Miriam Christina (1/5): - Gute Frage..... :-/ Der Aufenthalt war leider insgesamt enttäuschend. Die Unterkunft entspricht überhaupt nicht den Fotos – alles wirkt deutlich abgewohnter und ungepflegter. Das Personal war eher unfreundlich und wenig hilfsbereit. Im Gefrierschrank war eine dicke Eisschicht, im Nachttisch lag noch Abfall vom Vorgast, was ein schlechtes Bild in Sachen Sauberkeit hinterlässt. Die Küche war extrem klein, und nur eine Herdplatte funktionierte, was das Kochen nahezu unmöglich machte. Der erste Wasserkocher war sehr stark verkalkt und wurde ersetzt, aber auch der zweite war völlig verdreckt und hatte verbrannte Heizstäbe. WC Spülung war defekt - erst am Morgen danach wurde diese repariert. Die Unterkunft ist außerdem sehr laut gelegen, was an erholsamen Schlaf kaum denken ließ. Zusätzlich fanden wir abgelaufene Kaffeesahne (10.07.2025) – bei einem Aufenthalt im August 2025 ist das nicht akzeptabel. Fazit: Preis-Leistung stimmt hier leider überhaupt nicht. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Eliane (6/5): Lage topp, Wohnung Flop - Die Lage war topp und die Grösse des Appartements auch. Das Appartement ist düster mit dem vielen Holz und den Butzenscheiben. Die Lampen/Beleuchtung müssten dringend erneuert werden. Die einte Duschkopfbefestigung ist defekt. Die Reinigung erfolgte nicht jeden Tag und die Betten waren teilweise nicht gemacht. Toilettenpaper wurde auch immer nicht aufgefüllt.

In the middle of the town wich gives good proximity to all you need. The furniture is strange and the place has a cheap look and feel. Curtain do not black out 100%. TV is in an odd place. It doesn’t really have a soul.

Eszter (8/5): An impressive-looking accommodation in a romantic hunting-lodge style. - At the time of booking, it wasn’t clear which apartment we would get. In the end, we received the spacious, beautiful, vintage-style yet renovated Veneto Suite, with a large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The two bedrooms each have a nice bathroom, and the beds are comfortable. The heavy brocade blackout curtains were musty, and it seemed the previous guest may have smoked, as the smell of cigarette smoke took several hours to air out. The apartment is very beautiful, but extremely noisy — it's hard to sleep with the windows open.

Markus (2/5): Einmal und nie wieder! Und werde ich auch nicht weiter empfehlen! - Sehr sehr unfreundliche Dame an der Rezeption! Rezeption 5 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. Wenn man Frühstück dazu bucht, muss man in das Hotel rübergehen. Die 5 Minuten wären nicht das Problem, aber bei starken Regen 🌧️ einfach nicht lustig! Der Urlaub beginnt schon an der Rezeption! Und da war der Urlaub quasi vorbei!!!

Breda (10/5): Best we’ve ever stayed - Comfortable clean quiet central spacious luxurious and the decoration was spectacular The lightening was a bit too dim.
Peter (6/5): Pleasant enough apartment, if a little strange. Great for exploring Klagenfurt. - The location was really excellent and allowed easy access to the historic centre of Klagenfurt. The apartment is surrounded by lovely shops and cafes and there is a beautiful little market right on the doorstep. The Gasthaus Pumpe, two doors down, is brilliant. There is also ample parking nearby if you have your own car. A bit expensive but fine. The apartment itself was very spacious, if a little random in layout and decor. It felt a bit like a museum. The presence of a huge trampoline in the lobby was a big bonus for the kids and a big surprise for us We had two small kids with us and so had booked specifically because the apartment was sold as having a kitchen. It doesn’t. It has a tiny little nook with a two ring electric hob (that looks about 100 years old) and not much else. It was very disappointing.

Iliya (5/5): Disappointing Experience with Many Issues - Our stay at these apartments was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, we discovered that the air conditioner in our unit was not working. Despite promises that it would be fixed within three hours, it doesn’t happen . By 11 PM, we were moved to another apartment where the air conditioner functioned, but unfortunately, the bed was broken and tilted at an uncomfortable angle. The first apartment was dimly lit, creating a gloomy atmosphere in the evening. Additionally, there is no parking available on-site. To access the apartment from the paid parking area, which is quite expensive, you have to walk through a market. On the day of our departure, the entire street was blocked due to the market, forcing us to drag our luggage through it. The amenities were lacking as well. There was no shampoo provided, and the curtains did not close properly, letting in a lot of light in the morning. Overall, the quality of the accommodations did not match the price we paid. This experience was disappointing, and we would not recommend staying here.

Angela (7/5): Great position, just a few tweaks needed to make the apartment great too! - Reception were friendly and helpful. It was exceptionally hot, but the air conditioning was very noisy, and the curtains, when drawn properly, totally covered the unit!! We had to tuck them under and put them on the windowsill! There were no instructions on how to use the remote to turn it on, but we managed after a while. The mini bar wasn’t stocked and we had no shower gel. The water container for the coffee machine was broken so we could only half fill it. These little things all add up. Just a lack of care really. We were in a studio apartment.

Birgit (8/5): Would definitely stay there again but hope they fix channel line up on TV and have a better “equipped” bathroom. - Quaint studio apartment with cooking and food prep area located in the heart of Klagenfurt. * TV channels did not work. Although addressed to staff / front desk on day two the majority of the channels, esp the Austrian ones, did not work and the issue was never fixed (all I got was shoulder shrugging from a staff member when addressed). * I had to request extra towels several times as well as soap, paper towels for kitchen. * Given the property is at the market place, hotel should provide better parking options. I did park once at the garage, however upon asking for an “exit ticket” I was told it would be cheaper if I paid personally when exiting given the “short” period I stayed in the garage. ($17 for ~3 hours was the cheaper option) On a positive note, I met the building owner Mr. Musil who I had a very pleasant chat with.

No water for drinking in the room.The building were the apartment is really difficult to find to get inside and very dark, with all the suitcases we had to walk a long way from the hotel. There was a problem with the water in the apartment so they offered us a wonderful apartment Maisonette in the main hotel (Sandwirth Hotel). I can fault nothing with the apartment. it was spacious and beautiful with great facilities nothing

Beatriz (4/5): The hotel does not deserve 4 stars. No parking, far away rooms. - Good breakfast and nice staff. Good location. First of all: no free parking. We had to park in a public parking next to the hotel and we payed 20 euros for that. The room that was given to us was NOT on the main building. We had to march on the streets to go to another building (at night, with all of our luggage and kids) where our romm was. The building was creepy when we entered it. On the room keys of was written it was on the 1st floor, but after trying to open all the doors of the rooms we saw, we realized it has to be on another floor. It was on the 2nd floor. The room in itself was clean, but too big without need. The bed was not comfortable. The next day, we had to march across the streets again (and we had the misfortune of it being on a street market day) to have breakfast on the main building. Breakfast was ok. Then we had to go back to our room and march across the market to attain our car in the public parking lot... Not nice at all. Not deserving of 4 stars.
