Guest Reviews

- Shahnaj (10/5): A short stay, lovely apartment, very spacious and an excellent host. Would definitely recommend. - I liked the property it was comfortable and spacious.
The host was friendly, helpful and accommodating. N/a
- Richard_dsc (10/5): Fantastic flat a mile or so from the centre of town - Fantastic flat in a historic building. Huge living room, beautifully furnished, comfy beds; nice modern kitchen, everything clean and sparkling. My 4th (I think) stay there - speaks for itself. Nothing of significance
- Petros (9/5): Fabulous stay - Beautiful and massive property with all facilities. Could have supplied toiletries. After a long haul flights, when we hit the shower, there was no toiletries and milk. Other than that, it was a great experience on the whole
- Wendy (9/5): Lovely large apartment - Spacious, good location if you have a car, unique, clean, had washing machine
- Michael (10/5): Stay here it’s just great. - Everything. The bed was super comfy. The apartment was spacious and a lovely space. It was really quiet. My wife and i stay for four nights ( need a car) and just explored. We cooked every evening and there are lots of big supermarket around. And would relax with the fire on the big lounge room. Hire a car from town rather than the airport if you are using the train. But that didn’t matter. Nice cafe called Cup and Cone , it’s really hard to find a good made coffee in the UK. I’m in Edinburgh at the moment writing this staying in a 5 star expensive hotel. I would rather be back in Inverness accommodation. 🤙 Nothing to dislike at all. Loved it. But if you hire a car , our gps would not recognise the address, but our mobile phones did , so you can use the cross st as your address if using a hire car.
- Lisa (7/5): - The beds were very comfortable. There was quick hot water and good internet, although couldn't get good charges for any of our devices--unlike everywhere else we stayed. Walk in shower terrific. The apt is huge and the kitchen is well-appointed, although a coffee maker would be great. We didn't receive the email with the code as promised, but the actual problem was that Julie, who had been terrific all along, was unreachable for about 3 hours when we were trying to message, email, call, etc. Eventually reached housekeeping and they gave us the code. Worked out fine, but a stressful start.
There are no toiletries in the apt....I mean zero. It never occurred to me to bring shower gel or soap--I haven't stayed in a hotel, motel, airbnb, apt or anything else in 30 years that didn't AT LEAST provide some sort of bath soap or shower gel. Bring your own!
There is no light at the front door that comes on automatically when you come in at night in the dark.
As the owner says in her notebook--the communal property (not the inside of her apartment) needs work--I'm sure was once grand, but now needs work.
- Anne (10/5): We spent - Very spacious and clean apartment
Good communication with owner
Peaceful location but short walk to centre of Inverness
Comfortable bed
Lovely bathroom with walk in shower and separate tub Nothing
- Angela (10/5): Fantastic comfortable stay. - Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nothing, all was good.
- Anneliese H (10/5): - We absolutely loved everything about this apartment. It was comfortable and felt like home away from home. It had all the necessities and the bed was so comfy. We would love to stay again. We liked the quiet location. There is nothing to dislike about this property.

- Alfarah (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (10/5): What a find! - The flat was spacious and beautifully presented. What a great find. We'd recommend Aultnaskiach House to anyone coming to Inverness. Owner was lovely to deal with.
- John (8/5): Huge apartment for two - An apt in old Georgian mansion. Very spacious. Good washing facilities and most things you need available. We had to go buy fabric softener. Drysoon electric dryer for wet clothes although it would've been nice to hang clothing out as weather was so good. Huge comfy bed. Great bathroom. Outside the communal areas looked shabby, but the owners explained this is all a work in progress. It was warm and opening windows proved a challenge. Property is listed so secondary glazing has been added. Found the window pole by accident in the utility room. Windows were ver dirty.
No bathmat, so quite dangerous if you are short. Its a modern double ended bath with no grip handles. The hanging venetians in the bathroom were too long and couldn't make the room completely private. No shower gel available. Apt was on first floor so stairs up can be a struggle if you have a lot of luggage/food. This is not a detriment to the property as such but would have been useful to know.
- Adrienne (10/5): Perfect - Really comfortable with high standard equipment and furnishings
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - bright and spacious in a quiet location

- Stewart (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for visiting Inverness. Apartment was clean, spacious and quiet with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Would definitely book again if visiting Inverness in the future.
- Richard_dsc (10/5): First-class accommodation for a few days in Inverness - Fantastic flat in a grade 2 listed building. My 3rd stay there (from when it was previously listed). Palatial accommodation, especially the huge living room. Large bathroom with bath and shower, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen. Everything very clean in good condition. Helpful guide to the facilities was provided. Nothing not to like! It's a mile or so walk to the centre of town - but I didn't have a car and found the walk no problem.
- Roger (10/5): Highly recommend this apartment. Just wish we could have stayed longer. - A palatial apartment in a grand old building. Lots of room. Bathroom had been modernised. Kitchen had all the facilities was well stocked with crockery and cutlery. Washing machine and drying rack in laundry. Free parking on site. You do need a vehicle if staying here as there are no services such as shops nearby.
