We kregen niet de kamer die we hadden geboekt - veel kleiner - en de douche werkte niet naar behoren - werd niet warm en er kwam een dunne straal water uit. De eigenaar werkte niet mee aan een oplossing en gedroeg zich onaangenaam tegen ons.

- Annick (10/5): A small piece of paradise. - The garden with the animals was dreamy. The white peacocks resting in the tree were magical. The food was delicious. Evert is a perfect host and surprised us with meals that clearly showed his love for cooking. The location is perfect for visiting the coast, Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp. We intend to come back soon and take our kids or friends to show this special place on earth. De tuin was so romantish ingericht. We vonden de rustende witte pauwen in de boom zo mooi om te zien. Het eten was heerlijk. Evert is de perfecte gastheer en laat met zijn leuke/Heerlijke gerechten zien dat hij enorm houdt van koken. De locatie is perfect om naar de kust te gaan. Ook prima gelegen om Gent, Brugge en Antwerpen te bezoeken. Je zit snel op de grote weg. We hopen snel nog eens terug te komen met onze dochters en/of met vrienden om dit kleine paradijsje te delen. De badkraan in de badkamer zit op een onhandige plek (in onze kamer in het landhuis). Dat is alles. Verder is overal aan gedacht.

Ce que nous avons le plus aimé c'est que tout est fait maison. C'est une question de choix mais le lit était juste un peu trop mou pour nous. Mais sinon le confort y est.

- simonetta (10/5): Un piccolo gioiello nelle Fiandre - Un hotel di campagna, con una vista appagante sulla natura che lo circonda. È gestito dai due proprietari con cura e attenzione ai minimi particolari. I letti sono comodissimi e la posizione garantisce un sonno tranquillo. Le zone comuni sono angoli assai confortevoli e di ottimo stile, la mattina ci si può rilassare su ampli divani guardando il fuoco scoppiettante del camino. La colazione è eccezionale e viene servita in un'area assai luminosa affacciata sulla piscina bena curata. Lasciamo la sorpresa di scoprire altri dettagli che rendono la permanenza da consigliare senza timore di essere smentiti. Niente da segnalare.

They catered for our very specific dietary needs (Gluten allergy, lactose intolerance, vegetarian) not by just buying a plastic wrapped gluten-free sandwich, no, they arranged biological fresh gluten free bread, lactose free butter and 3 types of lactose free cheeses. Further, freshly squeezed juice, eggs from their own chickens and much more. One of the best breakfasts we have had! Dinner was also fantastic and again perfectly adjusted to our needs. - Hilde (10/5): Onnavolgbaar super - Hoe de heren het doen, ik weet het niet, maar ze runnen hun zaak op voortreffelijke wijze. Met hun klanten gaan ze om alsof we vrienden zijn die na een afwezigheid met vreugde worden begroet. En in de watten gelegd! Op culinair vlak, zeker; qua gastvrijheid sowieso. Het boutique hotel is prachtig, binnenin huiselijk, gezellig, schoon. De tuin en de omgeving is ronduit super. Wij komen graag terug, al is het niet altijd makkelijk om een kamer te boeken. We zijn duidelijk niet de enigen die Het Bloemenhof graag bezoeken.

(diner was niet van toepassing, maar als dit de lijn van ontbijt en lunch volgt, is het zonder twijfel ook super!). Zeer goedlachse, professionele gastheren! Kamer tip top, mocht ietsje groter, maar alles wat nodig was aanwezig. Hygiëne uitstekend. Mooie ligging en zeer verzorgde tuin met zwembad en Spa-faciliteiten. Goede uitvalsbasis naar 't zeetje, met fietsen ter beschikking. Samengevat: absolute aanrader! niets eigenlijk

Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato lo stile elegante dell'hotel e la professionalità dei gestori, sempre disponibili a soddisfare le nostre esigenze. La colazione era ottima e la cena che abbiamo potuto gustare nell'hotel è stata deliziosa e superiore alle nostre aspettative. Complimenti a Bart & Evert! Nulla, speriamo di poter tornare durante un altro viaggio nelle Fiandre

