The hosts were so welcoming & lovely, they made our stay so pleasant ! One small steep hill to climb by bike, but not terrible!

• Stefan (10/5): Schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht und sehr gute Ausstattung - Schönes kleines Ferienhaus für zwei mit viel Platz und schöner Aussicht in ruhiger, ländlicher Umgebung. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und alles ganz unkompliziert. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und sogar der Hund ist super freundlich. Wir hatten noch nie auf dieser Reise eine so gut ausgestattete Küche, auch eine Waschmaschine ist da. Das Auto kann man sicher direkt vor der Türe parken.

• Ralph (10/5): - A very well appointed apartment with quality furniture and fitting. Our host, Vicki, was very welcoming who had provided plenty of complimentary food treats. Nothing to dislike, this apartment ticked all our boxes.
• Ian (9/5): Peaceful abode with great views. - This shed has been transformed to a wonderful home stay with a greatly appointed full kitchen, seperate lounge, bed , bathrooms and supplies! We didn’t like……to leave.

• Rhiannon (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay. - Comfortable, spacious apartment with lovely views over countryside and the Firth of Thames. Excellent kitchen facilities and exceptionally well provided with store cupboard basics, stationery and food storage boxes. Really well placed for visiting the Shorebirds and Robert Findlay Reserve, as well as the local forest reserves. Sandy beaches an easy drive away and the Coromandel Peninsula was a great day out. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again!

It is around a 5 minute walk from the centre of Kaiaua and has very nice views across the water towards the coromandel. I have stayed there previously and plan to stay again. A big thank you to the hosts for going above and beyond for my stay.

The bathroom is large wirh a good shower, plus a washing machine if needed. The location is very quiet. Comfy bed. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

We should have visited a supermarket before arrival though the shop at the petrol station had enough to make a meal. No wine or beer though

The facilities were great as well as the cupboards and fridge well stocked. It is also close to the centre of Kaiaua with views across towards the coromandel.

• Alan (10/5): Perfect 3 night stay and hope to come back again next year. - Very modern, immaculate and spacious as well as being only 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Kaiaua. It had all the facilities for my 3 night stay and the pantry was well stocked. Being up a small hill, it provided a good view over towards the Coromandel and the Hunua ranges behind. Very friendly hosts.

• Myles (10/5): Very clean and tidy, I liked the washing machine and the nice sheep dog. Great views and good pub. - They were there to see me in, hand me the key which was nice of them. They made extra effort to make sure I had good wi-fi service, which worked well for my work video conf. :-) Local fish and chips has last orders at 6:45pm (in May). Pub was better choice for food.

• Rebecca (10/5): Fabulous view! Quiet and peaceful location - Well equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven and microwave. The owner had generously stocked the kitchen with staples such as tea, coffee, sugar, tinned foods, snacks and pasta etc. You even have your own washing machine. The place was spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this lovely apartment! Nothing. It was perfect!
