The rooms are so well appointed and although they are updated they fit in perfectly with the history of the property! The staff went beyond and above the call…. Stephania, Daniela, David ….. at the front and the darling server Andrea to name a few. The assistance with the parking was a huge help as well. Recommendations for restaurants and Jewelry shopping were superb. I can not thank them enough for making our stay perfect!!!! Highly recommend :)

Great facilities and a great vibe throughout the hotel. Their restaurant was excellent. Extremely minor but a couple of towel hooks next to the shower would have been super helpful!
• caitlin (9/5): A beautiful and luxurious stay in a stunning historic building - The interiors & decor were of a really high standard - all the finishes were sleek and beautiful. The entire building was stunning, and it’s been renovated really tastefully to keep the integrity of the building intact. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and made us feel like we were their main priority. The seating areas dotted around the property were lovely - we sat and read our books with a glass of wine and it was just perfect. It’s very hard to find something to dislike about this property - it was truly wonderful. My only minor comment is that the gym facilities didn’t open until 9am, meaning I couldn’t make use of them before our breakfast & checkout (which is what I intended to do). Not a deal breaker, but would have made the stay perfect if the gym was open a little earlier

• Lisa (10/5): Most enjoyable stay we have had in a truly unique exceptional property - Location, gorgeous rooms and courtyards. Breakfast was amazing the best I have ever had as part of a bed/breakfast package. The staff were exceptional, David organised bookings at wonderful restaurants and gave excellent advice on what to see and do in the area. Other staff who were fantastic were Daniel and Ana, unfortunately I don’t know the names of the other restaurant and bar staff but they truly were professional, friendly and took great pride in their work. Would rate this hotel 6 stars if I could. Nothing to even think about here

• PLG CONSULTING (10/5): Un Must Stay à Lecce ! - Le Palazzo Zimara est somptueux, très grande hauteur sous plafond, tout est pensé au millimètre, la salle de sport est flambant neuve (matériel Technogym dernier cri), le restaurant est excellent et le petit déjeuner aussi (ça n’est pas un buffet, vous choisissez à la carte). Super bien situé en plein centre ville. Service de conciergerie très facilement accessible et réactif. Un must stay à Lecce !

It was lovely safe and offered a nice eatery.

We were helped by Davide who left reception to take me to the off site car park The breakfast was fine but we have noticed in Italy that they make great coffee, but that is often the highlight of the breakfast!

• Leslie (8/5): Very pleasant and I hope that they improve the food. Lecce is beautiful - The hotel itself is beautiful, a renovated Palazzo in the center of the old city. Our room was up quite a few stairs and was in a room with a vaulted ceiling. The room was divided into 3 parts, the sleeping area, a huge closet area and a very big and beautiful bathroom which actually looked out onto the street. The furnishings are very simple but plenty of space to put your things. The only seating space in the room was one stool. No place to sit and read or relax except for the bed aside from the stool. The bathroom had a huge and great shower and a big spa bathtub. Shower products were okay although the flimsy plastic bottles seemed cheap in the location and were never cleaned off so they were sticky. Also, no place to hang a towel by the sink which was a bit annoying. Because of the design of the room, there was no way to sleep with a window open because the only window (in the bathroom) was on the main street and it was noisy. The air conditioning worked fairly well but didn't cool the room down below 21,5 degrees. The staff was lovely and helpful. The one downfall of this hotel is the food. Unfortunately, it was the worst dinner we had during out 2 week stay in Puglia. The setting is beautiful, in the interior courtyard but the food was really not good. Appetizer had no taste and was a strange combination and pasta dish was tasteless. Ice cream for dessert was 2 microscopic balls of ice cream. In a country with such wonderful food and gelato, this was really a shame. Breakfast was ok, not fabulous and not as good as others we had in lesser priced hotels. Pancakes were obviously cooked in advanced and heated up (and dry), omelette was okay...The staff was always lovely, helpful and pleasant. As mentioned above, the food and would have been nice to have a chair in the room. Not sure that the sheets were changed after 2 days as mentioned in the room instructions, but they were changed after 4 nights when we were staying for 5 nights...
• Steve (10/5): I would go back. - The backyard patio/grouds were an oasis in all f the craziness of Lecce. The service was outstanding, food came quickly and was good. I have nothing negative to say. this is a very high end hotel that lives up to every bit of it.

• Paul (10/5): Superb, we’ll be back one day with others 🤗 - Superb boutique hotel in very central location for all of the main attractions that Lecce has to offer. Hotel staff are of the highest quality, extremely helpful, friendly, well trained and knowledgeable. Original Lecce stone construction dating back over £500. Refurbished to the highest standards utilising top quality furniture, furnishings and ancillary items such as quality coffee and specialty teas. Home cooked food was simply superb.

• Lesbia (8/5): Beautiful hotlel in Lecce historic center. - The restaurant and the service werevery good. The air conditioner in the master room never wen below 25 degrees celsius.
• Tina (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed one night at Palazzo Zimara during my trip to Apulia.The hotel,newly opened,is located in the heart of Lecce and from there I was able to visit the entire historic centre.Excellent breakfast and the entire staff's welcome! I will definitely be back in the near future! There wasn't a sinle thing I didn't like.Everything was amazing!