- Sanchez Jr (10/5): In alle rust genieten! - Zeer fijne B&B. We verbleven 3 nachten en hadden het hier volledig naar onze zin. Vriendelijke ontvangst, fijne tips voor uitststappen, goede begeleiding voor fietstochten. Mooie kamer/badkamer met al het nodige. Sauna/jacuzzi beschikbaar (reserveren en toeslag), ruime parking en mogelijkheid om elektrische fietsen op te laden in aparte stalling. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt waarmee je de dag goed doorkomt. Mits voldoende gasten 's avonds wensen te blijven eten, maakt Evert een top 3-gangenmenu met aangepaste dranken. Wij hadden het geluk dat we 2 avonden van zijn kookkunsten mochten genieten. Echt een aanrader! Vanuit 'Het Bloemenhof' maak je mooie fietstochten. Eén dag fietsten we naar Brugge, een andere dag via Heist door de Zwinpolders naar Cadzand. Niets, we hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf!

Nous étions ensemble autour d'une belle table pour un déjeuner copieux, varié , frais et pour un souper juste exceptionnel (parfumé, de belle portion , belle présentation). Nous avons d'excellents conseils pour une balade à vélo (réserver à l'hotel) ...... L'endroit est cosi pour prendre l'apéritif en terrasse au bord de la piscine ou dans les fauteuils du salon Tout était parfait, l'accueil, .... Toutes les informations étaient claires et judicieuses

Piscine très agréable, avec la température de l'eau idéale pour nager. Endroit calme. Chambre très exigüe, avec d'un côté le plafond incliné et la fenêtre grande ouverte au-dessus du lit, où nous devons être attentifs pour ne pas nous cogner. Dans les alentours, aucun chemin de promenade agréable.
- Chris (10/5): - Evert and Bart are the most perfect hosts! From the moment we arrived to the time we left they looked after us with great care and insight. The hotel is beautifully designed, both inside and out. The lounge area is a lovely space in which to relax. The breakfasts here are tremendous, with fresh juice and fruit, homemade yoghurt, a delightful basket from the bakery, a selection of meats and cheeses and eggs, bacon and even pancakes. The homemade preserves are wonderful and worth trying every day. If you have the opportunity it is definitely worth dining here in the evening. Evert and Bart cook the most wonderful and delicious food served with style and passion. We had the selection of wines to match each course and they were very well chosen. Thank you Evert and Bart for looking after us so well. Hopefully we can visit again.
- Therese (10/5): Great place to stay for relaxation - The hotel is situated in a rural area. It’s silent and you can truly relax there. Our kids loved the pool and the farm animals. And the breakfast is delicious. We would definitely stay here next time we visit Brugge.

Meio complicado para chegar se uma das vias estiver fechada (tivemos o azar de haver uma competição de bike e a estrada estar fechada). Fica numa área afastada, então não tem nada perto. Só a paz e sossego mesmo. O café da manhã é excepcional!!! Tenho restrições alimentares e conseguiram me atender com excelência mesmo em opção sem glúten e sem lácteos.

La chambre est propre, elle sent bon, le frigo est bien approvisionné, le petit déjeuner est incroyable, les gérants sont adorables. Sans parler du cadre juste magnifique! C’est la deuxième fois qu’on réserve et pas la dernière fois!

- Eveline (10/5): Een heerlijke vakantie met vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten en drinken. - Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Het personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De badkamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. Genoeg handdoeken voor het hele gezin. De bedden waren fris en fijn. Er zaten heel veel muggen op onze kamer. Dus de eerste nacht zijn we op jacht geweest. Ondanks dat er overal horren zijn geplaatst.

Bart en Evert doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken, van het ontbijt tot het verzorgen van een fietsroute, het maken van pizza’s en het verzorgen van drankjes. Super vriendelijke mensen die hart voor hun bedrijf hebben. Geweldig
