I have medical problems so stairs was hard Again no fault of host plus my dog was unbelievable loud and very naughty which did not help but please my 1st Review had NOTHING AGAINST ROSE COURT APARTMENTS I PROMISE WE WILL GO AGAIN WITHOUT DOG. Loved the bluetooth mirror in the bathroom. You have eveything you need for self catering. Great price for dog, just £10 for the 2 nights. Quiet location. Would definitely return. This is just a matter of preference, but not having a tv in the bedroom, as I like to watch tv tucked up in bed. But easily rectified, we took the tv from the room to the bedroom on a evening.

The hosts were really friendly and worked hard to keep you the kind of stay you needed. There was a garden there to rest. I would like to have come there in summer. There were lots of good cafes and amenities around yet it was peaceful and quiet.. Lots of beaches and other places to explore. Nothing really.

Also played happy birthday in our room using Alexa on my birthday, Which was a lovely surprise. We also took our 3 year old sproker spaniel Bailey. He was a good little boy as he was made to feel very comfortable and welcome. We are going to be coming back with family members. Thank you again Sara, Jon and not forgetting Bond. It was very comfortable and well equipped, extremely dog friendly, with throws for the furniture and doggie towels provided, there was even a little bag of doggie treats. Sara had decorated the bedroom with rose petals and a heart balloon and left chocolates for uswhen she knew it was our anniversary and a birthday card and a bottle of beer for my husband. We also liked that we could use the ev charger at a very reasonable cost. Leaving.

• Lucy (8/5): Excellent and would 100% recommend these apartments to stay in whilst visiting South Devon. - Owners are lovely people, very welcoming and detailed about the facilitates and location. The mattress itself was very good condition and comfy. The apartment was extremely clean. The location was peaceful and being in the apartment room itself was a lot quieter than a hotel room. The apartment isn’t too far from local attractions and things to do, such as a short-drive to Torquay and Paignton. It’s also in an excellent place (5 min walk) for peaceful and relaxing walks along the cliff with sea views, looking down at Oddicombe beach. The apartment itself was great value for money, however if I was being picky I’d say that the family room itself was a little cramped and the sofa bed in the lounge was a little uncomfy as a sofa. If you don’t need 4 beds (family room incl the double bed) and not requiring the extra sofa bed, I’d recommend one of the other apartments instead of the family room apartment.

Didn’t use the kitchen much but perfect if you want to cook. Cooker and microwave and everything you can think of in utensils. Bathroom had a really good shower too. My room looked over a little garden. Lovely garden at the front of property with tables and chairs. Lovely owners. Cannot recommend this place enough. And dog friendly All perfect

• Natalie (10/5): Beautiful location. Excellent value for money. - We had a fantastic stay at Rose Court Apartments! The location is fabulous – just a short walk to several lovely cafes, pubs, and restaurants, and close to both Oddicombe and Babbacombe beaches. The views are absolutely stunning. The property itself was unique and perfect for us – an apartment with all the amenities of home, which made our stay so comfortable. Sara, the host, was incredible. She took the time to show us how everything worked, recommended local attractions, and even shared her phone number so we could contact her with any questions. The apartment was spotless, and for what you get in such a great location, it was incredibly good value. It’s only a 5-minute drive into Torquay, but honestly, we found that the pubs and restaurants on nearby Babbacombe Downs were more than enough for our evenings – and we could happily stroll back afterwards. A truly fantastic getaway – thank you for having us! Nothing that we didn't like. Worth noting for future guests - Travel Tip: Only 5 minutes’ drive from Torquay (or 7 minutes by bus from the top of the road). You’ll find beautiful Oddicombe Beach only a short walk away. There’s a lovely café right on the beach, perfect for a relaxing break. Be aware that access involves a very steep slope—unless you’re super fit, it’s best to take the cliff railway (operating 10 am – 5 pm) to go up and down.

Sara is a lovely friendly host and gave us advice on places to visit etc. It is only a short walk to the beautiful Babbacombe Downs and Oddicombe Beach. Bus stops are at the top of the road for trips to Torquay, etc. This was our 2nd trip to Rose Court, and I would definitely recommend it. N/A

Beds very comfortable (twin) Communication very prompt. Apartment is quite cosy but has separate bedroom. Garden is fabulous for relaxing in the summer evenings. Apartment was very quiet in terms of noise from other guests.

• peter (10/5): Amongst the best we've stayed in over our half century of holidays in UK. - Excellent location a minute or two from the sea views and walks of stunning Babbacombe Downs. Very helpful resident hosts meant a much better service and standard than the sometimes drab unloved unstaffed holiday let accessed by the dreaded key box. Beautiful garden and free parking on site. No shortcomings as the resident owners are very good at running a big house divided into holiday flats.
