• Ella (1/5): Terrible! - Probably one of the worst hotel experience I have ever had from both booking.com and the hotel. We were assured before we arrived that we had beach and pool access only to arrive and be told we needed to pay an additional £1200 on top of what we had already paid. I emailed and called booking.com to no response and spoke to the hotel multiple times with them just telling us to speak to booking.com. The room was covered in chips and marks, the curtains were ripped and had holes in. The breakfast was at a restaurant not on site, with only one option for breakfast containing both nuts and milk. Avoid!

• Hasan Ali (10/5): - Wij hebben oorspronkelijk één week geboekt, maar vanwege de fijne ervaring direct met nog een week verlengd in totaal dus twee weken verbleven. De locatie is perfect, dicht bij het strand en met toegang tot het zwembad van Social Living Hotel. Het strand is prachtig en de ligbedden zijn van goede kwaliteit. We willen graag de medewerkers bedanken voor hun gastvrijheid, en in het bijzonder de heer Okan en de heer Umut van Social Living. Zij waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dankzij hen hebben wij ons extra welkom gevoeld. Kortom: een aanrader!

They provide the breakfast at another place in the marina where the staff are very rude and they throw the dishes like they’re making you a favor.

• Hassanieh (1/5): Uncomfortable - It’s very run down and not well maintained. The room feels like a prison and the level of cleanliness was shocking we had to request bed sheet change upon arrival and then went to the local supermarket, got wipes and cleaned the headboard and the surrounding area which was filthy with dust. Truly nightmarish 2 nights!

Tv in bedroom did not work, no matter, it would have been impossible to hear over the noise from outside (cars, music, bars, nightclubs). Even with windows closed it was like with windows open.

The gym - Charming boutique hotel Charming but Disrupted by Noise The Yalıkavak Hotel Garden has the charm and character of a true boutique stay. The gym (150m) and breakfast spot (200m) are nearby, and valet parking (€20/day) about 200m away was convenient. The beach club was not yet open (scheduled for July 15, 2025), which was fine. However, the noise from the adjacent nightclub was unbearable—music played until 3:00 AM nightly. We considered leaving but couldn’t find alternative accommodation as Bodrum was fully booked. Sadly, we won’t return, at least not during high season.

• Katherine (7/5): Good - Lovely room, building and garden. Clean, nicely serviced daily, shady outdoor communal seating area. Close to the marina entrance and walking distance to the bus station and restaurants and shops in the older quarter. Breakfast is offside at a cafe and was tasty. Staff pleasant and assisted me when I had some issues. The pool was not available even though we received emails saying it was open and there was no decent beach access. It was also unclear whether fitness centre was available. There is construction going nearby too.

Very very disappointed a pool was not available we had been notified via email several times that the pool was available until after the date we were there... I would not have stayed there if I had known otherwise it is a great place with great staff.

The marina is just steps away with a good variety of restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room size and layout.

The hotel is not clean, there is no security, they leave the receptionist to be the security! The musics of the surrounding night clubs stays until 3:30 and the walls are very thin so you can’t sleep until then. We had 3 rooms at that hotel which is not worth the money paid and the 3 rooms had issues with AC with safe with insects all around you. In our last night when they refused to give us a late check out, a drunk women with her boyfriend got into a fight and she started to scrams at 3 am and didn’t stop until 8! There was no security to help we were unable to sleep and scared to go out, the receptionist who is a young man didn’t know what to do and the police arrived at 8 only! 5 hours of screaming and the hotel says we can’t do anything! I forced my late checkout on them after this because we couldn’t sleep at night and we had 2 children with us. There is no breakfast you have to go to the Marina if you want to eat. I requested a minivan to pick us up and the driver didn’t help with the bags, the AC was not working he was on the phone the entire time and he stopped for petrol while we are in the car!!!! this is the second worst place I stayed at my entire life. The insects where everywhere and the had no solution, they gave us expired things to help but no spray nothing. The floor is dirty you just try to wipe it with a tissue and see. The room smelled of cigarettes and they said sorry the customer before you just left! There is nothing at the hotel no pool no beach no reception “reception is a room with a desk”

• Abby (10/5): Amazing comfort, location and staff. - I could not say enough about how good this hotel is. Location, staff, cleanliness etc. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. The pool is a 2/3 min walk from the hotel, but wow, the private beach and pool is breathtaking. Genuinely not one bad thing to say!

• Lujain (3/5): Toilet is annoying and there is no sunshine that goes into it - The location They charged me by mistake and I had to pay another time and till now I didn't recieve the refund from my bank therefore I have to pay a visit to the bank which is super annoying ,plus with all that I asked for a late checkout and instead of compensating me about all the trouble they didn't allow it even for an hour.

