- TraveLur (10/5): Fabulous stay in a meticulously kept and furnished place. - The property was extremely nicely decorated and comfortable for the two of us and our dog. Our dog loved the outside garden area that features a fenced off part where he could freely roam and inspect the grass and old artifacts.
The bed in the master bedroom was extra large and very comfortable, so we slept very well. We had no issue with temperature as you can leave the windows open, fully protected by mosquito screens.
Also the other parts of the house are very thoughtfully decorated and convenient - from the well equipped kitchen, the eating area as well as the super comfy sofa in the living area to the gigantic bath room.
Also no issues with parking - just park for free on the road right in front of the main door. The only thing we did not like were the dozens of mosquitoes that descended on me just seconds after sitting down in the garden. I planned to read a little while the dog was enjoying his garden time, but had to get back inside after not even 10 minutes because I already had 4 mosquito bites. Fortunately, they healed very quickly.
- Allahn (10/5): All in all a very comfortable stay that we would highly recommend to friends and family. - The cottage was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed. Nice and close to town and where we needed to be.
- Katherine (10/5): Old Bakery Cottage - The house was exceptional. Beautiful fittings and all the comforts of home. Everything needed was provided. A lovely enclosed garden.
A fantastic find in the tiny town of Millthorpe. Nothing!
- Felicity (9/5): Fabulous pet friendly cottage - Gorgeous character cottage in a great location in the village. Our dog was very welcome

- Julia (10/5): Fab cottage in a very cute village - Beautiful cottage in the middle of Millthorpe. Easy walk to everything. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. We loved that the fireplace was ready to light to enjoy our complimentary bottle of wine & cheese board in front of. Nothing
- Sam (10/5): A great country escape and short stroll to local shops, cafes and pub. - We loved all of the property, the gardens, fire place, great bath tub, kitchen and huge comfy beds! The whistle place was so clean and warm. The only thing that would make it better would be higher pressure in the shower.
- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful vintage styled house, cosy and close everything in town. - Beautiful vintage styled property .
The house was really cosy and warm with air conditioning/ electric blankets and an open fire. The host had generously left us some wine ( Thank you! )
The house is very close to the main part of town so we could walk to the local restaurant Tonic for an amazing 5 course degustation dinner. If I’m super picky there wasn’t any ground coffee that I could find for the coffee machine for breakfast . No matter, there is a great barista at the Providore just a short walk away.
- Nicola (7/5): Average but a divine town - Already shared disappointment with host. Our second visit and it was the little thoughtful touches like snacks on arrival and bathroom small products that made the first visit extra special, it felt very personal. None of that greeted us this time - warm Bubbles after a long drive and & a full dishwasher with a broken glass in it to unpack was our greeting. Most likely won't be back
- Kerrie (10/5): Beautiful cottage, in a gorgeous town. - A beautiful stay in this lovely cottage. Millthorpe is a gorgeous, quaint little town. The cottage is in an excellent location, very easy walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. Charming cottage garden out the back. The log burning fire was a nice cosy touch for the chilly autumn nights. Would love to stay here again! Nothing
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Lovely house, great kitchn One bathroom only for the two rooms.
A bbq would be great.
- Adel (10/5): We had an amazing stay at this cottage. Thank you Kate highly recommend it. - Everything was amazing, so so clean, beautiful smell, gorgeous spacious cottage highly recommend. Nothing, everything was amazing.
- Janet (10/5): A charming cottage which was perfect for our stay - A lovely touch to find the fridge stocked with everything we needed
- Anonymous (10/5): very relaxing, surrounds were beautiful - great location and feel about the place
- Daly (9/5): Superb - Gorgeous historic house with everything you needed plus extras. Very clean and spacious. Loved it
- Anonymous (10/5): A great weekend retreat - This is a charming comfortable treasure in central Millthorpe. We were greeted by a warm log fire, a tasting platter and a house with every convenience. The large bed was comfy and warm and every feature in this house was quality. Highly recommend The only issue was a couple of internal stairs that would make this accommodation inaccessible to mobility impaired patrons
