• MIKALAI (10/5): - I highly recommend this hotel. From my point of view main advantages of this accommodation. 1. It's located in historical center of the city. 2. Amazing stuff, they did their best in order to help with any request/question. They are really hospitable. Tips about good café for evening and best way to other city. They can help. 3. Wi-Fi connection was stable during my whole stay. I watched RG(tennis) online without any problems with connection. 4. Room was clean. Towels have been changed daily. I forgot my shive at home, but even shive was in this hotel. Huge respect. 5. Various options for breakfast (you choose what do you prefer). Breakfast is quite big. All in all, this hotel is a good idea, if you are looking for beautiful place in Catania.

Valéria de la réception ainsi que le propriétaire Giovanni étaient extrêmement sympathiques. J’y retournerais sans hésiter. Un peu compliqué d’y accéder le soir pour le checkin comme mon vol était tard. Je devais saisir un code à plusieurs endroits et c’était très noir dans la rue, la cour intérieure et l’édifice.

Personal sehr freundlich, kümmert sich um alles von Taxi rufen bis Ausflüge buchen. Auch über WhatsApp erreichbar 24/7. In unserem Zimmer waren zwei dachfenster auf 3m Höhe und kein Fenster zum raus schauen. Aber für zwei Nächte war kein Problem.

• Matthew (10/5): Exceptional value for money, amazing stay! - Amazing place to stay. Super helpful staff for check-in process. Everyone we met. From receptionists to cleaners were so friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable room and it was completely spotless. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much food. Could not recommend it highly enough! There is nothing I would say that we did not like about our stay.
• Patrick (7/5): - The breakfast was nice. The room was clean and it was close to the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't let the pictures and name fool you - if you expect something exclusive (you want to treat yourself), it's not what you get. The pictures are highly polished and the place is by far not as glamorous as the owner would like you to think. The door makes loud clicking-clacking noises when someone open a door or something else in the place; this happened every couple of minutes and might easily wake you up at night. Stuffed toilet paper near the lock to fix the issue. Catania is not a nice city in my humble opinion. It's dirty and the air quality is bad, there is almost no greenery. If you have to go there, this place is an option. Noto is a nicer option, for example.

• Gertrud (10/5): - Top Lage, schöne Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstück und absolut freundliches, sehr kompetentes Personal. Eingangs Situation beim self Check in nicht ganz einfach, wurde aber per WhatsApp genauestens beschrieben, sogar mit Video. Problem mit einer der Türen wurde in 2 Minuten per Telefon gelöst. Absolute Weiterempfehlung für ein zentral gelegenes Stadthotel. Eingang erst mal durch einen etwas heruntergekommenen Innenhof, Kleidung und Badeartikel wurden beim Zimmer machen "aufgeräumt", was ich nicht gerne mag. Finde das sollte dort bleiben wo die Gäste es möchten..

• FRANCESCO (9/5): - A due passi da Piazza del Duomo, una struttura moderna in un palazzo antico dotata di serrature ed ascensore elettronici (viene fornita una tessera magnetica). La camera è perfetta e viene pulita ogni giorno, il personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Ci tornerò sicuramente! Unico, piccolo, neo ma ininfluente: per accedere al bagno della mia singola, bisognava scendere degli scalini. Soliti problemi di parcheggio, per chi ha la macchina, ma risolvibili rivolgendosi ad una rimessa lì vicino (chiedere maggiori info al personale).

La señorita de recepción muy amable y antes de llegar contactaron con nosotros vía WhatsApp lo que facilitó la entrada El edificio asusta , sobre todo si se entra de noche . Lo cierto es que la mayoría de los edificios de Catania están muy deteriorados y sucios

• ANA CLAUDIA (7/5): Se o seu interesse for localização e conforto no quarto, o hotel está okay - A localização é muito próxima do centro histórico O estacionamento é de propriedade particular; quase que o dono estraga nossa viagem pois a grosseria dele foi tão expressiva que ficamos chocadas; estava super alterado e nervoso reclamando que estava nos esperando no local e não chegávamos (estávamos descarregando as malas no quarto pois o estacionamento fica a 7 quadras de distância do hotel). Ficamos chocadas e tristes pois foi nosso impacto na chegada.

• michela (10/5): - La struttura è in un'ottima posizione nel centro storico, facilmente raggiungibile con l'auto ma a pochi passi a piedi da tutti i siti di interesse di Catania. Abbiamo ricevuto assistenza attenta, cortese e veloce, sia alla prenotazione che durante tutto il soggiorno, tanto dal proprietario che dalla Signora alla reception. Ci è stato consigliato un garage al chiuso nelle immediate vicinanze molto conveniente. La struttura è di recente ristrutturazione e la camera ha arredi essenziali, ma funzionali e nuovi, il bagno è ampio e fornito di tutto il necessario (è la prima volta che in un albergo trovo anche il diffusore per i capelli ricci). Ottima in generale la pulizia. Per la colazione, benché non sia previsto un buffet, sono serviti, su richiesta, buoni prodotti freschi con ampia scelta. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura per le vostre vacanze a Catania.

They offered savory or sweet breakfast, the savory was scrambled eggs and a generous plate of meat cuts and selection of cheese. As I do not eat pork they offered me non-pork meat cuts. On the day when we had to leave early for Etna hike they prepared for us delicious sandwiches as a packet breakfast/lunch. Everything was just great.