• Steve (1/5): Bad experience. Poor communication. - Clean room. Paid £170 for 1 night to sleep in a bed. No facilities at all as we were told they were shut for referbishment, then was taken by staff member accross the road to marina spar and expected to pay £55 each to use their spar. Access to beach was shut for road works. Most expensive bed we ever slept in. Miss communication from staff and was informed of issues after we had made our booking which was non refundable. Our garden view room was of next doors garden that had building work going on. Bad experience.
• Hande (6/5): Pleasant - Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Zu Fuß kommen Sie in 5 Minuten an der Marina an und haben sehr viele Auswahl an Restaurants und Läden. Das Design des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr schön. The location of the hotel is truly perfect. It only takes 5 minutes by foot to get to the marina, where you can find a wide range of restaurants and shops. The design of the hotel is also very pretty and very clean. Unfortunately, there are a couple of things that were disappointing: Firstly, our reservation included a breakfast, however when I asked the lady at the receptions she expressed that they do not offer any breakfast at their restaurant and according to the booking system it is not states that we paid for a breakfast. Therefore, she said we would have to organize our breakfast ourselves, although it was clearly stated in the booking confirmation. I immediately contacted the hotel through booking and expressed my problem and thankfully, they were able to solve my concern and offered a breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Secondly, we booked a room for 3 people (I am very sure that the hotel staff was informed about the number of their customers). Meaning a room with a full size bed and a couch. I have been to plenty of hotels and I naturally expected the couch to have a bedding with a pillow and blanket. We arrived and there was only a couch… We contacted the staff and they gave me the bedding, so I could put everything on the couch?? I really think if it’s really worth to pay that much, just so you can put your hotel bedding by yourself?! Thirdly, there was no iron in the room. We found an ironing table but no iron. I went to the receptionist and asked the lady for one and the response I got was „there should be one please check again“. I, of course, checked again but there was none. So, I kindly asked the staff for an iron and they said they would. We never received the iron :) ps: they charge you more than fixed on booking and the receipt says that after paying you have no right to complain :) I truly believe for a hotel, located in Yalikavak, these small issues should be prevented. How can a hotel not have an iron or not prepare a room correctly according to the number of guests? They know how to charge 3 people for 4 nights for one night but do not manage to prepare a room for 3 people.
• May (10/5): Great hotel with the best staff - We loved every detail about this hotel. Location was super, few minutes walk to the Marina. The rooms were spacious and clean. The advantage to use the beach resort facilities is definitely a plus. The staff were extra friendly and helpful in both Garden and beach hotel. Ayśe is the best, she also helped us to rent a car. Sumaya and Tuna were great and helpful. Also the staff we meet in the beach area were super friendly and helpful. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay extra amazing. The only small thing that we didn’t like was the noise at night from the places around the hotel. Which of course is not the hotel’s fault. But that will not prevent us from staying there again.

They did not include breakfast like they used to at one of the restaurants in the Marina. Cookshop was open, they could provide breakfast included there like they used to. The room flooring needs to be better cleaned, my bare feet got dirty.

• Sofia (7/5): good enough but could have gotten better for price - great location, right next to the marina. don’t go if not high season (mid-June - mid September) - everything is closed there and we had to get taxis to town. room had no light. very loud in the morning, you could hear everything from other rooms.
• Doleman (6/5): It was good but 6 days were sufficient - The staff were lovely and tried to help with any questions. The rooms were a good size if a little dated and there was no a/c - rooms were cleaned in a prompt way the room safe was big enough to take a laptop and the internet with high speed enough to download and run live streaming easily without interuption. The rooms were a little dated but spacious, it should be made clear that the restaurant and gym are not on site but across the road - close but a little annoying and there is no real outside space to sit, rooms had no balcony, the windows were small in high season could be quite stuffy I would think. The taxi pick up from the airport was good but very expensive for the distance compared with other locations in Turkey.

• Diana (8/5): Lovely Location & Great Staff - This was a plesant stay in a lovely location. Staff were terrifically kind and helpful! The spa was enjoyable and the masseuse fantastic! The cleanliness of the unit could be improved. The room smelled a bit of smoke, the sheets were clean but stained. The bathroom was tiny and arranged in a way that it would be a tight fit for a large person to stand at the sink and have the door closed. A new mattress is in order as ours we as very saggy.

• Olga (5/5): no beach (since under construction), we were disappointed when figured out this - lovely boutique hotel, comfy and clean, rooms have all facilities (hair drier, iron and tea/coffee facilities), breakfasts are served in a restaurant that is outside of the hotel (it will take you 5-7 mins to go there), breakfasts are delicious (if you ask for extra olives/watermelon, they will give you) when I booked the hotel, it was written: you can use our private beach 100 meters away from the property. even now I have this information in the description column. THE FACT: the hotel could not provide their clients with ANY beach. they advised us to use beach clubs (500 TL / per adult). that was something unbelievable. I picked this hotel to spend time at the beach side. in fact I could not do it and they asked me to pay total amount of money.
