such as plenty of clean towels, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided. Other items can be found in the Co-op in Kyle, just a 5 minute drive away. The chalet is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, furnished living room and a nice comofortable bed. A sofa and TV, as well as WiFi are also available for entertainment during a particularly rainy day. Monika and Peter have created a lovely little place on the Isle of Skye, which I soon hope to visit again the next time I'm staying on Skye.

• Anna (10/5): beutiful tiny house with gorgeous view - Beautiful tiny house with everything you need. Gorgeous view to the beautiful garden. We spent here 3 quiet nights. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared. The owners are very kind and the communication was perfect.

• Terence (10/5): Very well looked after - Peter was there when we arrived, briefed us on how things worked, and was there if we needed further help. Very comfortable accommodation, which seemed to be warm all the time even without the heating being on. The wifi and TV worked well, and the microwave in the kitchen cooked our meals on arrival, since it was rather wet outside. There is a very convenient Co-op to buy food on the mainland side of the bridge. There is also a good Indian restaurant just round the corner on the main road. A very minor niggle: the shower did not fully drain, since the drain was not at the lowest point of the base.. Other than that, the biggest disappointment was having to leave.

• Robert (10/5): One of the only priorities that we have stayed in recently where we received personal attention from the owner, clearly - Everything was to hand, but the interior was impressive and well thought out and planned. The owner was very keen to ensure we enjoyed our time. We particularly liked the location of our stay being very close to the Skye bridge. There were no surprises at all, everything was great and would enjoy staying again.

Walking options 5 minutes from the chalet The chalet was quite cold when we arrived, took a bit of time to be heated.

The accommodation was really comfortable. Great powerful shower own outside space allocated parking . If you like coffee the coffee machine was a great added touch, tea Coffee was complementary. Great location and was perfect for our short stay at the Isle of Skye . As we had been travelling already for a week , I would have preferred a Washer dryer instead Of the dishwasher , very minor thing. Would happily recommend and would stay again.

The chalet is very modern, looks very new and was super clean. It is equipped with everything you need. You also have a lovely view of the garden, which we really liked. We can definitely recommend the chalet.

• Scott (10/5): An immaculate cottage that is very comfortable. - This home was built with care by the host. Everything is high quality and solid. The home is spotless and well-equipped. The bathroom is luxurious with large plush towels and a towel warmer. The kitchen is well stocked. The couch and bed were comfortable. There is a patio and the property is beautiful. There is a full grocery store just across the bridge and a laundromat as well. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. The best part of the property is the host, Patrick. He is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. The home is near the Skye Bridge and it is a 45 minute drive to get to Portree. We loved the property and felt like the extra driving due to the location was well worth it!
• Pascal (10/5): Perfect stay (: - This chalet is a very comfortable and modern apartment with high standard. Its the cleanest apartment where we stayed during our trip. Everything what you need is prepared and Peter & Monika are very lovely hosts who wants that their guests have a perfect stay. We are very impressed that Peter built this chalet by himself and for all the lovely details he takes into account. Its the perfect place to relax after a worthy day spending sightseeing on isle of skye. Nothing to say.

Slightly further from the middle of the Isle of Skye meant that we needed to drive out further for hikes at the recommended spots.

• Gabriel (10/5): Happy we chose this for our trip on Isle of Skye - Located right after the Skye Bridge, we were very impressed with this accommodation where we stayed for 4 nights. It was warm, quiet and speckless. We had everything we needed to make a quick breakfast and coffee/tea for our mornings and good restaurants nearby for the evenings. Hosts are very nice and gave us plenty of tips to make the most out of our trip on Isle of Skye. Very good value for money as well! I’m very glad we booked it.