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful: fresh, delicious, generous portions, great options. Valeria, who runs reception and prepares the breakfast is a jewel. She is knowledgeable, super helpful, friendly, just lovely!

Kambariai nedideli, mansardiniai, neturi langų, tik stogo langus, todėl vaizdo pro langą nematysite. Viešbutis paskutiniame aukšte, jeigu sugęs liftas, tai turėkite omenyje, kad teks lipti aukštai. Reikia tą įsivertinti.

• Agata (10/5): Lovely stay in Catania - Very nice location, close to the center but in a quiet area. The bed was very comfortable, room and bathroom were super clean and the staff was fantastic, very friendly and we felt most welcome. For light sleepers, take earplugs. Not because of the noise from the outside, but inside. You can easily hear things happening outside the room, like people talking in the corridor or baby crying in the room next to us. It didn't affect our stay as much, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Camere un po' rumorose se ci sono altri ospiti, il bagno puzza un po' ma non credo sia un problema della struttura o della pulizia quanto del sistema fognario della città

Inmejorable ubicación, para hacer todo a pie. Giovanni y Valeria súper amables y predispuestos. Valeria me ayudó con el equipaje hasta la vereda y me pidió el taxi. Lo recomiendo. Volvería sin dudar. No hubo nada que no me gustara. Todo perfecto
• Elisabeth (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft in toller Lage - Tolle Lage (wenn man das Gebäude verlässt und nach rechts schaut, sieht man den Dom). Es war kein Straßenlärm zu hören, weil die Balkontür in den Innenhof ging. Mir gefiel auch die Atmosphäre eines Gebäudes, in dem auch Einheimische wohnen, besser als die Atmosphäre eines Hotels. Der Gastgeber reagierte prompt auf alle Anfragen, die Damen in der Rezeption waren sehr hilfreich und gaben super Tipps. Gut organisiert war auch die Möglichkeit, den Koffer am Abreisetag nach dem Auschecken im Quartier zu deponieren. Wasserkocher und Teesäckchen und eine gefüllte Minibar, sehr sauber Die Tore im Hof haben schon manchmal geknallt, andere Gäste waren zu hören (nachdem's nicht so viele sind, war das aber akzeptabel)
• Harun (10/5): One of the best places I have stayed in entire Italy - Excellent location, at the very heart of the city. Yet, there is absolutely no noise from outside, which is very rare to find. The staff is very friendly and professional. Very clean, comfy rooms. The rooms have windows above on the roof, not on the sides. We didn't mind at all, but could be a bit claustrophobic for some.

• Ludwig (8/5): Fast mitten in der Stadt gelegene Basis für Besichtigungen zu Fuß - Das Gebäude liegt ca. 500 m vom Dom entfernt, wo in alle Richtungen die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Catania schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Die junge Dame, die uns schon etwas früher als offiziell den Zugang zum Zimmer ermöglichte, hat uns für Samstag ein umfangreiches, wohlschmeckendes Frühstück bereitet. Für Sonntag haben wir eine Bar nur 150 m entfernt zum frühstücken genutzt. Das Parken des Autos ca. 800 m entfernt in einer Nebenstraße ist gut machbar, selbst im turbulenten Stadtverkehr. Das Zimmer ist etwas kleiner als die Fotos bei Booking suggerieren. Es gibt nur sehr begrenzten Stauraum und das Bad ist durch eine höhere Stufe zu Dusche und WC etwas eigenartig in der Nutzung.

• Stefano (9/5): Soggiorno in posizione centrale - Posizione centrale (10 minuti a piedi dal duomo). Stanze nuove e pulite (con pulizia giornaliera), letto comodo e presenza della receptionist (gentile) per buona parte della giornata. Ci hanno anche indicato una serie di posti dove poter mangiare, anche se a Catania c'è solo l'imbarazzo della scelta. Nulla.

• Michela (10/5): - La struttura è in posizione strategica per il centro di Catania ed all'interno di un bellissimo palazzo nobiliare. La ristrutturazione del bed and breakfast ha saputo coniugare buon gusto, rispetto dell'esistente e funzionalità. Receptionist e titolare della struttura sempre gentili e disponibili. È stato un soggiorno assolutamente perfetto Niente da criticare.

• Dimitrios (10/5): Excellent place to stay, top service, convinient location near Piazza Duomo. - The service offered by Valleria and Giovanni in the reception, Valleria's assistance with our lugage, the excelent breakfast which we purchased as we had not included originally in our reservation, the high level of cleanlines of our rooms, the short walking distance from Piazza Duomo and most of the main attractions. The room furniture is modern and very functional , the bed mattres is very confortable. . also the bathroom is similarly well equipped. Finally value for money we thought that we got a very good deal. As it was mentioned when we booked there is no lift and this is a problem for people over 70 like ourselves carrying plenty of lugage, however Valleria carried our lugage and the problem was solved. First impression of the area around Palazzo Sisto is not favourable but after walking around you realise it is safe and full of nice people so dont let 1st impressions about the area to deter you. If you come by car ask in advance from the hotel to assist you regarding parking as it is very difficult to find space in the area. Apart from that we found nothing we did not like. We will definetily try to come again.
