Great communication with the host and she kindly let us in early to leave our bags before we met with friends. The kitchen made it really easy to self-catering, and the bathroom was luxurious! Large rooms meant plenty of room for everyone. Comfortable beds as well - would definitely stay here again if I was in the area No parking at the property but we could park across the bridge and see our car from the window

• Papapetesn4 (10/5): A well presented and obviously much loved family home, suitable for exploring this area of Scotland - The home easily accommodated a six people in a three generation break. It is newly decorated, clean, warm and close to the shops of Langholm. If on -street parking is not available there is a large, free car park about 100m away. There were some basic foods & milk left for us in the well equipped kitchen and plenty of games to keep youngsters away from the TV (which has Netflix and Prime ). The one large bathroom has both a bath and separate shower. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms have plenty of storage spaces. We enjoyed a short walk on the other side of the river, chosen from the leaflets in the information folder. There is absolutely nothing we did not like.
