Guest Reviews
- Marita (9/5): Great stay in a beautiful location with a short walk down to the beach - Amazing home with everything we needed. Very spacious for a family of five. Peaceful with a great view across the valley and ocean glimpses Would have been nice to have a top sheet rather than just a doona. Price was expensive but was peak season
- Jennifer (8/5): Enjoyable stay , lovely location and easy to get to Flinders - The twin bed mattresses were not comfortable.
- Keit (10/5): A good choice! - Super cozy, stylish and comfortable cottage house. We enjoyed two nights there!
- Kay (9/5): A lovely quiet country feel but close to nearby beaches. - An older style home but lovely airy bedrooms, newly carpeted, and lovely light coming into all the upstairs rooms, giving great views of the surrounding hills, trees and huge property itself. Nothing comes to mind.
- Christopher (9/5): - The location was amazing, easy walk to the beach and into the town. Beds were super comfy and lovely views from the deck. Bathrooms could do with a little updating, and the kitchen with a few more standard cooking utensils (scissors/ masher eg)
- Tracey (8/5): A lovely winter get away with great walks in nature. Room for all the family. loved the general store. - the sunny lounge, family friendly, pet friendly, garden we didn’t use the fireplace (even though it was set and ready to be lit) as we could see that the doors don’t seal properly and we didn’t want to deal with a smokey room. The ducted heating was more than adequate for warmth . I was a little disappointed by feeling able to use the fire as it was one of the reasons I chose the property.
- Martin (9/5): Superb - Spacious, heater worked well, well appointed, as described, slept 8 comfortably Nothing - some hand towels would be a nice addition and perhaps a bigger pot to cook pasta, but this is trying hard to find improvements :-)
- Hazel (10/5): A relaxing spot in a very clean and comfortable house with a lovely outlook. - Lovely comfortable property with excellent facilities and ideal location Nothing
- Susie (9/5): Wonderfully relaxing Easter weekend. - The house had real personality and worked perfectly for our family. The kids (and puppy) enjoyed the large back garden and trampoline and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with restful views and sunshine.
We also made use of the quick and easy access to the beach via the steps accessed by the path right across the road from the house.
We also comfortably walked into town from the house, and kids biked. We also loved the easy code access which saved us worrying about who had keys or where to put them so we could all come and go. Nothing really
- Jade (10/5): Incredible stay all round, including house, amenities, location. Thank you so much. Owners were amazing. Thank you! We w - Location was amazing, we absolutely loved the secret path to the beach. Gorgeous, quiet little street. Incredible house layout with amazing views. Very spacious and super relaxing atmosphere. Kids loved playing soccer on the grass and using the trampoline. Loved everything
- Shubhojit (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (9/5): Great place for a family or two couples to share in summer or winter and enjoy beautiful Flinders. - Older style beach house which has been nicely updated. Kitchen & bathrooms are old but very clean & functional. Well furnished. Quality linen & towels. Very nice rural views & water glimpses. Efficient air con & heating (we needed both!). Wood fire would be lovely in winter. Dogs are allowed which was wonderful. However, the property is not fenced so we couldn’t let the dogs out or they’d wander off. The upstairs deck is secure though. Beach access nearby but lots of steps down & up.
- Jennifer (9/5): Nantucket Cottage was a luvverley place to stay offering easy access to Flinders township, golf course and Ten Minutes b - Nantucket Cottage was beautifully and stylishly appointed with a retro vibe. The top living level with its many windows gave lovely good for the soul views of the surrounding green areas and in the distance Western Port Bay. The kitchen was amply stocked with beautiful earthy crockery and stylish glassware. There were some very nice touches like artificially flamed candles, rugs and plants which added to the aesthetic. Bedding and seating were very comfortable which included outdoor cushions to be used on seating on the good-sized wraparound verandah. There was a huge fenced backyard (though not fully fenced from the road) which our dog enjoyed as evidenced by 360degree ‘mads’. The property had access to the beach (dog-off leash) albeit many steps. Probably the cost for a couple was a bit expensive coz the price couldn’t be shared.
- Joshua (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed the trampoline. - The property was clean, neat and private.
