Catherine (5/5): Excellent location but with no AC and an uncomfortable sofa bed meaning our stay was disappointing - The location of this apartment is excellent - right on the prom and 5 minute walking distance to Marbella Old Town. I didn't check in advance if there was air conditioning in this apartment - I just assumed there was. But there wasn't and the heat was unbearable. There was one fan to cool the whole apartment and a tiny fan on the wall in the small bedroom. We told the host and he provided a second fan which helped but at night it was nearly impossible to sleep. We were a family of four and two of us slept on a sofa bed which was awful. It was like sleeping on springs and one child had to use the cushions from the sofa to sleep on as it was so uncomfortable. Between the heat and the sofa bed, we all got very little sleep for the 5 nights we spent there. This small apartment should have AC and a comfortable sofa bed to sleep on.
